The app is easy to use with well designed user interface Streaming video is smooth and with high quality But the downloaded video seems to have relatively low resolution at most 480p It would be great if download resolution settings choose between 480p 540p and 720p can be added in the next version              Add resolution settings for download

Great app just a few qualms Brining up the controls while watching a video shouldnt take nearly a whole second When I touch the video the controls should pop up immediately not after a half second with a fade animation that takes longer Also no notes              Good app slow controls no notes

This app is crashing when I attempt to log in under the organization option Ive never used previous versions so I dont know if this is an ongoing issue or not     Crashes when I try to login

First Lynda is a great way to train for using new software and learn advanced tricks and second the mobile app has really increased how often I study Ive been a member for about a year at first using the web version to learn while sitting at my desk Now I use my tablet to Chromecast I study more when I dont have to log in and sit at my desk I appreciate that the mobile app syncs with the browser so we can pick up where left off in a course Great subscription plus a reliable app Absolutely worth it                 Great instructors Lynda is worth subscribing mobile apps are worth having

Not only did they fix the auto play issue with Chromecast but they took it one step further it will still auto play when your device screen is in sleep mode                 Yes

Its not many apps that understand how much some users rely on Chromecast Within a couple of days of an update support immediately fixed the issue and uploaded another update to ensure their users continue to have a great experience Thank you Team Lynda                 Great App User Experience

Im new to the app but so far I like the navigation better than the website The browsing feature is very intuitive to me I do wish it opened when you launched the app though It took me a minute to figure out how to get back there though Also theres a little bug when Im trying to add something to my playlist where the popup menu appears off the page or partially off the page Otherwise this app has been just plain handy              Pretty awesome

I love Lyndacom but the latest app update will no longer will when streaming to Apple TV        Wont work on Apple TV with latest update

I use this app daily and have done so for the last year I love it Now the app just crashes None of the videos play all my downloaded content is missing and when I try to redownload it it says shows as being already downloaded and it crashes     Somethings broken

Every time I try it says error It doesnt even process just jumps straight to the error pop up message Seems like they are trying to force you to log in through LinkedIn     Cant log in

The content on this website is great and by the way the website works fine but this version of the app does not Theres something wrong with the video player The audio output stutters periodically throughout lectures sometimes making it hard to understand Please fix this and Ill update my review     Audio is messed up

The app does not work very well and Lyndacom is very slow to respond to support issues The video cuts out stalls and buffers constantly and Im on a very fast wireless network When run the videos through safari on my Mac over wireless on the same network I do not have these issues        Poor quality video

At the end of every video the app crashes Please fix it it should be a simple fix     Crashing

I can no longer download this app on my iPhone 6 This is a 128GB device with 70 GB of free space available running the very latest version of iOS 8 The download starts and gets about 70 done and then stalls and will not start again Ive tried multiple good networks both cellular and WiFi at different locations even different cities and it wont continue Other apps including apps larger than this are downloading fine Im a paid premium subscriber and would like to use the app I previously had it installed but had to temporarily delete it for space reasons a while back when traveling and taking a lot of picturesvideos I have tried powering cycling the phone offon Did not help Have tried deleting the partial install and starting again many times I will change the stars on this review when I can download and run the app In the past it was a great 5star app when it worked     Can no longer download the app

You have to manually start each video when using Chromecast feature Horrible user experience     Chromecast auto play doesnt work

Overall just incredibly buggy and getting worse over the last six months or so Still cant play video properly Audio and video get out of sync one or other stops playing entirely while the other continues or it just stops playing both entirely frequently Some videos dont play to the end it automatically goes on to the next video too soon And so on Downloading the videos ahead of time helps but doesnt cure all the issues And is only an option if you pay more for a premium account This occurs on all iDevices which otherwise play Netflix YouTube etc video perfectly It does not occur if you watch the same videos through Safari     A video app which cant play video properly

I have used Lyndacom to everything from how to record music to how to make and edit an excel spreadsheet this is an awesome tool to learn or just brush up on the fine pints of many of my hobbies as well as my office skills                 Best online learning tool ever

Good overall app however the lack of an option to choose the video resolution really degrades the experience as it sometimes uses a very low resolution making it impossible to see the content           Bad video resolution

Streaming quality is ok I get hiccups I dont experience with Netflix or YouTube but its fine Big downside for me is there is no way to speed video Most trainings benefit from being played at 125 Maybe faster in some cases especially repeat listens A way to just stream the audio would be great too           Its fine

So I think this is a great app all around but there are several things that interruptannoy me while Im watching lessons 1 When in landscape mode watching a video any banner Notifications appear as in portrait mode and after they go away my landscaped Lynda video flips to portrait mode And it doesnt flip back to landscape on its own You have to physically flip your phone to portrait and then again to landscape Thats VERY annoying when youre concentrated on a video Please fix this bug 2 Passing between WiFi and cell data areas really stumps the video I often watch my lessons while walking tofrom work and so I pass inout of WiFi and my cell data as I arrive to my location If my video doesnt have enough buffer my video stops and the video goes black and doesnt respond to touch of playpause If I recall correctly I have to touch DONE and then start the video all over again Or just turn off WiFi I may have to start downloading my videos just so this doesnt happen 3 I tend to play videos at 15x speed so my video sometimes stopspausesto buffer I suspectlike to catch itself up but not only this sometimes because it cant quite keep up it seems to mix up where its at audiovideowise and video doesnt play along with the audio very well it doesnt match Even worse videos often end cut off by several seconds so you feel like the video didnt quite finish and the next video starts If you go back and replay the last piece of the previous video that felt cut off then it plays it well but somehow the first time around it couldnt do that 4 The touch sensitivity is delayed Sometimes I want to pause something just as its been said and when I touch the screen it doesnt receive my touch I have to do it at least once or twice after just to get it to respond and by that time my video has progressed too much and I have to press the 10second rewind and even THAT takes me at least twice or three times before it responds to my touch Very annoying I know its not responding to my touch because if I were to use the playpause on my iPhone wired headset it responds right away I would love to see these bugs fixed and would update my review then              Great with a couple of annoyances

Im really speechless and I cant thank Lynda and the absolutely amazing team enough The amount of true tech and design knowledge Ive gained is unbelievable and it literally transformed my life Truly thank you                 This is feedback to Lynda and not this app

On August 3rd they updated their iOS apps so that you have to either manually enter your password or you can use your LinkedIn password with one keypress They are trying to link their linked in users with Lyndacom users since LinkedIn bought Lindacom Just delete the app and use the web browser If they disable keychain in the web browser drop em all together perhaps they will get the message     Lynda User

Lynda has been teaching me technology and other skills going on 10 years now and it only gets better The quality of instructors and content is at the highest level and the iOS apps get opened and used more than any app on my devises Cannot praise Lyndacom and the instructors enough Keep up the good work                 Simply the best
