In my opinion this is THE best app for a pilots reference to the FARs AIM and NTSB 830 For me the ability to organize by creating sub folders for quick reference to Part 61 Part 91 Part 135 and CFI bookmarks is awesome Everything is kept up to date by constant updates so no need to worry about studying outdated material When needed tech support is quick to respond to your questions or problems Great app One of my favorites                     Awesome app and support SkyKing53

Six years ago when I first wrote a review this app was an authoritative and frequently updated FAR AIM source But it hasn t been updated in well over a year despite my lifetime subscription promising multiple updates every year The app has become an unreliable aging snapshot of what the FAR AIM used to be but is no longer     Once great app has died Graylaw46

I ve used this app for years as a commercial airline pilot and Civil Air Patrol pilot It s terrific and has an incredibly fast search capability Their customer service is also top notch Emailed and had a response within an hour on a Sunday no less Content is updated monthly for subscribers You can t beat this App                     Amazing App and Service SkyKinginaJet

The app regularly asks me once per quarter maybe if I want to check for updates No it doesn t tell you what s changed unfortunately but no app I ve used does However the bookmarking highlighting features are the best out there You can create as many bookmarks as you want create bookmark folders and easily organize and rearrange bookmarks Highlighting is a great feature but what makes it the best in this app is the ability to easily unhighlight and it saves your highlights even if the section has updates Also the subscription is valid across multiple devices I use only one subscription for my iPhone work iPad and personal iPad Furthermore I am paranoid about data loss and appreciate the ability to backup my bookmark highlighting data to my DropBox This also allows the ability to transfer bookmarks highlights between devices Yes it s a recurring subscription and not a one time fee but it s less than buying a paper copy every year and for me it s totally worth for the extra features                     My fav FAR AIM app willykool

It made to look free but you can t access anything on it without paying All this is available in a free from the FAA website I simply deleted the app and went back to the FAA         Not free Papahhhhhh

This app has a nice search engine when it works and will find areas of interest with just a few words The words don t even need to be in order The problem is that when you search for 10 000 feet it will see the comma as a separator and search for any passage that contains 10 000 or feet There is no way to know what s changed in the regulations When it updates you get no feedback as to where to locate changes This means you need to read the entire regulation on a regular basis and try to memorize passages so you can recongize the changes The app will try to update in flight It doesn t check for a connection to the server before suggesting you update It asks you if you would recommend the app I always answer no If I want to recommend an app that s my business and not the developers             Pros and Cons -DRS-

I think your app is the best of the best First it encompasses all FAR Parts with updates that take less than a minute to accomplish Second you can do w work she search to display all sections containing those words and then easily navigate to the specific part of interest I use this app to find specific regulations that I incorporate into a cloud based IS BAO application What is needed with this application is a method to identify flag sections that have been updated for the current year                     Great except for one important small item PJF43

As far as I can tell there is no great FAR AIM app but this the best I could find You can bookmark and highlight passages There is a glossary and a help wiki The content seems up to date though there has not been an app update since late 2014 I am a commercial pilot in training and it has met my needs                 Best of the Lot Mur-man

App quit prompting for updates earlier this year Didn t catch that My fault A while back when asked about the new 91 155 VFR Class G requirements for helicopters I confidently whipped out my trusty FAR AIM and stated Naw that ain t in effect yet And recently the app blanked out all of my content with a request to renew my subscription which doesn t expire for another month I will look elsewhere for a more trustworthy source of such important and liable information     Stopped updating then blanked out info Danjmo

I purchased the app a while back for my iPhone 3GS and have been nothing short of pleased with its performance and price I recently purchased an iPad mini and loaded the app but when I tried to re activate my subscription it didn t work After trying all the normal fixes stop the app erase and reload etc I sent an email to the developers over the weekend First thing Monday morning I received an email that first apologized for the inconvenience and then provided a hyperlink and step by step instructions to fix the problem The solution resolved my issue quickly and easily In the current day where custom service seems to be a bother this was a breath of fresh air I look forward to purchasing more of their apps                     Great app even better customer support Cap-10

I can agree with other comments about this app since I am also a flight instructor It s way better than a book for so many reasons there is no way I could go back but the only request I would add is if there was a way to see the areas that were changed in the update like it does in the book with a black mark to indicate the areas that were changed That way it would be easier to keep track of any pertinent important regulation changes That would be the only improvement I can see Otherwise an excellent app                     Perfect App RotorCFI

Great E version of the FAR AIM I love the feature that let s you highlight and send specific sections via email I recently replaced my iPad and could not use my FAR AIM I recommend you spend the extra on the subscription version The developer got back to me within the week to help me out                 Good customer support 17echo

This is the premier reference for all serious pilots and especially flight instructors FARs AIM PCG right at your fingertips searchable and a lifetime subscription that costs less than one copy of that big fat book I have been using this for years and have my most frequently needed resources bookmarked and highlighted When I whip it out and immediately zero in on what I was looking for it makes me look like a real expert The truth is I just know where to look I had one glitch when I upgraded to a newer iPad I emailed customer support and my glitch was solved in 24 hours There is just simply nothing to complain about with this product Easily a 5 star app Buy it                     Outstanding App Timsta12345678910

You have to buy the premium version to get all the chapters The content is there but it is dimmed out and very hard to see A red flag says to buy the premium version         It s really not readable doggster

I use this app with students to show the hierarchy of FARs and appreciate not having to lug a hard copy around It has the best organization of any FAR app in in my opinion and YEARLY SUBSCRIPTION is cheaper than buying a new hard copy every year not to mention hard copies are basically out of date the moment they re printed                 Useful App Zachary Waddell
