Air Login

This makes it so easy to remote into my home Mac Only complaint I have is scrolling Not the best experience              Fantastic app

I strongly suspect the 5star reviews are from the supplier I followed the directions exactly for both the iPhone app and the Mac OS app When I attempted to log in it looked like it was going to then just went to a solid grey screen and stayed that way Chalk this up to a good idea if you can ever get it to actually function Mac users at least should a tick to the VNC apps They are a little slow but they do work     Does not work

This app is a joke There is no audio supported You watch but you cant listen     DOES NOT PROVIDE ANY SOUND

I have had the app installed for 3 days now After a long delay authenticating I always get Host Offline message Each time Every time As a result I have no idea if the app works Very frustrating At a minimum the alternative apps always connect     Has never connected

I can ping my laptop but air display cant connect to it On the same wireless network and rebooted I will try it on my Mac yet but I have a feeling this will be uninstalled     Doesnt work with my laptop

App has become useless Crashes when selecting a computer to control Paid the 90 day extra and it doesnt work outside the network Very frustrated     Crashes

Not worth it Very difficult to work with desktop view from iPad Very small text and the mouse is awful Not only that but I got billed 1499 and was unable to cancel with iTunes because app shows up as free on my account Im apparently stuck for 1499 so dont buy unless you are sure this is something you need     Dont Buy

Downloaded both the iPad and MAC app and paid for the 365 days conner anywhere in app purchase Hasnt worked once Cant even connect from within my own home network much less anywhere I did get a quick response from technical support admitting that there servers were overloaded from the initial surge of users What were they thinking would happen Poor planning cost me 1499 SAVE YOU MONEY AND TIME     Dont Waste Your Money or Time

This app is terrible Granted its inexpensive but it has never worked I sent tech support an email and was assured that an update would be forthcoming Ive seen nothing yet Dont waste your money     App doesnt work

Sure would like for the remote part to be free with restrictions like logmein has I dont want to shell out for a subscription just yet Want to take it for a test run like when Im on the road not on LAN The whole idea is to be able to get to my stuff while Im on the WAN in my mind at least That said for me it worked like a charm Even can use quicksilver via this apps virtual keyboard impressed I like all the features offered Just give us the remote access for free also if u will with caveats           Like it but

Id an extremely easy to use app thats lived up to the claim that it gets out of your way for incredible productivity The backspace skips and takes some practice getting around it I purchased a years worth of access for Air Connect but I havent been able to log in for about a week now Their servers have been offline and my password isnt working I cant seem to access the forgot my password site just to make sure This downtime might pass and Id like to know when it would be back Once their service is back online I would strongly recommend this app to anyone who wants to go completely mobile on their iPad or iPhone           Fantastic app when their servers are online

I love this app I use it often So I am dismayed that ever since getting my new phone iPhone 6 running iOS 802 the app crashes every time I try to use it I can select my computer and then I see connecting encrypting drawing and then it crashes In short this is an excellent and incredibly useful app but give it s pass until it gets updated again        Great App Except it Doesnt Work on iOS 8

Extremely useful for anyone who owns a Mac definitely a musthave Works flawlessly on my iPad 3rd Gen and iPhone 4S                 One of the best Apps Ive ever used

I gave this app a 1 star at its infancy I promised to rerate this app if it actually works and stable on iPad 2 As promised I added more star but it can be improved of course              More stars as promised

Air Login I almost ready to be my goto remote app The menu bar and app grid view are two of the standout features A few more mouse gestures and this will be my fivestar top choice for remot access              Almost there

It seems like Avatron put all their energy into the otherwise awesome iOS app and didnt put any care into the Air Connect daemon which is required to use Air Login On OS X every time you login to your desktop the Air Connect window always pops up Annoyingly Obtrusively and Totally Unnecessary considering that the only functionality it provides is for the connection of the iOS app Theres no reason that Id want to see a list of all the devices Im use to connect via Air Login at least not in a popup window whose appearance I have no control over        App is good but Air Connect daemon is horrible

I installed the app after a review on MacBreak Weekly and its awesome I have it installed on multiple computers and even purchased the 1 year subscription I had a question about running the app on a Standard account on OS X and they responded quickly and with a solution Highly recommended                 Great app w great support

Cannot believe how user friendly this app is Kudos to the amazing team who created it I use it almost everyday                 App of the century

I am a constant user of LogMeIn ignition and found it to be the best option to date for remote access Now after using Air Login I have no doubt that Avatrons app will replace Ignition in the near future Their attention to detail has made strengths out of other apps weaknesses It was an excellent choice to constantly display the Macs menu bar at the top of the screen I love everything about its feel from the layout of controls to the simplicity of use Even the keyboard is a welcome improvement over LogMeIns awkward design Air Login feels like it was designed the way a remote access app should be much how quality iOS app design was redefined by Tweetbot Evernote 5 Wunderlist 2 and Chrome sorry Safari Even though Air Login feels revolutionary this is still a 10 release and more evolution is needed ASAP Switching between open apps desktops and user accounts all failed or dont exist as an option It was unable to access a second user account and instead froze on the last screen of the first account The dock could not be accessed as the pointer reaches a limit a few pixels above the unhide activation zone Right now the app will not connect from my iPhone which is probably due to overloaded servers after Steve published the article above Growing pains aside I am very happy this app has seen its first release Avatron designed an app based on a real understanding of how people want and need to work Once it matures and scales past the issues above there is no question it will be worth the 1499year subscription price and a 5star rating              Design leaves competition in their dust

My job involves providing tech support for our busy company and its great to be able to get back to a couple key computers from anywhere using my iPhone or iPad Ive been using LogMeIn for the past several years and thats been fine but their pricing model is driving me to look elsewhere when my 6 month trial is over I had heard the hype regarding Screens and Screens Connect and thought that would be my replacement I was very disappointed to find that Screens Connect was just a front end to open ports on a router which I can do myself for personal networks but it does nothing for our corporate firewall and Screens itself was just a flashy looking VNC client that wont work under low bandwidth situations Im glad I found Air Login Not only does it look great it actually allows me to install a small client like LogMeIn and get to multiple computers behind our Firewall without port forwarding or worrying about DHCP assigned IPs The ability to switch between applications using their icons and having the frontmost applications menu bar appear at the top of the iPad app is great Ive not had any issues with Air Connect losing account information However I really hope they are able to support connections to computers at the log in screen This is my biggest request for an enhancement The only other item Id like to see addressed is the fact that the application switcher only shows the applications that are currently on the frontmost virtual desktop Id love to be able to see all items that are currently running on the computer              Provides Access Behind the Firewall

Horrible login on the daemon side Need to log in everytime comouter goes to sleep or even is in screensaver Not much use if i keep having tolog in everytime i need to use it Mouse scrolling is funny its more keen on zooming in than on scrolling 1 second lag for scrolling is very annoying Copared to windows RDP all ios VPN clients are a joke        They almost got it

Hi I really though I found it I bought this app and the yearly subscription Big waste of money Server has been down most of the time customer service states just a very few users are affected really come on from three computers and 8 iOS devices at home all of them have the same problems not being able to login or having to login overtime you turn on a device so no access to your Mac server mac mini when you are away from home Also advertisement sent is misleading making you buy some upgrade promising the holy grailwaste of time and money This kind of behaviour should b e ban here at the apple store Providers that promise something and dont fulfil the expectationspromises should be ban and money should be returned to the buyers just like that providers will learn that they have to act and be serious about doing business     Good idea but does not work and poor customer service

Without sound well just not enough value Dont mind paying for the application once But not a subscription requiring ongoing purchases        Potential but still no sound and companion app needs love

I deleted it It cant be used locally without creating an account with the developer Yet another free app that requires an account The details mention a free account but should be updated to make it clear it is mandatory even for local LAN use where you might not have Internet access from all machines     Provides no functionality without an account

Another polished Applequality app from Avatron Love the price ya cant beat free This is a really amazingly well polished app in a genre that tends to be kind of spartan where you need features yet bloated where you dont Other remoteaccess apps offer features like 16bit rendering and codec choice Seriously Those are implementation details I dont care how the app encodes the screen contents Just make it look nice and update the screen as fast as possible                 Awesome app

I really want to like it but I cant not quite yet The desktop app doesnt save username and password the getting started experience was buggy and slow for me Connections have been reliable on my home WiFi and the iOS app is awesome for controlling my Mac but getting started and keep using it is just too hard right now Ill keep trying and hope to update this review to more stars soon        Needs work but shows promise

Based on a good review on Macbreak Weekly I decided to try this app and the companion software for the mac First of all do not believe the statement on MBW that the IOS app is free This claim is made on a video on the developers web site as well and other review sites and obviously it is now 199 perhaps to cash in on the reviews I thought the feature of having the menu bar pinned on the screen seemed worth the cost so I took the plunge Learn from my mistake and save your money I was able to connect for a moment to my imac and then it dropped Now it is offline and nothing I do seems to bring it back I was able to get to my MacBook Air multiple times but that is not the machine I want to access Another time I have had to spend money to test an app and find it is not worth the cost When will I learn I am running 1082 on both machines and they are on the same wireless network with the ipad     save your money

The air connect software on my MacBook is just shotty software and it always has been making me log in every time I fire up my Mac And if I put my computer to sleep your forced to log out and then in again and since iOS 8 I cant even connect to my computer as it says encrypting and fails every time WiFi or LTE I would not recommend downloading this product until this is addressed Unless you like wasting money and or time     Used to be great since iOS 8 the fact I pay money for LTE freedom is downright insane

Air Login is great app Probably the best VNCscreen sharing type app I have used but I have stopped using it and cant rate it higher because the desktop companion application Air Connect is so lousy Air Connect doesnt save login details so every time the desktoplaptop machine is rebooted you have to login into your account again Its so annoying I gave it up Please fix it so that it saves login details and doesnt pester you with a popup window every reboot and then Ill start using this again           iOS App Great Desktop Client Not So Much

This is the first VNCish app that seems to give a flying crap about how easy it is to get stuff done Six stars                 Best remoteaccess app ever

I have used similar applications that are not great but at least they connect This app never connected and froze my iPhone 5 Looked nice though     Does not Work

I use Air Login to access my Mac from both my iPad and iPhone when Im traveling Its pretty fast although it can sometimes take 1530 seconds for the initial connection to take place Very pleased that they fixed the iPhone crash in 11 as my iPad doesnt have cellular only wifi                 Reliable and Pretty Fast

Useless for windows what a waste of time     If you have windows dont get this its useless

I use Teamviewer as well as Logmein but discovered that this little gem from Avatron really heads the pack The only disadvantage when compared with Teamviewer is that it is a paid app if you intend to control your computer through the internet with your iPhone or iPad Otherwise I assure you it really deserves a 5star rating for performance and ease of use I had a small problem with my iMac not remembering the password and I got a really quick reply from Avatron support to solve that problem A really really good buy And no I dont work for the developer Just a happy customer                 Fantastic app

This remote screen viewer has the fastest response time that I have seen compared to its competitors I also love the fact that you can see what devices are connected to the account it provides a means to ensure that no one else is hooking up to your Mac Logging in is a breeze compared to the other ones that I have tried              Hands down the best of its class

Rendering engine is amazingly good on those rare occasions it connects See iRichardvs review Same experience I worked with the support folks for almost a month before they vanished 2 stars for rendering That is all        I Tried But No Go

I dont write a lot of reviews but had to write one for this app Ive tried many other solutions and Air Login is the fastest simplest and most effective to use of them all I was pretty much ready to give up on the idea that I could use one of my devices to accurately control my computer remotely But I stumbled on Air Login and it is a true gem I highly recommend it                 Simple to Use and Very Effective

I wish this app came out sooner before I wasted money on iTeleport Easily lets me control my computer from other rooms of the house                 This is great especially for free

Its a new app That being said its incredible No doubt they studied the competition Between logmein and the others having an all Mac Eco system at home splash top is my go to But the menu bars here are amazing and crispy Everything is just Better Except TWO THINGS Re streaming video from my laptop to my ipad could be a little less stuttery Again the quality looks better than on any other of these remote log ins so ill be patient but the absolute deal breaker the reason the i still have splashdown installed in fact no sound redirection Without sound redirection it can never stand alone and let me uninstall the rest Im SURE it is coming and when it does it will be a five star app Also the free factor is ridiculous for that alone it would be five I just want the developers to read SOUND AUDIO NEED IT              So far so good

Beware With no recent update you may waste some cash on this one     Crashes in iOS8

The screen shots look pretty the installation works great but when you try to connect via WiFi on the same network its stalls at connecting there are other products that are a little less flashy and perform correctly the first time Sorry I love your other products but this one just fails at its MAIN goal of working     doesnt work unfortunately
