Color coding allows you to save the locations of coffee shops and favorite places so you can return to them later It s also fun to see everywhere you ve been I would love to see a way to back the data up to my computer though Great for traveling hakalise

The app was exactly what I was looking for and the issue with not be able to sync with multiple devices is fixed iCloud Sync is working "Q---Bert"
Good app over all I would like a feature added similar to trip advisor were you here If I want to drop a pin on an already identified map location that should be the default name not the address or a lat long coordinate Needs some work Price comparisons
I bought this app to keep a journal of places I ve been Recently upgraded my iPhone just to realize that this app didn t sync to iCloud and the timeline was empty I lost all the entries I previously had so at the moment it is useless for me since I don t trust how it does iCloud sync iCloud sync doesn t work steb99
I loved footprint and used it regularly on iPhone and iPad to record my travels I d usually mark the location with my phone while on location and later write notes with my iPad syncing between the two Until the version on on phone stopped fully syncing It pulls up some of my pins but not the ones entered after a certain date Very frustrating I ve deleted and reloaded the app many times and same problem I contacted Footprint help and no response Help me love this app again Love lost Mia4367

Cool app worth the small investment to document your trips Only thing I wish the app had was filters on the different pin colors map and timeline as well as being able to label the different pin colors It would be nice to easily differentiate all the trips I take with different people on the map and timeline Great app Daino31
I am doing a 4 month long solo backpacking trip through Europe and I absolutely love this app It is a must have when traveling The Timeline feature allows you to look back on every place you ve pinned in chronological order super helpful for remembering names of restaurants cafes shops and other memorable sights during your travels Highly recommend getting this app Great app for traveling Meg Mullins

Cant place or move pins once they have been placed have to zoom in to you want the pin to show Needs work

This would be 5 stars if they allowed you to backtrack and put cities youve been at in the past Only allows current location pins Unfortunate because I cant use my phone every place I go to get a pin The Places app is better in that respect No Backtracking

111714 Update Disappointed with having to reenter all prior pins after an earlier problematic update but happy with customer service and hopeful that it will continue to improve Suggestions for additional improvements include having the map change from portrait to landscape when phone is turned accordingly and having the ability to choose how to sort places alphabetically newest oldest etc Overall this is a nice app for basic pinning to remember where one has been However it would be so much better if at least one favorite photo or thumbnail image could be added per pin pins could be color coded to provide enhanced pinning solo wspouse etc a screen shot could be saved or emailed to captureshare snapshots in time Those upgrades would likely make it a five star app Happy Beginnings wNov 14 update

I still do not know how to sync the data from my iPhone to iPad I tried to update the iCloud but the app on iPad still did not show any pins I added on iPhone Good but needs improvement
Since the last update or maybe before all my pins are gone I had more than 200 identified locations all over the world and now they are all gone Very disappointed I may start over again or delete the app Lost everything
Since my last review I have gotten a new iPod and tried this app again and it works just fine The problems I was experiencing had more to do with the software on my old iPod I like it

Different colored pins are a must when that happens this will be a 5 star app for me Would really like to distinguish places visited between vacation military and jobs Also the ability to shade states or countries visited a different color Now my pins are disappearing losing stars On right track
It doesnt crash or anything and the Interface is relatively simple to use That being said its nothing special just lets you pin anywhere youve been I was hoping for something that would shade in regions youve been darker when youve been there a lot This app doesnt do anything like that Pretty simple app

I love this app It tracks where Ive been with pins on a map and allows you to tag them with pictures I wish the timeline feature was better though It just shows a list of places Ive been in chronological order I wish it showed an actual horizontal timelinewhere events are properly proportioned according to the time elapsed in between them The second change is that I wish you could check in to the same place twice instead of having to drop a new pin each time Very good but could use two changes

Update 4814 i just updated the app and now it wont open at all Hope this is fixed soon or Ill be deleting and looking for something else I really like this app I have been looking for one like it for quite a while I do believe there are some changes that would make it unbeatable 1 Multiple pin sets that can be customized label color etc and 2 ability to select map area to show heat for example individual states as opposed to all of US being lit up for a single location I have had no issues with the app crashing I look forward to updates in the future Good Start
I belong to a group on Facebook so the footprint has worked well to know where everyone is I also work camp so I added the places Ive worked I wish I could pick the photos or at least delete them maybe I can and just havent figured out how yet but I would like to add some from my phone but I dont see how either Good so far
This is a good app nice and clean and fairly intuitive For me as someone who travels a lot and visits a bunch of restaurants that id like to remember at good to be able to search by name and add them to the timeline HOWEVER when you add a location you only get a street instead of the name of the place you just searched PLEASE update to show names of places after you just searched for it and checked in Almost there

Love this app Great way for us to remember details about each State Park or camp we visit We can add photos and pin the maps in museums or sites in different cities too A great way to remember where weve been Would love to be able to tag the same place with different events on different dates though Footprints
The way you enter places you visited is very tedious You cant pick from a list and theres not auto fill The countries are not colored in completely so there are gaps that look like theres a rogue state between countries I dont care too much about GPS logging countries Ive been to because its not something that happens daily Horrible Interface

CRASH BUG FIXED Finally cloud backup I had lost my previous footprints due to a lost phone I really like the app and it does allow you to enter past footprints I bit the bullet and upgraded for the picture posting and timeline features It crashes a bit unlike previous version but Im sure its because the update JUST came out I will leave it 5stars because Im sure itll be straightened out in update Good job making this more useful Upgraded my rating to 5 stars
