Daily Notes +Todo

Might be a great app but I judge apps on if I can figure them out without reading the tutorials Thats my definition of intuitive and needs to be designed into any technology application This is not one of those apps especially paying for it although Im glad there are no ads        Not intuitive at all

Love this app and Ive checked out a lot of them Looks great on my iPad mini                 Great organizer

With iPad Air 2 the developer has yanked the cover and paper options Im very disappointed in that I used both the assist in organizing notes My review for the previous version was 5 stars Give me back my cover and paper options which by the way I had paid for as inapp purchases and Ill be willing to restore the other two stars This is my review from an earlier iOS version This is a pretty nice app I consider it worth the 499 investment The developers did an A job of capitalizing on all of the ipad screen display capability Its one of my power apps so much so that Ive assigned it to the iPad dock You can set up tabs that make sense for your world daily lifestyle and organizational style Part of setup includes color font etc I really like the feature that lights up the days left threemonth calendar pane the same color as the tab itself You can immediately spot the days with notes made on that particular tab I think of it as a very simple search Tags functionality also helps with search and being able to createdelete tags is very helpful It would strengthen the app if tags assigned to a note were diplayed on the notenot prominently but perhaps on the left end of the dateline just below the monthsdays in the same small muted manner as todays date on the right end Search function is a little cryptic but I may just need a little more practice with it The filter icons dont make sense They look like tiny martini glasses Oh duh Ill bet they are funnels Im starting to build up quite a few notes some of which are very important to me to be able to search effectively I sure wouldnt bad mouth the app on this one point alone I just need to work at getting my arms around the full power of the way the search has been crafted for this app Beware of export email function especially the PDF export I tried just emailing myself a set of notes and that worked pretty well The net result was as if I had opened my client and typed a message in the body ie formatting came across in tact However I also emailed myself the PDF version of the same set of notes as an attachment and a whole lot of quirky stuff was addedrearranged On first opening up that message This Adobe Reader caution was displayed Cannot extract the embedded font JFHZPJHelvetica Some characters may not display or print correctly My suspicion is it had something to do with the font style and font size I had selected for that particular tab Marker FeltThin Normal size           Useful BUT

I use this app every day to log my sales calls its quick and easy interface is really a great way to track my day Works as expected and has some features that I havent taken advantage of yet                 Great App

For the sake of sped I keep manual daily notes on a whiteboard notebook and then store photos of the notes under the appropriate day I manually enter key words and can search them later and review the photos for details Daily Notes works great for this purpose                 A Great Archiving Tool

I like using this app but I spend more time on my laptop than my iPhone or iPad would love to be able to synch across all three platforms              Need a Desktop Version

I love Daily Notes Its got many features that other apps dont and customization is great The most important feature is now open and responsive to feedback the dev team is Thats a very rare and wonderful thing and the biggest reason I support this app Its incredibly useful If theres something that I would change it would be to make the reminders and task lists more fully featured and functional Theyre rather bare bones as they stand but still helpful This app is the best of its kind out there That plus a kickbutt dev team make it a nobrainer If youre in need of a daily tasks and note keeping journal app this is the one you want              Best in class

I love the features of the app I use it as a daily log at work and to keep job notes from site visit If I could change one thing it would be that you could attach other types of documents other than just photos Then we would have a 5 star app              Great App

LOVE Daily Notes Have used for 34 years and put everything in it Had searched Journallike Apps for years and continue but nothing like this one Have been frustrated with Daily notes only since most recent update And update left me with old tabs and entries and whole new set of tabs rather syncing changes in update              Mjpies

For a paid app such as this it is extremely important to state your privacy policy up front Otherwise it should be assumed that you either process store or redirect through your servers or others Private Data that can be seen or broken into or hacked into by others Why dont you state your policy What do you have to hide     WHERE IS YOUR PRIVACY POLICY

I accidentally stumbled across this app browsing apps and installed it In no time flat I found myself using it incessantly and relying on it for reminders memory jotters recording ideas memorialize events and a menu of other things Easy well organized with more customizations than Ive ever seen paid version Im still in love with this app after 4 months of use                 Stumbled on it and fell in love

Right off the bat Id like to see a Time listed on my tasks if I designated time Also Id like to be able to change tasks to a larger font On an iPad mini those letters are really small              Nice But

This is the best notetaking app I have found I love the search tab and tag options and the integrated task note and calendar functionality I use this app extensively                 excellent app

Ive contacted cust support 6 times and all I get is a robo response This app crashes on my iPhone and iPad I guess once you buy the app they dont care if it works     CRASHES

This app can get a whole 5 stars IF THEY FIX THEIR AUDIO I need to be able to play pause the audio that I record but I cant because I cant even find the source of where to control the media anymore after I start typing PLEASE FIX THIS I payed a lot of money for an app I need it for school Thank you           NEW UPDATE PLEASE

Working at Motorola my life there had to be totally organized So much so they sent employees to a Time Management class and gave the students all the tools to not only manage their life at work but also their personal life I retired from Motorola after 30 years as an Engineer After taking a 6 month vacation I went to work at a county government position as a Microsoft Access programmer and retired after working there for another 16 years Technology changed from writing on paper to taking digital notes so I changed with it But it was not that easy because the paper version of my old reliable Time Management System was not available in digital format I have purchased several note taking calendar journal apps looking for something I could customize into what I was looking for Each program had its pros and cons So back to iTunes I went looking for another program I found Daily Notes the reviews looked promising so I bought it Needless to say I was a little leery at first until I realized the potential this app had in developing what I was looking for Thanks to the custom tabs and all the other great features this program offers I now have 4 programs in 1 a Time Management program a Note Taking program a Daily Journal and a Calendar program Needless to say I love this app it has really changed my life I am 68 and my life is completely organized thanks to this fantastic program If I have a question about something I always get a personal response back from someone Keep up the Excellent job                 Great Organizing Tool

I have been using Daily Notes app for about two weeks and I have a good report I am finding it easier to write journal entries diary more often I also use the notes during a workrelated workshop to write information and take notes I have not used the other features yet but I am satisfied with the ones I have used                 So far so good

Daily Notes earns five stars This is one of the few apps I use every day I recommend the ipad version but want the iPhone for checking on tasks This app works great as a journal a business manager a task manager a project managerso many things you can do For me it helps me manage all the different hats I wear keeping all my project tasks and their deadlines manageable and the beautiful interface is easy to use and pleasurable to look at Customizeable for colors of your portfolio as well as each labelwhether thats a project or a book oragain so many ways to use this app I think youll be happy with it And the people behind the scenes have always been very responsive to user suggestions Fabulous app                 Fabulous App

I use this app a lot for things in my life that I consider important I cannot recommend it enough I love the syncing between different tools I do wish theyd consider a PC or web version that would allow me to review my data there Keeps getting better and I appreciate that Keep making it better and better                 Still a really great and important practical app that I use regularly

There are many features it has but the instructions are minimal How to make outlines How to edit the date Some functions are not explained Great App though Now for the phone too and I hope it syncs well This is from an old version Im going to use this as that notepad that I always want next to the phone but cant find For little snippets I can use notes and it syncs to all my devices I hesitate to start with this one since it has no way to sync to other devices Maybe a small App for the iPhone to input notes for later and an ability to read what is in there Hmm if Apples notes App would make tags i could have info ready to input Well i could put in a tag as a search term and it has a search option Or how about an email address to send text to as they have in evernote Then the text is in emails waiting for me to organize when i open up the App Not syncing to other devices is a big missing piece Also as another user noted being able to highlight text in colors would be great Yes too bad drawings have to be on another page If it could be viewed as another note next to the text page that would help Now for the export options if I only have a bit of text in each one Well it exports to PDF only and each page takes up a whole page even if there is only a line or two of text It should export the text as they show up on the search page if they dont take up a page Or give us some option to export the text itself to input somewhere else I like the ability to recall what day I made the notes and to tag them which is great for those phone conversations where I take notes and then lose them Its nice to be able to search and also to navigate with a calendar I have no desire to import my entire calendar into this app I think the beauty of apps is I have different ones for different purposes and I can access the info quickly But since info is in different apps then it is essential to have good export options The icon is so dark I cant read the name of the App              Needs more help info

An awesome feature not noted by developers is that because Evernote is twoway sync you can email something to your Evernote account and put in the email subject line Daily Notes Notes or whichever tab you want to useand the entire email will forward to that tab Sweet                 They Dont Tell You

Ive had this one for a while now Its better than OneNote I use it for everything from meetings to classes and just keeping track of stuff Bonus points for all the color customization I can do Excellent app                 Amazing App

Even better with iPhone integration I had stopped using this app for a while because I was trying to find a substitute with iCloud sync I couldnt find anything that worked as well and now with the iPhone part fixed its back to being my favorite Heres my earlier review This is the first organizer that Ive used consistently for more than a few weeks I love being able to keep separate task lists for each folder but also see a consolidated list I have a different color for each folder and the consolidated lists shows the tasks by the color of the folders It is easy to add new tasks update them set reminders or delete them The journal pages work well for taking notes in meetings At the end of the meeting I can email them to my client work account to get them ready for follow up or posting as meeting minutes The search through journal pages means I can look up the notes I took on a topic very easily The days in the calendar are highlighted when they have content saved on the journal pages When Im planning for a meeting coming up in a few days I can click on the day of the meeting and start up a journal page with the agenda and add to it as I think of topics I need to cover On the day of the meeting I have all my ideas in front of me Final bit of recommendation is all three of my coworkers that have iPads have bought this app after seeing me use it                 Best organizer now with iPhone task integration

Since buying my first iPhone Ive slowly accumulated close to 50 notes in the default yellow Notes app It contained everything from hymn lyrics to gardening tips to airline reward numbers to meal plans I finally decided to sit down and see if there was something better in the app world that would allow me to group my notes by topic DailyNotes is exactly what I was looking for Imagine actually having a clear way to remind myself of the topic I made a note for to remember in the first place Before that they were written down but too buried in the growing list of unabletobeorganized notes for me to stop and sift through Thank you creators                 My dream come true

This app does it a all Keeps track of everything from my work projects to daily personal reminders Very easy to use and I really like being able to email from right in the tab Im working in Highly recommend                 Love this app

Disappointed This is a pretty expensive app for me and it does not live up to its description Cannot find any way to password protect access to app as stated App opens directly into last tab used which allows anyone who picks up the phone to open app Cannot pause and resume recording that I can figure out No way to delete a recording without deleting the whole page Lost a dhole days worth of notes by trying to delete the recording The voice recorder works great good clarity on playback But not functional for me Too bad they dont have a free version to try out first But maybe thats why           Ok

Loved this app Used it for years survived all the latest hiccups but iCloud sync takes way too long and I find it unreliable              Not reliable iCloud syncing

This is one of the successful notebook apps that can take care of everything you need to keep in a dateformat A single Notebook for the different facets of your life It would be great if it also synced across to my laptop Many applications do that and it would be a huge enhancement for Daily Notes                 Does it all
