With FabricStash you can keep your entire stash, no matter how big, in the palm of your hand. It s easy, just snap a photo of your fabric, enter as many details as you d ...
You need to add scanning the UPC code of the item or fabric it would make it a lot faster for us busy people to add all of are stuff        Add
Great idea but crashes way too much Hope the bugs get worked out really soon           Grandmother
I am entering my first project which is easy It seems like it will be a good tool for keeping track of my projects I would like the app to collect all project info save and then print for my project journal I do not think that is possible I am also experiencing the app crashing when I try to save fabric to a project I will try using this and review again later           First Impression
Every time I try to add anything it closes Waste of time and money     Doesnt work
I can enter the information but was able to add only one picture The instructions are nil It is free but has a big cost in aggravation        Fabric Stash Blueshift Software
I like the idea behind the software and having all my fabric available virtually is awesome Just started uploading last night I am having difficulty with the back up feature              Backup
I have two suggestions for the next update of this app First please add a Designer category for fabric entries Id like to group all of the fabrics designed by say Denyse Schmidt who has several lines and designs for a couple different manufacturers Second please create an option to change the font on the home menu or better yet just change it It would look much more polished with a better font something more standard and less kitschy Bradley Hand is widely considered one of the worst fonts its up there with Comic Sans Otherwise the application is very handy              Needs Designer category and better font
Love the idea of this app Works well enough but I how do you delete entries I am experiencing some crashes when entering project info please fix Something I paid this much for shouldnt be this clunky to use Ways to improve 1 Add customizable colors I can delete burgundy but want to add teal 2 Have a date enter automatic to help with what fabric you owned the longest 3 Make deleting fabric and projects easy as once I complete a quilt the fabric is no longer in my stash Overall this app would be too time consuming to enter my entire stash but I find it useful to photograph those key fabrics for a few projects that I am shopping for so I have them with me at all times I am interior designer so I plan to keep fabric notes on design jobs with it as well        Fabric Stash
Love the idea of this app but it crashes with every add Please fix        Crash
Why hasnt there been an app update since 2010 Did the developing company go under I really like the concept of this app but it crashes every single time I use it It will not create a backup because it crashes when I am on that screen It crashes when I am adding fabric details I feel ripped off I know that not all apps are great but I at least expect them to work Wish I could get my money back DO NOT BUY THIS APP     Needs a lot of work
I have enjoyed using this app to keep track of which patterns I own I have also input all my machine embroidery thread colors This comes in handy when at the store and wondering which ones I have Like others I would like to be able to customize some fields for projects It has crashed a few times usually when taking a picture from within the app Overall I really like this app but would like to see some useful updates              Good tool
App crashes frequently please fix but so far has stored everything Ive added Crashes before completing backupnot sure what backup does specifically Standard iOS functions are easy to use swipe to delete tap field to enter new valuecolorweight Great photography based reference with lots of searchable details to add and custom project collections are awesome              Great utilitarian app crashes a lot
This would be a great app if it wouldnt crash pretty much every time I open it        Crashes too much
Added two fabrics and oh the annoyance of the freezing up of the system I dont think it should be used for iPhone 6 Forget it     Just purchased
I am enjoying this appI have not used every feature but I think the app has some good features that could be made even better              App review
I love the fact that I can track my fabric stash and take with my what I have to the store                 Love this app
Save your 400 This app does not save your fabric photo next to its title which essentially renders all your work to enter info worthless When I use backup it closes out the app and my fabric photos are all deleted Im calling my credit card co to complain and get my refunded because this app is of no use and a waste of time     I shouldve listened to crash reviews
I picked up Fabric Stash a while ago to see if it would be as useful as the scratchbuilt database Id developed for the same purpose and have spent some time transferring my data into the app It seems a bit unfair to critique it based on not being as powerful or as customized as the one I created from scratch which is a bit awkward to carry around on the phone In terms of a quick and easy way to check on whether you already have 10 yards of peacockblue wool flannel when youre standing there at the sale table its exactly what I needed It would be very useful to be able to rename the existing data fields or add new fields The app seems to be designed for a very specific type of craftsperson perhaps a quilter For example I have no use for the manufacturer field but find it useful for place purchased Similarly Im not sure what line was intended to be used for but am using it for fiber content which seems a rather glaring omission Im looking forward to the ability to synchronize data between the iPhone and iPad Theres really no point in having both apps without synchronization although Ive picked up the iPad version in anticipation of this update Im not going to dump my custom database since I use it to track past project usage as well as current inventory Fabric Stash doesnt really deal well with the idea that a single inventory item might be intended for multiple projects or that one might want to keep a record of it even after theres nothing left in inventory But as an onthego list of what I currently have in stock its very useful              Quite useful could use customization
Id like to give this app 5 stars but the other reviewers are right It crashes on about 23 of my entries on an iPhone 4s Certain fields such as Notes seem to be especially vulnerable I am still using it and love that I can track my fabrics It would be nice to have a vendor field to track where the fabric was purchased and maybe a field for the manufacturers code for the design I remain hopeful that the bugs can be fixed in a future update If not I will have to try to create my own database           Promising but buggy
This is a really handy app I make fabric crafts for sell and have to keep up my fabric stash I use it when in the store to keep track of the fabric and take pics of the labels Luv it                 Oh so handy
It is easy to use and it feels great to get so organized at your fingertips                 Love it
A very useful app though similar in function to another that is free I am having the same issue as others who report it crashing in my case its after Ive added a fabric and click the fabrics button to go back and enter a new one at that point rather than taking me to my fabric list it dumps me out of the whole program I would also like a separate field for naming the fabric designer           Pretty good useful needs upgrading
It needs a serious bug fix I used it for about 10 minutes and it crashed 4 times Thats not productive otherwise it seems to be very cool I havent been able to use it consistently without it crashing to comment on anything else        It could be Greatbut
If it were linked to the cloud If it didnt lose all my entrys If it didnt kick me out WORK ON IT PLEASE IT WILL BE A DREAM COME TRUE I Love to carry it to the fabric stores on my iPad and match fabrics HURRY WITH THE FIXES PLEASE        WOULD BE WONDERFULIF
The app frequently kicks you out when saving adding fabric amount attempting to search I like the fact that it has fat quarter option in size of fabric Once they get the bugs out I think it will be great It would be nice if it worked with iCloud to share on my devices
I first purchased the XL version it did not work I lost 499 on that app so it took me a lot to by this version I have entered a dozen notions with pics so far it is working good I am pretty happy so far              Good app
Love the concept of this app but it crashes every two minutes which makes using it rather frustrating           Great concept bad performance
Great resource to keep visual inventory of stocked fabric for current for projects clients etc Must say that such a basic idea has been missing from the framework of more complex interior design apps wtc Providing the basics only has its benefits in providing focus on an element often overlookedHowever I agree that in its mere simplicity the app lacks substantial qualities that dont seem difficult to add Ie yardage measurement for projects stockyard for specific brand or labela more UNdepth categorization of such textiles according to color pattern textureor designer Given the fact that so many other creative apps are accessible for free I look forward to seeing further expansion on an even bigger opportunity to harness creativity spike memory and provide inspiration among all creatives in their endeavors              Great but
So far I like it for what I want to do Spellcheck doesnt seem to self correct It seems to crash sometimes but I cant seem to pinpoint if its the same thing I do every time or just a random crash Lets hope the developers keep this app going for us Thank you              Pretty handy
This app crashes consistently after putting in measurement units I live in fear of losing the timeconsuming amount of information I enter Would love to have a pattitone chart so I could get the correct color Would also love if the info in the iPad version automatically updated to the iPhone version like Evernote           Fabricstash
First I wish reviewers would state two things 1 What device are you using Im using an iPhone 4S 2 What is your purpose for this app Im a hobby quilter trying to save a little by not buying fabric if I have something in my stash that will work For this purpose this app is perfect Other needs This app may not have all the functionality needed but Im very pleased for my requirements I dont need all the fields available so Ive customized some of them What I need is a quick way to locate what I have on hand by yardage and color from my several hundred fabrics stashed Heres how I use this app 1 Take a clear photo 2 Enter the yardage in the name field such as 1 5 675 etc The yardage will then show next to the picture in list view 3 Enter the primary color or the color I would need to eliminate Exa A primarily white fabric with black design is black 4 Enter the style for searches striped floral batik etc Or I tap in that field and add my own 5 Use the other drop downs for secondary colors tap in the field and add whatever you want 6 Use the width only for other than 42 widths 7 I dont fill in the yardage its in the Name field 8 I use the notes to specify if its part of a collection has a flaw whatever is unique Done 2 minutes tops When I need to see what I have I search on the primary color and look for the yardage I need and decide if it will work Maybe I have 50 of a color but thats okay Its still a quick search If you have 1000s first Im jealous and second this wouldnt be the best system Its fine for me Ive used this app for several hours straight and its never crashed Havent tried the Projects yet and probably wont Dont need it for that I will add Aurifil thread colors on hand Im providing this detailed review because I almost didnt buy this app due to the poor reviews Sure am glad I invested 5 in it as Im certain it will save me as I use whats on hand that will work rather than buy new                 Perfect for my needs
I reluctantly bought this app since it was 499 I hoped it would work without too many bugs If it was updated a bit I would give it 5stars I was expecting it to work a little better since it was mentioned in a quilting magazine I like being able to file the pictures electronically and figure out what I need have at a moments notice I havent gone online yet to see if iTunes can backup to view files on my computer Hopefully I can use this with my quilting files on the computer Ive only been able to use Fabric Projects once and there is no place for pictures of a finished project It usually kicks me completely out of the app I would like to see a report section so I could see how many fabrics I have and then a way to sort and breakdown how many colors manufacturers designers and types of fabrics I have I hope you take this app seriously If it were updated I would recommend it to my quilting friends and guild Thats a lot of women           Fabric Stash
I was thrilled to find this app it will help me keep my growing fabric collection organized It was easy to transfer the photos of my fabric from my camera to my Ipod Touch I also like that I can keep two views of the fabric for each sample this enables me to keep a closeup and a wider view However I cant seem to add fabric to a project from the stash I have to go back to the photo library for the fabric shots This seems to be a logical and step saving use of the stash Thanks great app Update app keeps crashing              Useful app for sewers and quilters
I love the idea of this app but I just feel it could be easier sleeker more indepth Like having an overall top icon menu with your fabrics shown in their color groups for example to more easily glance over them instead of the long scrolling big icon list Like Id love ways to group my fabric besides color family like arrange pleasing fabrics together into style groups I intend to use in a project or giving them sub groups Looking forward to an update as its been almost 2 years thanks           Good but needs an update
Im giving this app 3 stars in hopes the crashing issues can be resolved Great for adding fabric although it crashes when I go to enter a new fabric However I cant seem to add a project This could be a fabulous app with a few bug fixes and some fine tuning           Good but needs work and repair
Great app for keeping track of my fabrics and the projects the are part of I have been kicked completely out of the app several times It also took a little bit of searching to figure out how to delete a fabric or project not intuitive but simple once you know Look forward to new enhancements and fixes but adequate for the price           Great App for Tracking Fabric Stash
Great concept and lovely idea but it wont allow me to take pictures directly from the app If I choose option it freezes Suggestions        Keeps Freezing
Like the other reviews this has great potential as you can add your own photos and notes but it crashes if youre in it more than 2 minutes           Good but could be great
I like how it sorts and you can put pictures but it crashes a lot I can put maybe two entries than it would crash Wish they would put a complete button on the projects and who it maybe for line Please fix the bugs and update the app so its better           Good but no
App has great functions but crashes after only a minute of use Please please fix Should not be a paid app until its fixed     Crashes terribly
This is a great way for me to keep track of all my fabric but it does crash frequently Worth the money though to not have to drag fabric samples with me I can take a picture of the actual fabric for Picture 1 and the sku for Picture 2 which helps fabric store staff chase down yardage for me Buy but beware it WILL crash              Amazing App but Needs Work
This is a great app in theory but it has some bugs It keeps crashing on me But I love that I can store fabric notions and patterns to see what I have on hand Great app but you could make it soooo much better              Love the concept Work on an update
I bought this app to use for fabric but quickly found another use for it as well I have taken pictures of all of my patterns and entered them under nonfabric items This is a godsend because I didnt have another way to find a pattern quickly I havent gotten all of my stash entered and it will be a while But anything new that comes into the house gets entered before I put it away I use this on my iPad and really have never had it crash Works fine so far I noticed that those reviews that complained of crashing were written several months ago so maybe that problem was fixed with updates              Love this app
Was excited to find an app to catalog my fabric stash and this looked promising But this app has so many bugs that it hung up half the time I used it Disappointed The Fabric Stash app has not been updated since 2010 so apparently it doesnt work with the current OS version Dont recommend spending your time or money on this app     Wish it worked
Really like apBUT since I updated to iPhone six my camera no longer works Please help I cant add material without pictures           Wheres my camera
Could be a great organizational tool but crashes every time I input a fabric making it take twice as long as it should Please fix           Please Fix But great in theory
I was exited to purchase this app but I am very disappointed A 5 app should not crash this frequently should be able to complete the backup I have tried 15 times it has crashed everytime and I am without a backup I am hoping there will be a fix for this soon     Needs work
Love the idea but the app kicks me out a lot Recently it has started not showing my fabric pictures even though they are saved A little frustrating           Good but kicks you out a lot
The good Im really enjoying getting my fabrics organized as I buy them Im also chipping away at the fabrics I have on hand but dont always have all the info on the salvage to enter in the fields but can at least have a picture The sorting feature is great when you are looking for specific colors or patterns for a project The not so good It crashes every single time Im entering a fabric when I hit the location button It does save everything Ive entered to that point but I have to reopen the app and finish entering the rest of the information for that fabric Every time Its so annoying Why dont they fix this and do an update This is the only reason I cant give it 5 stars              Good but
Would be a great useful app if the information stored didnt get deleted all the time     Disappointed
