On-the-Go Guide to Dress, Quilt, Craft Fabrics This updated app will give you on-the-go information about more than 120 well-known fabrics. Hyperlinks and links to video will help identify the best fabrics for a: skirt ...
I love this app Extremely helpfully for selecting and purchasing fabrics Only fault is the fact that the videos do not load                 Awesome
Pros A listing of fabric names with a brief description of each Cons only one image per fabric No search        Not much substance
As a total fabric idiot and sewing newbie I found this app to be really helpful in chosing fabrics There are detailed decriptions for the fabrics in the database and an assorment of phots for each entry along with instructions for care and examples of what the fabric is used for I feel much more confident shopping for fabrics now that I have this resource at hand                 Excellent Resource
I was very impressed today when I test drove this app at the fabric store It had very detailed descriptions of the fabrics as well as the needles and thread choices that were best suited for the fabrics I love the fact that I can add my own comments to the fabrics Thank you for taking the time to create this app There is a lot of detail in this app                 Very useful application for any seamstress
This app is a keeper Looking forward to the updates Im very happy about the concise sewing recommendations for each fabric type                 Thank you
Thank You Wanted to learn more see more about types of fabrics for my embroiderysewing business Now have something to aid in my needed education on fabrics Now I am able to take the education with me EVERYWHERE I go                 AWESOME APP
What a great app Really like all the info and cant wait to spend time playing wit                 Fabric U
Not as good as expected           Its an ok app
What a lovely app Descriptions are helpful pictures are beautiful I will definitely use this when Im out buying fabric                 Great Resource
This is a nice app to have I like how it gives you tips for the working with the fabric and the proper notions to use with them The fabric pictures and pictures of clothing made from the fabric give sewers an idea of what could be made out of this if it a new fabric to them Will refer to this app often                 good app
My days of wandering through a fabric store feeling stupid are over This app just let me into the club of secrets everyone in these stores always seems to belong to except me I usually like to hit the clearance bin to see if I could use any scraps for my scrapbooking hobby but without knowing the material properties Im gambling on whether this 4 is wellspent for my purpose or not So this should save me money too                 Ill like fabric stores now
Good explanations of different fabric types I anticipate this will be handy when I am on the go used in conjunction with Pattern Pal and Fabric Stash I really like that there are washing instructions and needle and thread choices and a variety of pictures I hope you keep adding fabric types I would like to see tips within a fabric type about how to spot lowquality andor highquality fabric in that category Photos showing drapability of certain fabrics would be great too Thanks              Handy app
I really like the app Nice amount of fabric and textile types I would really like to see more though If you had maybe a quick history of the fabric or what it is made of that would be even better Also if you had a closeup shot of the fabrics so that you can see the individual threads that would be great Or even let people upload pictures to share Still very nice app with great potential           Nice app
Nice app              Very useful
This app is very helpful in choosing fabric              Very Helpful
Everything from Hippie Chic Tie Dye to Natalie Knit as well as the better known variations of silks woolens and cottons The best feature are the examples of made up garments from each type of fabric which is very useful when trying to detemine if a given fabric will work for a garment One small quibble there should be a button to go straight back to the fabric index from within each fabric type in this original version a user has to back out screen by screen The garment examples also play in a loop it would be more user friendly to be able to go right back to the index              Covers a Wide Range of Fabrics
This app is awesome Fabric descriptions are perfect Garment styling is on point And then we also get needle selection So worth the price and then some Thank you3 Love it                 On point
What a great app Now when I go to a fabric store I wont be scratching my head wondering what that fabric Is and what to do with it If you sew you need this app                 Fantastic app
There is very little real information on fabrics I want to know the origin of the fiber ie from a plant a goat a sheep manmade What type of weavetwill plain weave knit Tensile strength Low burn or melt point Abrasion resistance Most of the information is not useful just comments such as wouldnt this make a nice skirt I dont think the word University should be in the title It is not scholarly It also includes comments of which many seem to be thinly disguised ads Somewhat entertaining for fabraholics so I will give it two stars        university
