I am mostly pleased with this thesaurus application I enjoy the interface that they have used here and the application appears to offer a wide spectrum of English words and other resources There are some things that I would like to see improved such as offering an antonym section for each wordphrase entry As it stands now I have noticed that some entries only offer a synonym section The main reason that I purchased this application was for finding antonyms to words Yet without being able to find an application dedicated solely to antonyms well I believe that this will have to suffice for my needs at the moment The application offers a History section and the what I consider to be very important Favorites function But beyond all of the things that I have mentioned The application passed with a high grade on the sole fact that it does not contain the words irregardless or addicting I would suggest that if you download a so called dictionary or thesaurus that contains either of those words Well you would be wise to delete the application and move on in my opinion Then proceed to find a dictionary application that was authored by someone who has a genuine grasp of the English language and does not fill their dictionary or thesaurus with words that they have found on the Internet That is just my two cents if you value sounding educated when you speak or write              Robust But Does Not Always Offer Antonyms

App freezes at opening screen Dont bother downloading it Update did not help either Update But deleting it and reinstalling fixed it From 1 to 4 stars now              Did not get past opening screen

It almost always renders long lists of synonyms and offers both idiomatic phrases and flags with actual flags American and British synonyms                 Extensive Content plus Idoms

This app is a vast improvement over a paper edition BTW not every word is going to get ten to thirty words and phrases returned but most words do get at least ten              Everyone Should Own This

This is a great app very useful Its probably my mostused app and my goto source for the right word or phrase                 Near Perfect

But no matter how stylish and attractive it still appears to be a pig with lipstick My first test of the app was to look up stellar The results were to sum it up less than stellar In fact since Im informed that stellar is related to the stars astral is the only word it really offers up Content is king in reference programs like this so unless you want a lightweight app that is at least aware that friend can currently used as a verb Id look elsewhere The app is better than most with jargon and recognizing phrases like friend in high places But the content returned for that query is parrotlike Trendy it is of a dozen apps it was the only one that knew that fred can refer to a friendly interface computer science A few other apps suggested Frederick One app no this one pointed out that its a nickname by aircrews for the Lockheed C5 Galaxy which if youve ever seen one fly right over your head you would be amazed it is one stellar sized airplane like 2nd largest I think But OK stellar is just for astral stuff Forgot that And if you rely on this app you might too        Really wish I could rate higher

Like previous versions this is by far the best online Thesaurus Ive found I use it countless times every time I sit down to write I particularly like the favorites option for words I use regularly As a writer of a marriage blog Ive saved words like reconcile and squabble The list of options is far ranging enough that I almost always find the word I need Slang options are great too I also appreciate that I can search for phrases like get along or give up                 A writers best friend

I didnt purchase every thesaurus available in the App Store when I bought my first iPad but I did buy five And for those five that had inapp purchases for legal medical etc upgrades I purchased all of them Of all of the thesauri purchased though this is the best that Ive tried There isnt another that I would honour with five stars If you only need one rocksolid thesaurus you cant do better than this gem from Word Magic                 Best iOS Thesaurus that Ive found

I use dictionaries especially thesaurus frequently I truly like the definitions Americans use as well as the British use Its interesting knowing how we apply words intermittently I especially like the fact you know precisely whether the word is regularly used or seldomly used et Just about everything is added Idiomsd antonyms synonyms more Ive not seen a single likewise app anything like this app The only drawback that I have is the pronunciation of the word Ive searched You have twooptions you can listen and hear how the word is said Or you can read its pronunciation which is extremely difficult Im Deaf I must rely on the written pronunciation of searched word Sometimes I understand it When I do not understand it I will open up a different dictionary learn from that without problems All in all this is an excellent dictionary thesaurus et Developers obviously have true to form talent for words related to just about everything known to humankind I sincerely hope the developers update their apps every now and then They can certainly benefit from such and continue to improve their exceptional skills Thank you for developing apps that truly assist as well as benefit me                 Its got it all then some more

There may be a more expensive Thesaurus out there but this is comprehensive enough for all but the most sophisticated use It is quick and easy to access the synonyms and to follow a thread This is one of my most useful apps                 Useful and comprehensive

The idiom and phrase search is pretty unique Design and layout is nice My issue is that the never mix meaning and connotation feature causes problems in finding similar or related words Another thesaurus lists for red words like vermilion crimson cardinal ruby maroon carmine etc None of these is listed in this app Would be nice to have a related feature for each word in a future release Without that at the moment this app is more suitable for ESL people than writers or poets or songwriters              Does what it says which has its limits

The app is easy to use I enjoy clicking on the synonyms to find new words But the word options are pretty short Whats another word for short Slim Paltry It needs more words and a more complex vocabulary           Easy to use small vocabulary

Gives very few synonyms For example when I entered elegiac the only synonym it gave me was elegiacal Usually gives way more antonyms than synonyms Any good thesaurus should give you a wide variety of synonyms not just a few        Dumbeddown not very useful
