I use this app because I have a paid subscription to the Indianapolis Star There are now banner ads that appear at the bottom of the screen BAD IDEA Loose the in app banner ads or loose a subscriber There are already ads in the paper itself STOP pushing ADS banners on the INDY STAR PRINT EDITION iPad app I pay for my subscription and DO NOT APPROVE of this annoyance 29 days and counting down until I cancel may Indy News subscription which we have maintained since 1980     Paid Subscription remove banner ads AAPS_Member

First nothing has changed since Diane in Carmel s review in January The biggest problem with the App mirrors my print edition it is often late It amazes me that the electronic edition is often not ready for download until after 6 am and also on a much too frequent basis the only edition available is the print edition from the day before Because the App itself works a majority of the time it seems obvious that the IndyStar either fails to upload the paper in a timely manner on some days or the software it uses to upload the paper fails to get the job done or fails IndyStar be more consistent and fix the problems if you want to avoid extinction     Not Consistently Reliable Dave in Southport

I ve been using this app for a while now and the 2 words that primarily pop into my head are disappointing and frustrating I had very high hopes for this app but as others have noted the constant crashes the failure to update etc have greatly disappointed me Once again this morning when I press the icon for today s paper I get yesterday s paper instead I am thinking that they basically want you to buy the print edition and therefore have made this iPad edition unusable In reality it s going to force me to not subscribe to the paper altogether It s really pretty good when it works correctly but unfortunately that s a rarity Continued this app remains perhaps the most frustrating app I use There has been no improvement over the last several months in fact I think it has probably gotten worse I pay good money for this newspaper subscription but this app makes it virtually unusable     Please make this app functional Dianeincarmel

This app had been working fairly well it was always very slow and there were always at least a few errors in how the articles read in the flip mode when compared to the articles mode the errors appear in the articles mode That said it was an adequate way to read the paper offline Now however the only way to get a new issue to load is to uninstall and reinstall the app every day which is extremely annoying         Needs to be fixed AMLagg

Hard to believe an actual app is less functional than the web mounted version I am a loyal reader but it is very frustrating when it takes five or six tries to get scroll through a major story For new users when you first open it and the newspaper image appears you have to touch a story any story with 2 fingers to get the text to open This is not obvious and is not needed with any other story one finger tap is fine I like the layout and the visuals it is just that the scrolling is dysfunctional more than half of the time         Interface interferes rapplegaIndy
