I have had this app since 2011 I can honestly say this has been one of the most useful apps I have ever used The developer does an excellent job keeping this app uptodate He or she deserves every penny they make Thank you for this excellent study tool                 Excellent

This is a great flashcard app with so many features text sound multiplechoice drawing spaced repetition and its even better now that video has been added This app really does compete with anything out there                 So many features

Ive had this app for years and love everything about it Ive learned thousands of vocabulary words from half a dozen languages using this app The upload to the server is extremely easy to use and everything within the app is customizable I normally never rate apps but I had to for this one This app has been one of the four apps on the bottom of my phone since the day I got it next to phone internet and email If theres anything you want the app to do just go to the website and write to the creator I did and in a few weeks I was surprised to see my own suggestions become part of the app Its 4 which admittedly is a lot for an app But if you think about how many physical flashcards you can make with 4 bucks verses how many you can make here not to mention the hundreds of other features you can do with digital flashcards the cost is nothing Seriously if I lost my phone I would buy a new one JUST to get this app back Hands down the best app I will ever use                 if I lost my phone Id buy new one just to have this app

Ive used this app since I started medical school and continue to do so now in residency The texttospeech option is most useful when I am too tired to keep my eyes open but still need to squeeze more knowledge into my brain in order to survive the next days pimp session Otherwise its also perfect while driving showering or pooping Im amazed at the ongoing effort to develop quality updates over the years I tell everyone about this appexcept the snooty knowitalls who smirk when I tell them I learn best with flashcards                 Study even when you cant keep your eyes open

The cloud importation does not work     cannot import deck

It used to have my decks but when I had to reinstall the app it claims it cant find them     Cant get private decks

Ive tried and spent a lot on different Flashcard apps and they never worked for me I doubted another one would make any difference but I needed more than 2 sides to my Flashcards I tried the lite version first and was so impressed that I bought the full version within minutes The price is so reasonable for the features and Im cheap so thats saying something Its the best Flashcard app Ive come across ever Hope more people discover the app and support the developer He really deserves it for an app well done                 Love it

I have spent the last week researching the numerous flashcard apps available on iPhone and iPad and spent over 40 in the process I have looked into the major and minor details of these programs Here was my list of musthaves based on importance 1 Support modern SRS while also keeping cards in order my deck is in order of importance 2 Support more than 2 sides to a card 3 Support flipping cards 1 and 2 for studying backward and forward 4 Support texttospeech TTS for foreign languages 5 Ability to add photos into a single card or a batch 6 Be able to display a complete list of the cards and filter the list by the cards status 7 Notifications and Rembinders 8 Display useful statistics Many apps supported a combination of these features but only Flashcards Deluxe supported ALL of them In many cases even the implementation of the features were better executed in Flashcards Deluxe At this point I have spent several days using the app exclusively with my deck and the app is very reliable When flashcards are as complex as mine are you dont want to get lost in the process of getting them setup Fortunately Flashcards Deluxe has a fantastic help menu with explanations for each option I also reached out the the developer when I had questions and received prompt responses Im very happy with my decision I only wish the amount I spent for the other apps could have gone to this developer instead Hopefully I can save someone the effort that I had to go through This is the flashcard app you need                 Comparing the numerous flashcard apps

I Picked this flash card app over others in the App Storeturned out to be a great choice Tons of features well supported stableits fantastic And it grabs txt files out of Dropbox to use as card decks Im very happy with it                 Wonderful app

I dont often write reviews but this app deserves my time I tried a number of flashcard apps when I went back to school a few years ago I got this one soon after its release have used it exclusively ever since Many friends classmates are now using also We all agree its the best written clean glitchfree easy to use as close to perfect flashcard app there is Im not exaggerating Every new feature update have continually improved the app in my experience have been well tested before release I never cringe when updating wondering as I do with updates on many other apps if the update will effectively ruin the app                 Perfection

I tried about five other flashcard apps before I came across one that has this many options for customization This app is obviously built by someone who knows what flashcards need to do Worth it                 Yes please

Lets be honest theres no lack of flash card apps in the Store But most didnt let me own my own data off the phone and update the decks easily That is they wanted me to type my cards up manually in the app So once youve done the work of typing up hundreds of cards in the app youre basically stuck within their proprietary app and you cant add subtract correct hide and update cards efficiently For me that was a nonstarter I have over 1200 cards This app lets me just keep an Excel spreadsheet and upload big sections of it easily through a simple website then download from the app and delete the old decks Much easier to refine decks as I learn and I dont have to worry what happens if my phone dies or this app goes away or whatever Finally someone wrote the app I needed              Lets you own your own data on PC and update to iPhone

Excellent feature set and formatting options with this app You can add and edit cards directly in the app You can backup your work You can type up more complex cards in Excel and import them easily Really a great app that delivers big The only knock Ill give it is that all of the features and configurability make the app a bit technical it takes some work to truly understand and use all of the features In the end I love having all of that control Less technically imclined people might be overwhelmed                 Fullfeatured Flashcard App

I could never imagine that something as simple as flashcards could be developed into the most brilliant application I have experienced in both an iPad and iPhone I dont understand why anybody studying medical sciences doesnt have this app I can say that I will graduate from a doctoral degree thanks to this application This app may be a bit confusing to use at first but is only after a while that you realize the tremendous potential the possibilities are endless Download this app Take your time to get use to it Finally you will not be able to live with out it                 I will graduate thank to this app

Best flash card program ever and very good support from the author This app justified purchasing an iPad and iPod for me It includes nice features that you cant get with other SRS apps like auto play of decks with the sound and background music for getting more studying in while driving or cleaning The interface is clean simple but powerful This is my most used app on my phone by far                 Awesome

You cannot adjust quiz game speed Instructions are very confusing and hard to navigate app to adjust settings Id look yo other apps     Horrible

Spent thirty minutes trying to create one multiple choice card and it flips to jeopardy mode Help was useless and not user friendly Dont buy it Just go online an buy a practice test for whatever youre studying for     Awful Waste of Money

For a 1 time price rather than a monthly fee from other apps you get full features and regular improvements to the app Love the text to speech and ability to add photos Been using this app for almost 5 years                 Love it

There are plenty of straightforward flash card apps on the App Store with basic features and modest customizability Whats sets Flashcards Deluxe apart is the granular control over card content organization repetition for which I have found no substitute For example being able to combine multiple decks flag and categorize cards have cards with more than 2 sides have cards with HTML formatting customize the streak until a card is mastered or tweak the precise order and spaced repetition settings is tremendous The app does have a learning curve but for serious studiers it is absolutely worth 4 I would pay 20                 Granular control sets this apart

Ive tried a bunch of the Flashcard Apps this is the best at least for me my Great CS UI Functionality that keeps getting better with regular updates and I could go on but for a few s you can test drive this App and see If you love to use flashcards to learn memorize stuff school poetry foreign languagesetc there is nothing with the robust functionality you may have to learn how to use this Apps full features color audio pictures etc But this has been continues to be my go to 3x5 card App Over 4 yrs of use through 1 Medical Training 2 NanoTechnology Degree 3 Shakespeare Scripture Spanish French Russian Favorite Quotes and everything with which I want to infuse myself to become the best me that I can be                 ALL You Could Wish

I emailed a little while ago about adding the ability to turn off HTML parsing for those of us studying code and that feature just got added Thank you so much This is hands down the best flashcard app on the App Store It allows for so much customization that will allow you even study flash cards with a lot of text on it Most flashcard apps are only designed to handle a small amount of text Im looking at you quizlet                 Best Dev on the App Store

The best program for creating flashcards I have created hundreds of beautiful Animal Kingdom flashcards for my granddaughter taking full advantage of the ability to have 6 sides or pages per card 5 photos per card and 5 sounds per card I would love the ability to have subfolders but otherwise this program is ideal with great customer support                 Outstanding

I downloaded a free version of flashcards which was to my liking but I wanted more features such as bolding and highlighting and changing the color of the font None of these features were available Total waste of time and money in my opinion and wasnt easy to use from the start Very confusing to use I dont feel like investing more time to know how to use a product when I need to spend that time studying     Very confusing to use and didnt have the features Id like
