This is the PRO version of myLightmeter App. It has everything myLightmeter has plus a complete brand new lightmeter with aperture, speed and iso dialing and exposure compensation. Some new cool features added like hyperfocal distance ...
Compared with a Seconic L358 it was as much as several stops off in some lighting conditions     Highly inaccurate
This is the only lightmeter youll ever need                 Brilliant
Ive used this app for over a year now to meter when shooting my vintage cameras Was considering purchasing a 200300 light meter but this app does just fine for me Even the incidental metering works great                 Impressive incidental mode
David has provided us with a very fine light meter app I have checked mLMP against three separate meters on the even playing field of a gray card very good accuracy 13 stop on all meters If you want an app to assist with light metering this is the one to get Any new app has a learning curve relatively short for mLMP I have several suggestions to improve ease of use 1 When switching between ProClassic please retain the last measurement Makes it easy to flip between digital and analog views without having to take another measurement 2 Lens presets needs a Lock onoff slider It is easy to inadvertently switch lenses and there is nothing on the light meter to show which lens is active the 4S requires a tap to bring up lens presets bar and a very careful tap to hide to avoid inadvertent lens change 3 An inadvertent tap on the meter view brings up a full screen image there is no way to return or cancel to get back to the meter screen have to take a new measurement and loose the one you were working with Adding Cancel to the full screen view would be a simple fix This situation occurs when trying to adjust EV compensation triangle at 0 fat finger full screen view and loss of measurement you are trying to compensate Do over fat finger oops again Work around place fat finger on EV and slide up away from EV compensation scale Without lifting finger off screen you can adjust HighLow Key with triangle in full view 4 The analog HFD and EVContrast wheels are cool but impossible to get detailed info Tap to bring up the details is good Rather than having the details disappear in a second or two using a second tap to hide them would be great Having the details active while up would be fantastic eg HFD changes as f stoplens changes or EVcontrast changes with new measurement 5 Some have commented about HFD being in meters only Simple solution would be to add FT to the detail pop up leave the analog meter in M There are only four light meter apps worth considering at present and mLMP out performs them all It should be in your kit                 Should Be In Your Kit
Between this app and Sunny 16 I no longer have a need to carry a meter Seems accurate at all LVs                 Great tool
I havent used it much yet but the interface and performance already beat the other apps in this field I plan to use it a lot very soon              Better than the rest
Take the sound out or make it optional                 Lightmeter
Me being an amateur with my new camera this has helped me a lot to get the correct setting Great on my iPad and iPhone                 Light meter
No lie I used this to set my exposures on a professional shoot the other day and it was within 13rd of a stop every time even on complex scenes Well worth the price even at twice the price                 Reliable and accurate
In videofilm you need to be able to lock the shutter speed and get an ISO and F stop reading but this app only lets you lock the ISO           Not awesome for motion pictures video
I only use it to compare fstops and shutter speeds at different light levels but it gives me usable info I need a meter for flash strobes              Nice toy
Excellent Very convenient and easy to use              Nice
Im not sure if vintage light meters make sounds when pressing the measurement button but I thought it was cool that the free version made a sound when you pressed it But in this app there are no sounds at all Can you please bring the sound back and maybe provide the option to disable the sound for people who dont want it Thanks              What happened to the sound
I love it Reasonably accurate and easy to use                 Great lightmeter
I use this app as a replacement to the broken light meter in my pentax mx It works great The settings in the pro version are really cool giving you lens presets so its really fast to use Thumbs up Worth the money                 Great meter
This app keeps freezing Tried deleting Then reinstall still freezes It worked ok when it did work Wasted my money On this one           Light Meter
Straight out it does everything it says and does it well If youre looking for a pro app this is at present a great purchase I would love to see a cine mode for us moving picture folks              Pretty Nice App Would love a Cine Version
This is a very cool app however I wish you could lock the speed and aperture so that you can see what iso you need to be at              Pretty cool
So far it works as advertised              Very satisfied
Works pretty well for the most part It might be a 13 stop or less off sometimes but it is usually pretty on point                 Very Nice
I have yet to get an underexposed or overexposed negative Thank you for the great app                 Works perfectly
I changed to i6 now the app is not working bummer was out on a frozen bay at the time     Doesnt work with iPhone6
This the best meter Ive used including dedicated hardware The pro interface is outstanding and incredibly accurate                 Best light meter Ive used
This app works well Its accurate and vintage mode is nice to use                 Nice meter
Using the Luxi diffusion dome I checked this apps Incident Mode readings against my 300 Sekonic L558R light meter and found it to be consistently accurate within 13 of a stopEV I also tested the reflective mode against the center weighted metering of my Contax G2 camera which Id previously found through testing to be precisely in sync with my Sekonic meter I matched the field of view in both and they gave exactly the same readings The design of the app is excellenteasily the best of all the light meter apps Ive tried Other apps use only an on screen button to take readings so its VERY difficult to take a reading with the dome facing away from you but this app lets you use the volume up button to take a reading Perfect Thrilled to have an accurate light meter in my pocket at all times Thanks                 An EXCELLENT App
I found it convenient to work with mechanical cameras                 Good tool
I just updated this and the Pro mode no longer works I switch to Classic and it works fine and when I switch back to pro it updates with the measurement I just took Also full screen mode wont return to the meter screen     Only works in classic mode
Pretty much says it all Ability to spot meter hyperfocal info                 Best Meter App
I tried using this app on two separate occasions for long exposure film photography Granted this is probably one of the more difficult tasks for a light meter but that doesnt change the fact that it completely failed Every single one of my pictures was incredibly overexposed and I shot two full rolls each night stopping up and stopping down appropriately just in case Woe not a single image was properly exposed all blazingly bright Until it works well at night and with film andor long exposure photography this app is useless to me Also the design of this app reminds me of old audio equipment that I would prefer to let leave to be auctioned to the public by the government than to fight foreclosure on my house     Dont use it with filmat night
Love it Very reliable                 Great app
Pretty good for what it is Of course it wont be as good as a professional light meter If youre expecting that kind of performance the app store really isnt your market If youre complaining about its accuracy maybe you should be reevaluating your own skills as a photographer if you are blaming your ugly photos on an app                 Good App
Works great for black and white film My friend uses an expensive meter and when weve compared readings they normally agree And its always with me Having a good working knowledge of how meters work is helpful                 My everyday meter
great app Works well                 Great
After last update measure button on pro mode does not work on iphone 4 Classic mode works fine No support contact info found        Latest update does not work
Update broke it wont open without crashing Otherwise good app     Broken
Dang this app was the business until the last update Now its all ashes crashes iOS 616 ipod 4th gen     Crashes on startup
Works well with Luxi diffuser dome It would even be better if it meters flash                 Great App
This is a gray app and one that I will be using for a long time                 Love
I use this with my old school Leica M4 It has never steered me wrong Love the app the interface is perfect not too complicated and everything I need If you need it get it                 Love it
Love it Works great in a pinch Easy to use and decipher Great extras                 In a pinch
Getting back into meter less film photography and this cool app totally fit the bill                 Neat app
Really good and really accurate but seems to always underexpose                 Great except
I use a 4x5 camera and a Hasselblad 500C so an external light meter is a must I tried some other light meter apps and compared them to my venerable Pentax spot meter and found them off by small but annoying amounts This one seem to be quite accurate It does have 13 stop calibration capability if you need it It is not a spot meter at least not like the Pentax Its more center weighted Ill still use my spot meter for critical work but this is an excellent tool and very convenient                 Works Well
Ive checked this against several camera meters and have no problem using this one It has brought me some well exposed negatives Not as impressive as a LunaPro but easier to pocket FEATURE REQUEST Extend ASA down to 01 Thats right ASA zero point one Bizarre but a lot of us are feeding our cameras microfilm and cine copy stock that arent even up to the ASA 3 floor in the current version Sure we can do mental math but direct reading would be even better Thanks for your support              Nice Needs ExtraLow ASAs
App works great Took some getting use to since it was the first light meter Ive used                 Great app
the PRO mode stopped working on iOS 7 iPhone 5s     After last update
Ive tried several light meter apps some with many more reviews than this one and this one handily bests them all with its combination of accuracy incident and reflected metering capabilities and a host of other features as well as two different interfaces both of which I use in different situations The fact that it has multiple capabilities beyond just reflected metering is just the beginning Many of the multi featured apps are not that intuitive or easy to use or as well laid out as this one The ability to spot meter the brightest and darkest points in a scene and then quickly and easily access the dynamic range of the scene is a feature youll find yourself using because it is so easy to do Do yourself a favor just buy this app And download the user manual and read it as well Support from the developer is also first class                 Superb Just buy it
It gives me different readings than my analog light meter and when I try to set it to f80 it keeps defaulting to f90        Buggy
Good supplement to a regular light meter Handy to use slick interface              Neat tool
Im a film only shooter so a good light meter is a must to ensure that Im getting correct exposures My main meter is a Gossen Luna Pro F but I use this meter on days that I feeling like traveling light or if Ive forgotten to pack my meter in my bag No issues with the meter in the year or so Ive had it and Ive used it outdoors indoors and even for some night exposures Id recommend it 100 as these days everyone always has their phone with them so youll always have a reliable light meter with you as well                 Great backup meter
