Simple straightforward app to assist in Bible verse memorization Select a verse or a series of verses and app removes random words and you fill in the blank with the first letter of the next word When you type the first letter app completes the word youre ready for the next word Get it wrong that word turns red you keep going You select the difficulty of the task anywhere from just a few words missing up to the entire verse Can repeat verses as many times as you want repetition repetition repetition Well done designers                 Perfect app for Bible verse memorization

This is a great way to memorize Bible verses Not only does it assist in the memorizing process it organizes the verses and effort so that one is encouraged to put in the effort I deleted one star because it apparently has no way of allowing a person to work on only part of a verse Some verses are so long the point of the verse is contained in only the beginning or the end If one could highlight the part of the verse to be worked on by touching the beginning of that portion and the end the app would be perfect              Great app

Having looked at andor tried most of the flashcard apps in the App Store to use for scripture memory the simplicity and design of this app is a breath of fresh air The app is simple a good thing and has a very clean designlayout thats right at home with iOS 7 Since its dedicated to memorizing Bible verses its better than generic flashcard apps in two ways 1 Its super easy to add verses especially if you use one of the builtin translations 2 The way you test yourself is kinda cool You specify a difficulty level which hides allsome of the words in a verse Then you type the first letter of the missing words It sounds pretty trivial but I found its actually more helpful with memorizing than just reciting the verse and looking to see if youre right If I had to request one feature it would be utilizing some type of spaced repetition algorithm when determining which verses to test you on That aside the app does what it advertises extremely well                 Simple and straightforward makes it a winner

This app is absolutely INCREDIBLE Ive been using this app for about six months now and if I could give it more stars I would give it the most I could Heres some of the things I LOVE about this app 1 Its free and they have never asked me to buy anything 2 They have never once asked me to write a review like nearly every other app does Thats why Im doing it now 3 It has helped me immensely in my goal of memorizing scripture One of my goals lately has been to memorize scripture and with this apps help I have memorized nearly 10 scriptures from sizes of one verse to five or ten This app works Thank you Bible Memory app for helping me reach my goal and come closer to God                 FANTASTIC

Everything I need except There are a few things Id love to see added A setting to set the difficulty for all the verses at once so you dont see the verse in the home screen or when you go to practice it A flashcard shuffle feature that would continue to give you random verses from your list to complete Additional filters ways to categorize the verses Some kind of progress tracker to see how many times youve perfectly completed each verse Some other stuff would be nice but the above would make it 5 stars for me              Just What Im Looking For

It serves the purpose of memorizing the verse though like any app I would like for it to improve and be more inclusive For example I would like to see that the difficulty level changes on its own as you try to type memorize the verse it seems it does it at the beginning but Im not sure how many tries it takes before it moves to the next level Also maybe the app could give the user a daily verse to learn Thanks for creating the app may The Lord bless you as you keep close to Him              I like it

I contacted support and got a quick response and fix for the issue I had You can customize your verse if you wish For instance add Aleph at the beginning of Psalm 119 Editing takes a bit of work but is a very nice feature The ability to make it harder or easier is also great                 Very nice app

Love this app Only downfall is that it doesnt have all the versions of the bible my favorite being NLT But it is still amazing So easy to use and I am learning verses like crazy Love it                 Great bible memory app

Really find this app helpful and I like that the ESV is available I agree that more error sound choices would be nice It would also be nice to be able to combine verses directly without having to go through the whole process of finding them again These are very minor though Highly recommend this app for aid in memorizing Scripture                 Very helpful
