Id rate this at least another star if it would display video in landscape mode It only allows you to watch a small 169 rectangle in portrait orientation           Good except no Landscape Video

Still no fixes Random crashes on 50 of the video Ive watched I finally removed it because now its stuck on loading screen     Random crashes

Too many ads and too many crashes Used to be a very good app           Crashes too often

If it isnt a story you cant tap on until you scroll it off the screen and back no copy link or open in safari to make sharing articles easier then its the fact that no one at ABC7 News is capable of proofreading anything they publish If you want your news from an organization that very clearly doesnt give a about what they publish and your enjoyment while reading it this is the app for you     Terrible

Once this starts it continues to use resources until the next time you power cycle It is my biggest could user        Uses too much resource

This app used to be my favorite over the years for Bay Area news But trying to watch a video requires a 30 second ad for a video only lasting about one minute Kgo had to rethink this app and how it affects their users Im disappointed with them it was the best     AN APP FULL OF ADS

This is my one of my daily go to apps The navigation is super easy and the layout is very clean I love that I can get both local and national news and there are links to national news programs It has a large collection of videos along with well written up to date articles I use the traffic section to evaluate my commute esp in the afternoon Its always updated and never crashes Thanks for a great app                 One of THE best news app

Latest update made this app crash on every startup on iPhone 6 with iOS 83     Keeps crashingCould be the best Bay Area news app

Its generally a good app but twice now they have frivolously texted me at 11pm to watch at 1112pm about hoarding and rats Unless its an emergency dont text people at 11pm to watch useless news People are trying to sleep and you are scaring us awake I didnt want to write a negative review but I left them feedback after the first hoarding text but they just texted me to watch again about rats Frivolous     Great app but frivolous texts at 11pm

This app has a commercial before every short little clip a proportion way more than just watching it on television Really bad     Way too many commercials

All is now working just like before on my old 3rd gen iTouch No longer need to rely on other local channels apps              Nice to have updated the latest fix

EXCEPT for the random bizarre interruptions of the silent sports scores and commercial breaks which they obviously arent on Im not even sure the scores are current Why not create a separate link for the live sports update I bet the sports fans would love not having to sit through the rest of the news just to get the latest scores How often do they miss the scores because theres no warning theyre coming up Fix this and youll get 5 stars              Love the live streaming news

They have introduced ads to this app and that alone made me delete this app you cant even skip the ads Good job on making a great app into something of the past Ps Pit bulls arent bad so stop making them be bad dogs and focus on other Breeds aka German shepards which you can train and speak German but they will still attack why dont you put your focus on that Rather the stories you make up and try to outlaw Why you get a pug and put your fingers in hisher mouth send me pictures of the outcome you prejudice people     It used to be a great app

For the past week when I check traffic I cant actually see the accidents it just zooms me in So I cant tell how itll affect my work commute Please fix soon           I love this app but

this news app did work but now since it came out with an update its not working it wont even open and screen is dark fix please           needs another fix

An ad for every video that last 30 seconds Ive had a rule for years that dont buy products or services when I am ad bombed     Terrible

When you click news with video it plays AD first After that it fails to play video     Crash with video Can only play the AD

This app rarely works When trying to watch I usually get is a message telling me when the next live newscast starts even though there is a live newscast going on Sometimes it cuts out in the middle of a story to say they are in a commercial break Occasionally sequences repeat     Rarely Works

The same stories remain on the app for days and in some cases weeks The news that is broadcast on TV as well as the newspapers manage to find new stories to read everyday todays news Ive never experienced any news organization repeating the same story for days and weeks My favorite local news channel so Ill continue getting my news from TV        Old news

I use an iPad and iPhone Vids do not play on my devices even when I updated to iOS 8     Videos do not play on devices

This used to be a great app for breaking newsnow they use the breaking news alert tone to advertise their upcoming shows This has woke me up several times I go to check the alert only to find they are just advertising One more time and it gets deleted        Shameless advertising

Update This current update breaks the video playback on a 5s Can you guys please get a dedicated app team I love the content in this app but the app frequently crashes while watching videos This app needs a lot of work Please fix it     Bugs and crashes

I was trying to open up the app to ABC news San Francisco but ended up being on Best Buy shopping site Tried to go back to the original site of which this app is supposed to function but it didnt provide me much except to remove the app     Not a genuine ABC news app

App is pretty good Not the best UI Limited news stories and relies too heavily on videos Most of all the Home button at the bottom of the screen is not ergonomically positioned All others place it on the top of the page Much easier on top           Move the Home button

The live broadcast does not include the sports segment During this slot all you get is graphics of the current scores and pure silence Since I am commuting during the news hour I would also like to catch up on sports in addition to the news and weather Emailed them a few times about this issue but no response Pure silence just like the sports segment So I deleted this app and downloaded the NBC Bay Area app Now I can get live sports to go along with the news and weather segments     No Sports segment

Ive used this for awhile I think there used to be an option to change the font size at the bottom but now thats covered by ads and theres no way to make the text smaller Im stuck with a huge font once I open a story        Text size is huge

I rely on this app to get alerts about important news since Im home alone all the time But they send out constant updates on sports scores multiple promos about parades etc There should be some way to choose the kinds of alerts I want to receive           Im SO sick of getting alerts about sports parades junk

Someone needs to train that girl Her traffic reports on this app are utter and complete trash You need a REAL reporter Someone like Sal from ktvu Its sad that abc went and gave her a job just because some people find her attractive Her traffic repost dont show the commuter what they need Its always the same highway ALL THE TIME I feel bad that the developers fell for this Traffic cams this image is not available Let me guess shes doing her hair Proposing WAZE because she has to rely on other drivers to tell her whats going on Im deleting this app and telling all my friends and family to do the same Also going to use the GREAT KTVU app It doesnt crash Up to date stories Your stories are at best several days old You just lost several users AND viewers ZERO stars     This a JOKE

If youre looking at this app for the Doppler maps forget it The interface is way to complicated and the Doppler maps vs time cannot be sped up it would take several minutes to sit through the day progression And there are no temps shown Compared to the exquisitely simple and practical Mr Chilly for SF microclimates this app is amusing Stick to news broadcasting and leave app dev to the 22 year olds     Comically complicated for weather

With 4S 16GB 2GB avail iOs 81 if you access weather Live Doppler7 choose an area to view ie North Bay then view the page landscap default but rotate back to portrait and choose Done you will go back one screen and see the page is dimmed Touch Live Doppler again once to bring back the screen touch Live Doppler again and choose an area to view You will be taken to a distorted area screen rotated 90 degrees and the app is frozen One must reboot the phone to access the app again QA please        Buggy in some places

So finally we get a longoverdue update that fixes exactly none of the issues with this app Still no support for iPhone 66 still uses an iOS 6style UI still randomly crashes and freezes the toolbar breaking news and ads still take up roughly a third of the screen when trying to read articles Youre much better off just going to the ABC7 website At least that way youll get content that isnt zoomed and blurry and it wont crash constantly     Update fixes nothing

This app is okay for viewing local news Still in the new version it wont allow zoom on pics and wont allow landscape I want to be able to see the pics bigger A pictures worth 1000 words           Limited visuals

Since the latest update I get the push notifications but when I touch a story to read all I get is a blank screen no news So frustrating as this app was how I read my morning news     Need Fix

Good app overall but it crashes too often for my taste and boots me entirely out The biggest issue is there doesnt seem to be any way to stop it from sending notifications that interrupt my day or to control what it intrudes on me with and the intrusions are driving me nuts The Settings section where one would expect to actually find such controls contains nothing but the TOS and links to feedback and this review page but no way at all to actually set anything at all Please fix this We should be able to control what we want alerts about and what we do not ourselves           OK but problems exist

The traffic map is the most inaccurate thing Ive ever used I get that traffic changes but this is so wrong no matter when you check it Good thing this app is free     Garbage
