I loved this app priced to the apple map update I used this every day for my business Now maximum zoom is a fraction of what google maps was It is impossible to measure a yard with any accuracy at all I hope an update comes soon that fixes this issue until then the value of this app has dropped significantly         Useless for business with IO6 Meathead904

This superb app was ruined by the justifiably maligned Apple maps app in iOS 6 The satellite view resolution at maximum zoom is now inadequate for precision better than about 10 feet at least at my house perhaps 10 miles or more in some parts of the world The developer deserves five stars for their brilliant implementation and Apple deserves zero stars for ineptitude                     Ruined by iOS 6 Long•John

Great quick app but the gps location should be turned in by default when the app loads the first time I had no idea you could see your gps location until much later Secondly the distance results I m getting ate slightly longer than measurements from Google Earth on a laptop by at least 5 so might want to double check the calculation algorithm which hopefully is taking into account that distance between longitude points is different depending on your latitude Also no indication if measurement between extreme distance is along earth curve or through the earth straight line Does what it says             Lengths should be checked TornadoNewbie

This is terrific App I searched the App Store for something to measure distances on maps so I could accurately and easily measure my exercise routes on streets and trails all terrain and am delighted every time I use this App Way beyond my expectation I also got the ability to easily measure areas and to select whatever distance and area units I like All this with the choices of satellite map hybrid                     Awesome Walking player

This is pretty darn accurate thanks An awesome tool for us surveyors not having to visit and depend on the various county Gis websites which aren t very friendly to iPads and I hope if it s not already implemented to be able to search by address in a future update                     Very handy tariccio

This app is very useful and works great I agree with another review tho dropping the pins is kinda difficult to be accurate I guess it does give u a estimate tho Great job Also one review said it needed gps location well it does have it Its just kinda hidden Hit the top right arrow icon the one that is 99 9 of the time reserved for emailing or tweeting then toggle the gps location                     Handy app isiaet

I found my old high school football field Zoomed in and marked the corners The result was 1 34 acres Official size is 1 32 acres Pretty good for such a small size on google maps I do wish the dropping of marker was offset hard to place something directly under your finger                 Pretty accurate YourFriendMike

Like the other reviewer said it s a nice tool for planning jogging routes I travel a lot so when I m in an unfamiliar city this app helps me figure out the mileage before I set out for a run                     This was exactly what I was looking for Jreich44

Great app Always wondered how far I was walking on some of these walking paths this gives an accurate measurement in feet yards and miles You ll love it Came up with a good way to gauge accuracy zoom in on any HS football field and measure any yardage and compare to apps answer Or test it around the two and a half mile ovals of the Indy 500 or Daytona if you stay on the track it reads 2 5 miles and some change everytime It would be great if you could develop an app to measure objects the same way inside a building such as walls furniture etc Please consider Thanks                     Bob Jeffboat

No complaints I downloaded this to measure the outside diameter of my property and another measurement to run an electrical line to an out building You can set it to square measurements or a point by point straight line Thats what I used this app for and I foresee using it in the future for other outdoor projects It uses google Sat maps so the level of zooming in is the same as google maps If thats good for your needs it should work The price is good Sense I don t have a tape to measure these distances I would either need to buy a tape or measure it in increments of 25 which would in my case would take awhile over several acres Good app                 Works good gfann

Purchased this app to measure our lawn for re seeding and fertilizing Our original estimates using a long tape measure were off nearly fifty percent if the accuracy of this app is to be believed Some concerns Entering our address did not trigger the map to zoom in like it does in Google Maps typically I had to search for the bullet which wasn t visible in the initial view Standard and satellite map views do not align although this may be a flaw in Google s maps The property lot lines in the standard view did not jive with the satellite photo Repositioning vector points is hap hazardous It would help if one could lock the map to prevent accidental scrolling while moving vector points It would also be helpful if one could delete a vector point selectively rather than clearing the entire effort and starting over             A tad crude Questionable accuracy TouchOfGray

Used this to determine the size of our stock tank on the ranch Worked like a charm Then used it to determine the number of square feet in my front yard Again worked perfectly Takes a little bit of practice to set the dots and move them around to mark the area you are measuring It s too easy to set a new dot when your are trying to move an existing one but you can clear the new dot easily Just takes the right touch                     Excellent App dd5087

When you ask it to show you a current location it just puts you in a 1x1 mile grid of yourself and you have to choose where exactly your at While I can usually tell where I am at exactly in familiar territory I wanted to use it to find yardage for hunting Please add a blue dot and ability to measure from current location and I will re rate 5 stars I figured it would be a given to be able to measure from your current location             Current location Nibanewba
