This app seemed good at first Our major issue the app doesnt synch across devices We installed on my phone and the kids iPad but updates to iPad dont show up on the phone When you are at the store and the kids want to know if they have money in the bank to spend you dont have the information They need to add some sort of synching ability between devices and users to allow Moms Dads and kids to see their information on their own devices Additionally for some reason interest only applies to Savings accounts Why wouldnt interest apply to charity and spending accounts as well My kids feel they are getting punished for putting money in charity accounts because it doesnt earn interest        More confusing than helpful

Just finished second day of using this with my two boys and they are all over this Easy to set up and use love the caching sound effect and kids love watching bank grow Includes saving interest and charity options my 8 year old shows no interest in these but my 11 year old had an aha moment when we discussed interest and so is using these options Now all chores are done when i come home otherwise no money and they have to do them anyway so less stress Also have frequent discussions on what other chores they can do and what the reward should be A true game changer in our family The only gripes i have is that there is no sync between ios devices Would like to set up in ipad then take iphone on shopping trips as my virtual wallet for the kids Also do not see a way to enter transactions for previous dates But great as is and looking forward to improvements           Awesome but needs Sync

I was tired of IOUs while shopping guessing whether they had enough money for purchases and frankly I never remember to pay them in the first place This app is exactly what I was looking for and works perfectly at solving those problems Allowance is automatically credited once per week and split into spendsavecharity The ATM lets us check balanced immediately and if they have enough money record withdrawals right in the store We created jobs for special projects like cleaning the garage We love this app                 Paperless solution to handling kids money

This is not worth paying for 1 Not intuitive 2 very limited functions it needs a tithing option transfers etc Wait for an upgrade before you purchase this one     Lame

Its a little complicated to figure out Wish it had more options Wish it had the option to put 10 away for tithing and 10 away for investing another category might be charity Please consider adding these features     Tithing and investing

It seems like every time we go anywhere my kids find something they have to have Giving them a small allowance plus the ability to earn extra by doing chores makes these choices a lot more meaningful These ideas have been around forever but having a nice app like this makes it easier to follow through as a parent                 Nice app for teaching kids about money

As a former stockbroker who wants to raise lifelong savers who can make good financial decisions this app meets all our familys needs and then some From the ability to customize chores and pay rates to the app paying the kids weekly allowances even when I forget to ability to make extra deposits like birthday money to the app emailing the kids a weekly statement this well designed app has made life SO much easier We love that the app keeps track of everything and keeps the kids motivated without us having to spend a bunch of time on it If the kids do a really big extra chore we tell them to negotiate their rate up front and to make sure that Mom and Dad actually go into the app and pay for the work Great life skills As a parent I love that if the kids want a toy at Target I can tell them right away how much they have to spend I can also deduct their purchase on the spot from their account I was forever forgetting to reimburse myself from their money jar at home and all those 20 Nerf Guns and 15 painting kits really add up We have our kids ages 9 and 11 accounts set up to send 40 to savings 10 to charity and 50 to spending While these may not be real life percentages the spending money and the savings need to add up to keep them motivated A word here it is worth setting you interest rate a bit high so that the kids can see their savings add up 25 cents a week in interest that adds up to a dollar a month extra is like getting free money just for not spending your money as one of our kids exclaimed is a great motivator With the click of a button we can email statements to the kids and its like Christmas when they arrive When we pay bills each month we have the kids watch when we pull the money out of their KidsBank savings account and actually send it to their accounts at the bank I cannot recommend this app enough It has helped us teach and motivate our kids to save and to help more at home and it has all but cured them of whining when we are out shopping                 A perfect app for kids parents and money

I really like this app However it would be helpful to be able to erase transactions that have been voided and also to be able to view each Childs transactions separately like they could each have their own ledger That would be helpful for them to see their own history              Mom

This is definitely this best app to keep track of allowances chores LOVE IT Really didnt want to get the kids a bank account since our credit union is so far away Still trying to figure out how to delete a chore though Hmmm                 Best

Its great for me to maintain and the house is usually pretty clean                 Great to use

I have found Kids Bank to be very easy to use It is convenient as well I like how you can create jobs on your own and how much each job is worth so you do not have to enter in the information each time I also like how you can keep track of your deposits and easily do a withdraw My only complaint is that this does now have a tithe option or a third savings option There is only spendsave              Easy and Convenient Allowance Tracker

What a bummer I just bought this but its clunky For instance if my daughter babysits 3 hours for me I have to add each hour individually If she rakes for 45 minutes I have to create separate chores for time increments less than one hour The only way to see the running total of the account balance is to email a statement to myself I cannot specify the date so if Im entering something a day after it happened it will have the wrong date on it Im deleting and trying another app     Wish I could return it

My kids love seeing their chores accounted for You can enter tasks and their monetary value Each child has an individual account They can look at their balance transactions and the chores available to earn more money Other features are earning interest and a separate savings balance It really helps when we are out and they ask for things I say Lets see how much you have in your Kid Account It is educational motivates them to help at home and seriously cuts down on their pestering us to buy them things                 Great tool for kids

Great for keeping track of kids allowances                 Easy to use

I purchased this as it said it would sync between devices I can not get it to sync and have cloud enabled to do so There are also no instructions on the developers web page as to how to set it up I will review again if I can get it to sync        Doesnt currently sync between devices

After using this app for about a year all of my kids account data was suddenly deleted after an update     All data lost

Just started using the app and it pretty user friendly I wish you could delete on the jobs list and have a tithe option It also doesnt sync with my iPad which would nice              So far so good

I like the split into savings spending and charity I like the interest too The transaction view ability to email the records these are very useful I use this app in conjunction with AllowanceBot which has a better interface more kid friendly for chores and earning money so earnings are manually transferred from there once a week We track all spending with KidsBank My kid 7 y is still terrible at money selfmanagement but mostly accepts when I say I dont think you can afford that It does curtail some of the checkout lane negotiations I wish it had a web interface Overall this app has worked well for our family we have used it for six months Thank you              Handles most of our needs

The kids were struggling with modern concepts of payment taxes interest and basic life support costs This App has really helped them understand the concepts                 Chores are now Fun

After an update we lost ALL info Said it required iCloud drive to be onI dont want iCloud nor use iCloud STOP forcing people to keep updating with Apple crap and just make your app usable This is the second time your crappy app has erased all our info SHOVE IT     Save your money and get another app

My kids love this app and have become more inclined to earn money by helping with household chores since weve started using it Setting up jobs for them was very easy and my husband and I love that this is another way to encourage the kids to save part of their money Great life lessons abound in this app and the developer couldnt be any more responsive to questions and suggestions We highly recommend it                 Awesome App
