Chronicle for iPad - A personal journal

Have kept a journal for yearsthis app fit the bill to finally switch to an electronic medium Format is simple easy to use and change printing options are adequate and backup options work great                 Excellent App

I use this app on my older IPad to log what I do each day on my creative hobbies like knitting I like the fact that a new entry is automatically todays date but also that it is easy to change that date once the entry is saved by editing and tapping the date I am still exploring the uploading to archive function so far I have the documents by month in an email              Simple and pleasing to use

I had previously written to the fact that the latest update at the time of my review had lost so many helpful features In this latest version every thing is as it should be                 Review update

This app is great for journaling I like that I can put in a passcode so it is not accessible to anyone who may pick up my phone I like that on each day I can start a new entry I also like that I can easily change the background color and font              Great app

Chronicle is a journal entry App I purchased it a week ago and it has exceeded all my expectations its just simply an Amazing writers toolbox that allows you to write stories keep a personal journal dated and you can upload your own photos to go along with your storyline or for illustration and its extremely userfriendly I use it more for NovelWriting and divide my work up into different stories by title and chapters One of the coolest features to top it all off is you can password protect your work for privacy Now I write all of the time Ive written more stories just by using my phone because of the convenience Its affordable easy to use and all the nice features make it inspiring for the Novice writer or the Pro HIGHLY RECOMMEND                 Chronicle

I use it as my diary log though I think it could be used as your primary word processing tool It has just about everything you need for writing and has never crashed froze or given me a lick of trouble I recommend it highly                 Chronicle is one fine writing app

This app has been great It has definitely been suiting my needs in a solid journaling app A few suggestions that would earn it the 5 stars 1 Allow for different colors in one journal entry Right now if you change the colors they all change You cant highlight and choose specific colors for specific parts 2 Id love to see the text and picture editor in the same screen Right now you have to edit your text and photos separate The photo integration is great but switching between can be a pain Its not the end of the world but Id like to see this all in one interface Other than that I highly recommend considering this app              Very solid app Definitely enjoying it

I have been using this app for quite some time and enjoy the simple approach it brings to journalling in a secure and effective manner I wish there was a Windows version of this as well so I could move and replicate between platforms though                 Simple Elegant and Easy to Use

I love this for a simple reason my hand writing is so poor And my texting or typing is very slow so I need to do more to get faster This app is a great way to remember my days Im at the tail end of my vacation and am trying to remember every thing Im glad to have it                 Trying to use more

So far so good I just wish you could make each page a different color Not talking about the cover I am talking about each page you journal in Maybe with the next update you will allow this option but for now I like what I am using Virginia              I like what I see

I was searching for the complete diaryjournal set and found one in this app                 Perfect

Simple clean plus functions                 Great app

In landscape the text takes up only half of the screen the left half and when you touch on the screen to write it looks like the screen is coming up and the cursor goes to the bottom instead of just land where you touched Also because of the red bar on top when u type there isnt much space to see your text especially in landscape Other than that its a really neat writing app Probably the best one Ive come across              Good app Needs some improvements

This is a very easy to use dated diary It is great for travel notes as well as collected thoughts Buy the inapp enhancement so you can keep multiple diaries so you will always stay on top of things                 East to use diary

Ive tried more journal apps than I can count and this is one of my favorites I love how I can make numerous journals to use for different things eg Quotes Poems Daily Journal etc I love that i can choose fonts and colors for each journal and I can export entries to my email etc The reason Im not giving it a full 5 stars is a common but frustrating issue I constantly face with most writing apps and thats the lack of flexibility when it comes to formatting text within each entry I cant stand this markdown stuff it does not come easy to me I cant stand not being able to easily bold italicize underline increase the font size change the color or change the case of a single line or word within each document Im still baffled as to why this is so hard to employ in an app when Rich Text Format is so standard across many other platforms              Great Journal App

Id LOVE to see the functionality added to the iPhone app that the iPad has The ability to change font and even being able to sync the two would be awesome for example I love the way entries are organized and the ease and flow of use Ive been using the iPad version for years Love it           Better on the iPad

I love this journaling app Its the best Ive used and Ive used many I like being able to have different notebooks for different things work vacations thoughts hobbies and include pictures The only thing missing is the ability to synch between iPhone and iPad That feature is quite important to me which is why I only rated four stars Otherwise its a fivestar app              Perfect except needs synching

I have used Chronicle since 2011 and I love it I love the fact I can love from my phone to my IPad I am not sure if I can use it on my Mac if I can that would make it even better I would definitely recommend this app                 Amazing Journal

This app is smooth simple and sophisticated It provides for an excellent writing experience I like having the ability to write in many journals to change the type faces and background colors and to fit photographs neatly into the text I appreciate having the dates appear in the column of entries however I would prefer even more to have a calendar picker that would enable me to select entries when moving quickly through the months In my opinion this app hs one serious limitation which is that although one can backup documents to the Dropbox one cannot export a document to dropbox and then import that item into the same app on a different device Backups are in txt or pdf form and can thus be imported into apps using accepting those formats however the Chronicles app itself will not except the txt or pdf files that have been exported by Chronicles on another device              Very good with a few things that need improvement

Have found this to be a great journaling app that lets me keep my days in order and lets me put in missed days and they are inserted in the correct order Questions to creator were quickly responded to and were very clear and easy to follow Would recommend to anyone                 Great App

Easy to use and very useful for personal journaling writing ideas quotes you would like to keep and a host of other things Highly recommend it Settings or another way to access FAQs or some instructions to get stared within the app would be very helpful                 Splendid

I just purchased the notebook feature of the app and I love it Now I can have a travel log which is main purpose plus other logs for journaling I hadnt used it in a while and was pleasantly surprised to see that the month and year are now displayed Thank you I would buy all options that were developed for this application                 Love this app

I really like this app and it provides what I was looking for in an app like this but there is one very important feature missing which will likely stop me from using it That feature is the ability to sync across devices              Great but

Ive been using this app for about five years and agree that backing is up leaves room for improvement You cant wirelessly export or import a backup onto a new device the only reliable way to back up is via iTunes I wish it had options to autocorrect and search Maybe in future updates              A little room for improvement
