I use this app as a learning tool to get to know Indian classical music I downloaded it to accompany me as I play cello in yoga studios Ive gotten so much use out of this and practice scales with it now too The feature list is endless and that sounds are great                 Great app Getting to know Indian classical music

Why Why Why Would anyone play exercises with a metronome when you could use this The benefits are numerous First of all you dont lose your sanity they way you do with click tracks and incessant metronomic clicks Second you can learn to play over very odd beat groupings and the rhythmic subdivisions contained therein But heres a hidden benefit you can improve you ear training by constantly measuring and learning the pitch relationship between what youre playing and the pitches within the drone This is a VERY USEFUL app                 Diverse use

I have been using this app for a while and really enjoyed it Lately its been going out of tune very often Im not sure whats causing this issue It started about a year back on my iPhone 4s and it still continues on my iPhone 6 Hope u can fix it           Goes out of tune

iTablaPro is the main reason I purchased an iPad I am a classically trained Western musician BM Percussion MM Music Theory but only began studying Hindustani Classical music six years ago when my wife and sisterinlaw purchased a sitar for me while in India I have only had a total of 12 hours of sitar lessons from a pro sitarist but have been listening and building a library in the years since receiving the sitar That being said I have no ambition of becoming a performing sitarist though I have played at a few very private functions among friends However I get immense joy from improvising on the instrument and it provides a great deal of musical insight and inspiration with regard to the music I do perform in public Until now my only accompaniment has been a loop of a tanpura on a CD played on an old boom box Now I have a someone to play with I am very satisfied with iTablaPro and highly recommend it to amateur or professional                 Wonderful

Great overall To get five star I have two suggestionscomments First surmandal needs more strings this app at best plays an aarohavarohapakad Originally surmandal has 36 strings Can we have more strings please Secondly when all tabs play Ie tabla taanpura and surmandal the tabla volume gets subduedmaking it difficult to hear tabla well can thisbe fixed              Very good tool

Nice app but tabla volume is way too low even when only one Tanpura is at 25 volume and tabla is at 100 still cannot hear tabla very well           Tabla volumne too low
