Capture your mood and improve your thinking habits through an innovative approach to journaling Moodnotes empowers you to track your mood over time, avoid common thinking traps, and develop perspectives associated with increased happiness and ...
I like the concept but I wonder what kind of patterns or insights it can come up with over a period of time Please add in security either pin or finger print though The thoughts are private and I dont feel safe having it just sitting in my phone        Interesting concept
Ive already had a bad mood made better by the apps prompting me to think differently about the moment Well worth the cost already But I agree with other reviews that it should have a pin or at least the option to set one              Great app needs security
The app does more than rate mood journal and show a trend line After selecting feelings it provides the option of guiding the journaling via a positive or negative thinking habit path leading to content drawn from cognitive behavior therapy and concluding with helpful suggestionsinsights to use going forward Missed entries can be backdated by tapping on the date in the journal entry screen                 More than meets the eye
I really want a passcode though              Great app that works
I find more resolve in writing in my own journal and analyzing stuff on my own When you get the same exact feedback every entry its just redundant and useless     Useless
A mood tracker that isnt stressful to use                 Fantastic
Please add glances for the AppleWatch Also please add the ability to view trends GRAPHICALLY over different time periods mood score vs time period For example I would like to be able to view my cumulative average recorded mood scores versus different times during the day or versus different days of the week or versus the entire time period that Ive been collecting data Finally please add the ability to remind me at least different times during the day so that I can collect more data instead of just once each day           Good start
This app is really elegantly designed and it makes me feel comfortable to use Also you can have multiple entries a day which I worried not while looking at the screenshots                 Elegantly designed
Ive been using Day One to track my moods with photos and brief journal entries however I liked the CBT approach behind this app after reading an article and decided to try it But without the protection of a Touch ID lock the privacy element required for effective therapy is lost Phones get passed around often for photo sharing and such Anyone could open this app and see your innermost thoughts on your worst days        Not using until security feature added
Easily a five star app once they add security           Needs security
Well made add with nice design on a really important concept Solid                 Great concept
I love this app but it seriously needs a security option I dont want people to be able to read my thoughts who also happen to be in my phone I love the app but I dont know how long Ill be able to use it without a security option                 butSERIOUSLY NEEDS SECURITY
Ive only just started using this app and I am already impressed It has a simple clean interface with an easy to use design I love that it asks you how to select feelings and then gives you simple easy steps for reframing your perspective The incorporation of the common thought traps is also a great addition to help simplify and understand their feelings and what to do about them I can see this as a great addition to regular therapycounseling as the reminder features and friendly interface encourage users to continue trying to improve their thoughts between therapy sessions I can also see this as a great tool for anyone looking to reduce stress and think more clearly and positively in general Overall I am very impressed with Moodnotes and I look forward to future updates and developments                 Wonderful tool for journaling as well as learning more about your own mind
iPhone hiccups and when I restored it I lost all my notes There is no automatic save or offline cloud storage function yet If you do not remember to export your files every day and who does for the hundred plus apps on your iphone you will lose all of your time and effort put into writing your notes if you ever unexpectedly have a problem with the app or your iPhone restore the phone Beware I would not get the app at this price until it automatically saves your notes off of your iPhone either on your computer or on the cloud     Does not back itself up to the cloud automatically
Just downloaded the app 10 minutes ago it looks like it will be very helpful however It really needs a password lock for privacy           Beautiful concept
Im a family doctor and Ive already prescribed this app after having used it for a few days Cognitive behavioral therapy is well studied and effective The mental traps in this app are an elegant way to challenge your thoughts that are less useful Beautiful to use I expected that after having played Monument Valley Medically Id love to see an insomnia pack that would use much of the same framework but apply it specifically Lots of patients have insomnia and this apps approach could be helpful I like the conversational feel Like others having security would be great someday But this is a wonderful start and is definitely valuable now                 Wonderful start
It has been said before but this is a great app But if there was some security say a pin or Touch ID I would be more inclined to open up more in my notes psychologically              Great app
This app does a great job of letting people know that its really easy and beneficial to track moods feelings and actions throughout the day Its designed beautifully and I have enjoyed using it every time I open the app Highly recommend                 Wonderful app for mental health
I love this journaling tool very helpful in reflecting moods and mood trends I am happy to use this App and highly recommend it to anyone wanting positive feedback and a little common sense help processing feelings                 Really Great App
Great app really follows the principles of CBT and works really well Does need security and the ability to add more than one thought per event              Would love security and ability to add more than one thought per event
I would really love to use this It crashes before I have the chance though UPDATE it now opens which is nice The app is fun and simple The questions make me think and Ive noticed a big positive impact in my life The export to CSV made the app crash but I assume that will be fixed Also it would be wonderful if the app scrolled down a bit after addingediting traps Sometimes I forget there is another set of questions after that pop up afterward Overall it is worth the money It has been a positive influence already              Crashes as soon as I try to open it
This app is amazing and is like having a therapist in your pocket for the little things at least Would love to be able to save the comments to an account just so i dont lose them And a force touch option for the new iphones to go directly into quick save mode and into traps for when you dont feel like typing into the app                 Absolutely incredible
This is already a great app that has even greater potential Ive been searching for a journalingmoodtracking app like this for a while and gladly paid for it when I saw it on the App Store Its already rich in features without being overwhelming but I have a few recommendations that would in my opinion make it even more worth the money First of all a neutral moods category would add some depth to the range of emotions the app enables you to track Additionally for the amount of data the app allows you to input the mood trends feature is pretty plain For instance Id hope to soon be able to sort my emotions by location As this is a new app I can only imagine there are more great features to come                 Already great with even greater potential
Pick a smiley face Make up arbitrary percentages of a limited preselected list of moods Yes I am 35 anxious Not 40 heavens no Get a line chart Wow        Not much there there
Hopefully I use it often I wish there was a feature to add an image to my entry There was another review about security Even if it doesnt make logical sense to add a pin code or Touch ID I would psychologically feel more inclined to open up more in my notes              Simple to use Great start
Ive been using this app for about a week and I am already much more aware of the connections between my thoughts and my emotions I would like to see 3 things for me to commit to use of this app longterm I must chime in on the pleas for security first I would also like to add backentries If I forget to use the app to log a significant thought andor emotion Ive missed the opportunity to record it at the time and day it happened Lastly Id love to see more dialogue between the app and the user The apps most helpful feature should be available more often All in all a great foundation for an app that is visually appealing simple to use wellorganized and applies the principles of CBT wonderfully Please continue to develop this app and I would highly recommend it to everyone              Wonderful little therapy app
The app seems complete as a mood journaling app though I wonder how useful it is to provide such a detailed list of possible emotions Especially with the added option of entering a percentage it just seems like too much detail to enter My biggest concern This app elicits users to register their most private thoughts towards a positive goal yet it offers no privacy options say password or PIN to access the entries              Nice enough design but no security
