Cant believe I paid 500 bucks for an app but I did havent regretted it one bit Only suggestion is a back button once in a folder You have to go all the way back to browse and then the location and then your back Way to many steps Just add a back button                 The bomb

This is the only app I know of for iPads that allows me to look at files on other computers servers and cloud instances                 Great app

Im not sure why this app only has a three star rating It works as advertised and the video works fine in both landscape and portrait mode Unlike most apps Chromecast works great The updates nearly always brings awesome new features                 Excellent App

For access to my local NAS and Dropbox this app is great I use it constantly to move files between the NAS and my iPad or iPhone copying movie files before extended travel and as a better file management tool than the Dropbox app copying and moving to different folders within Dropbox and between Dropbox and iOS device or the sever This all enables a bunch of workflows that would otherwise require a computer or significantly more work Aces                 Indispensible

Well worth the money I have been looking around for the right app to access my desktop from different areas in my apartment even on my porch or balcony for weeks I decided on this app and I am extremely satisfied I can listen to all my iTunes music and transfer my files photos videos music documents you name it to my iPad Recommend it                 Love this so much

really a perfect file manager app I think it misses somes features though file extension to get files from other apps and save back to it sync folder tools to update folder sync automatically with smbftp servers                 perfect file manager app

This is a great app for streaming movies from a network drive This app lacks chapter markers and movie cover art though              File Browser

The new design is good however I dont like the controls at the bottom of the screen for video playback should move it back up to where it was before the update or give the user a choice in preferences Also playback is not always smooth sometimes videos pause themselves and the user must manually get them to start playing again        Please move video controls back to top

I have connections to my work servers and to my Mac at home Connects to these resources with one tap Very reliable No more emails to myself to get photos and screenshots onto my machines                 Very helpful connectivity

They continue to roll out GREAT updates And now theyve added the one Ive been waiting for increasing playback speed on videos The filebrowser guysgals behind this are the absolute best Definitely an app thats worth every penny                 Amazing App with continued great updates

I love this app and have used it since it first came out I unfortunately have to give it a 2 star rating only due to the new video player that was introduced The video player lags when streaming through SMB it freezes stops playing green screens crashes and does not perform as expected or as it has in the past when it was using Apples Native player I never had an issue streaming through SMB before this update The time scrubber has also been moved from the top to the bottom and I wish it would go back the way it was previously The overall interface has been updated to look more like iOS 9 and everything else works just fine My only complaint is the video player and SMB stream speeds with the update please fix it        Fix the Video Player

This app works with network drives This has been a very reliable product                 Great file manager

i cant play videos at all now nor does streaming to vlc or safari work either please fix this soon if it did work it would be my all time favorite app again        video player no longer works

Bought this to stream avi files now I read the small print I see you need to open in another app to play avi which means FULLY DOWNLOADING the video file Buy FileExplorer instead it streams all video files within the app        FileExplorer is better for streaming video files

Ive been using file browser for more than a year and I just love the app I have a time capsule where I put all my media and its great to be able to access it on the iPhoneiPad with file browser Feature request remember how far a video or audio file was played like audible and VLC player                 Awesome app

The App used to be great But this latest update has ruined all the past improvements Video play back has dropped dramatically     New update not working

I love this app I have been using it frequently for a long time now This app lets you access save and locally download nearly all kinds of files between your iPad or iPhone and your local computer or server It plays just about all the media type files videos pictures images along with PDFs and Microsoft office files You can also download files directly from an internet source by saving the internet location you found in safari by saving the URL to your scratchpad file and going to File Browser and selecting download from URL You can also export files directly from Apples Pages app by clicking on the export button in pages selecting the form you want to export then selecting the app File Browser and then it takes you to that app and you the select where you want to put the file It lets me move office type files around without paying for cloud usage or Microsoft Offices yearly fee When saving files and you are away from your home network you can save them to File Browsers local folder or put them in the devices Camera Roll file You can then move them to your home network when you are back within its wifi range with File Browser I do not remember what I paid originally for the app but it has been well worth it to me It lets me do PClike file movements and saving within iOS Something that Apple inexplicably left out of iOS The publisher has consistently done a good job of supporting this app with updates as Apple changed its iOS                 Does the things IOS left out

Been using FileBrowser for about 2 years and its the most featurerich file manager in the App Store With this app I am able to read and store files from Google Drive Gmail Google Docs iCloud Dropbox Microsoft Word etc You name it and this app can get it Even has support for videos and allows my iPhone to have access to files on servers Ive set up Just an overall fantastic app                 Can do anything with FileBrowser

If I have to go to the website for support because the app isnt clearly providing instructions on how to configure an account on my Mac Mini to share then Ive basically wasted time due to this companies in ability to test the product with a regular user Poor release go to the support page and youll get the solutionthey will loose clients based on this I hope they get this message 30 years in app dev hereclean up your act people           Needs work

I love my iPad and iPhone but Ill never get used to not having something like Finder or Windows Explorer This app lets me move files from email and other apps to my home file server and view most file formats It goes a long way to overcoming the absence of a Finder                 Very useful

Worked well until the last update but now the PDF files take long to clear up and it is alway shutting down unexpectedly           iPad 4th gen

Updated 942015 I still looooove FileBrowser Feature Request I have an Apple Time Capsule Router I also have the Canon 70D camera This camera can take both Raw files and Jpeg files at the same time I would like 2 Options added to this App When I am viewing a directory that contains two copies of the same file I would like to set an option just to display the jpeg version of the photo 3 Then I would like the Option that would ask me when downloading the photo file which copy would you like to downlod The RAW high res photo or the Jpeg version Right now I am skiping the RAW file in favor of viewing the jpeg version The jpeg version downloads way faster just for viewing purposes This would just make things a little cleaner working environnment                 Apples iCloud drive update
