Organize and review all your documents quickly and efficiently, create production sets, and Bates stamp all your documents with the best document review app on the App Store: DocReviewPad Lit Software has set the bar ...
This worked when I bought it Now all docs that I attempt to export or upload or email are blank upon receipt or fail to upload entirely     Fails to export upload or email henrismith
I m happy they beta fixed the issue The developer is responsive I ll give them another chance Update 7 31 2017 After reviewing 200 pages of documents and making notes the app crashed All of my notes are gone This app is a piece of garbage     Crashes Ryan McKeen
I bought this app thinking that it would be a one stop shop for the function of Notability and the organization aspect and integration of TrialPad Unfortunately that is not the case Using the Apple Pencil is almost worthless There is no palm rejection handwriting looks like it was drawn with a mouse instead of a pen and it consistently lags behind the Apple Pencil I use TrialPad and it may very well be the best trial client presentation app available DocReview Pad Not so much I can still integrate my handwritten notes from Notability exported as PDF into Trial Pad but I was hoping to be able to use DocReview Pad for this same purpose The handwriting aspect makes that impossible I gave it 3 stars because I see the potential but the advertising and reviews written about this app are misleading when it comes to the Apple Pencil and handwriting capability Here s to hoping I can get a refund of the 90 I spent only to find out Notability is better             Good idea but still not perfect Pdt410
I use this app as a companion piece to TrialPad especially for larger cases with a lot of documents This app helps me keep the documents organized bates stamps them and create issue codes e g Past medicals contradiction IME etc which can then be generated into an easy to read report I love this company s software and look forward to their next product                     Help keeps my docs organized and annotated Figggaro
After a little over a month The app just crashed and I lost all my data The app won t start now This needs to be fixed ASAP     Crashed FSUJester
I really wanted to like this app because there are so few options for this sort of thing and the idea is fantastic But I sit here having just lost an entire day s worth of work because the app crashed without any of my highlights tags etc being saved The app is very unstable and crashes a LOT There are also too few options for exporting items and printing reports which makes the ability to create customized issue codes much less useful what do you do with them I might give this app another try in the future but for now it s already cost me more than a full day of productivity     Really wanted to like this app Jason Incognito
This ap has matured and gotten better with each update adding features and useful improvements I used it to revew hundreds of documents for a client highlighting and adding issue codes to pages along the way At the end it generates a professional report with all the bates numbers listed and exports to TrialPad into folders anmed for the issue code Expensive but extemely useful and cheaper than any desktop option                     Useful Redlaw9
I finally purchased DocReview Pad to complete my suite with Trial Pad and Transcript Pad This app can do things I ve previously had to do on a desktop PC but now it s so much easier and faster And I can do it at home The screens match the other apps so it felt familiar right away and I was reviewing hundreds of documents on my new iPad Pro immediately I ve never been able to assign bates numbers so easily in sequence and not obscured by anything behind them like when I put them on a photo And it exports straight to Trial Pad with the annotations I made using the Apple Pencil which is so accurate for redactions and highlights and sorted into folders based on the issues I assigned which now can be assigned to individual pages in a document My hesitation was because of the price but this is so much less that what we were paying for desktop software                     Finally Purchased JulieLawyer
Bought this app expecting to use only with small document review production cases Expect it can handle larger doc reviews too but it has one severe limitation there is no redaction tool and the limited annotation tool is not a viable work around Fix might be as simple as adding a black color to the highlighter if it is truly opaque I use TranscriptPad and TrialPad and look forward to this tool being more functional                 Good start needs redaction tool O'sFan13
This is a good solid app which is consistent with TrialPad and TranscriptPad it does the legwork of document organization by Issue and otherwise is very useful for document management I uploaded a reasonably large document database in a case which is going to trial in a month as a test and was able to blow through the documents and get them organized in short order Well worth the money                 Good app without useless bells and whistles Islandman166
Jgreenatty summarizes the significant and numerous problems with this app Another problem issue coding is limited to the document itself Unlike Transcriptpad which allows issue coding across the transcript document Docreviewpad only allows you to assign the issue to the document itself If you are working with a document that makes multiple references to a particular issue in two or more locations you re out of luck there s no way to account for this in the app Instead you have to open the document and scroll through it to find the relevant material And this problem is exacerbated if the document is of any length Even a simple bookmark system would be a meager but vast improvement I m extremely disappointed with the app It s not worth anything close to the purchase price of 89 99 so don t bother     Don t bother Dmiller7
Super way to review docs quickly I ve been able to flick thru hundreds of documents and assign issue codes Just wish i didn t have to apply bates numbers when i import but the developer said they re doing an update to deal with that Makes a tedious and complicated job fast and easy                     I ve been waiting for an app like this 5Counsel
While TranscriptPad and TrialPad are valuable applications for trial lawyers this app should never have been released It is unstable and frequently crashes There is no option to import a document without bate stamping it Once bate stamped there is no way to change the numbering system It does not interface with open in with mail dropbox etc When annotating the ability to repeat annotations sometimes functions and sometimes does not When moving to a new page repeat annotations has to be reselected In short this app is of limited value and for its price more resembles an Alpha release than even a Beta release Hopefully it will get better down the road but this version has lots of problems     Wait for the next version Jgreenatty
