They finally got the real news of the print edition Now if they had the resources they could make it useful like the NYTimes app for navigation instead of basically a straight scan of the news print edition Much better but I ll stay with my beloved PAPER print edition and check back in 6 12 months hoping for a real solution         Content great Navigation mediocre QuickCardo

The latest app revision introduced a major problem It is now almost impossible to scroll up on the screen to see the bottom of the page in landscape mode This new app version instead either pages back or forward a page It s nearly uncontrollable This happens on two iPad s Pro in our household It s infuriating It takes us twice as long to read paper Gannett is trying to convince customers that they ve gone digital Not Fix the bugs     Hard to scroll up without app paging forward or backward duny2012

This D C app is absolutely awful It is very user unfriendly completely unwieldy to negotiate and never recognizes me as a subscriber Come on D C get into the 21st century You are charging us for digital access so you need to improve your app     Worst news app Dissatisfied D&C subscribe

I like this app because I enjoy reading the paper like the print version complete with ads My eyes are bad so being able to zoom in and out is great Some suggestions 1 The second part of an article is often missing the link to go back to the first part So once I jump I m then forced to slowly page my way back Consistency here would be good 2 It forces me to log in again far too often Once a month is reasonable 3 It is slow to load a page and if I try to zoom in before the page has fully loaded it gets stuck and doesn t resolve the image fully             Needs work GNorth1961
