My problem is voices sound muddy in noisy or echoey rooms This app enhances the highpitched sounds of the speakers voice making it crisper with consonants s t b g and others more clearly heard This feature alone can give you the clues you need to understand a string of words Recommended for occasional use It makes a difference

How do you turn it off Had a fan running on low TV on I could hear the fan more than the TV Tried it out at a restaurant but it increased the background noises more than the voices of the people I was sitting with am I doing something wrong here When I was finished using it I couldnt find how to turn it off so I closed the app maybe thats how its supposed to be turned off idk How do you turn it off
When I try to start test a pop up appears telling me to set earphone to max volume I do so and click OK then try to start Then the popup reappears ad infinitum I have requested help from the app writers Cant start app
Im 70 deaf in my left ear and 50 deaf in my right I think its pretty cool once you figure out the advanced settings Its pretty cool
I like the app I am starting to pay attention to my hearing because I work in a place with constant noise and I am getting older It works well through Bluetooth headsets and the sound comes from the headset when the profile is set Would like the option of setting my mic options between the headset or phone though to give me more options as well as better noise cancellation Solid app with room for improvement

The hearing test works well just like at the audiologist And once youve created your profiles quiet or TV etc use the dial to increase the volume Also be sure to use the slider on your screen to go from earphones to mic icons when you want to talk so your mic doesnt pick up your own speech Amazing
I installed this app for my father who has hard time hearing regular conversation He told me that this app with apple ear phone is much better than his 5000 hearing aid One thing I would like to have is a small wireless headset that works as good as wired headset Great app
Wow Iam a 50 something rock and roller with poor mid range hearing and poor this is a super Cheap hearing aid I use it with my blue ant Bluetooth wireless Stereo headphones it picks every noise upits not as good ash hearing aid Kicks Butt
Im not deaf but Ive tested out this software on a deaf person who wasnt able to hear normally from long time Ive set the frequency as per his hearing mood the result was far from his normal routinehearing deafness During this he also notified me several hearings where we are used to for instance birds singing children noise playing outside etc I could hear these too and Im used to these Ive asked several questions and Ive tested this by speaking from different distance and also in different moods In short as per his response the result was best I think software like this needs to be promoted for ppl who are in need Giving is best communication Thanksdeveloper Useful Software for esp Deaf Ppl

Ive tried several of these apps and I like this one best because of the hearing test feature The processor adjusts to accommodate my bad hearing Fantastic
Its really awesome how you can save profiles for different conditions in car outside the quiet of 3am or when the quiet is interrupted by the deaf ladies TV downstairs Just take hearing test during what ever condition of ambient noise and your adjusted for best possible hearing for that exact condition And it stays running never shuts off Even when you move to work with another app So yes you can spy just shut phone off and screens black but not the volume Best amplifier app
This is the good app for my hearing Ill give 5 star if it not slow down my iphone 4 too much Anyway I love this app Thank you so much for making good app for FREE maybe I need to donate some money to developer Good
