Plane Finder 3D

Not only is the database limited but it simply doesnt work Even if you look at the airport you want     DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Zero     Does not work Locks up

True this doesnt work everywhere but they clearly list which airports it DOES work at and its a lot worldwide Further the 3D is fast on my iPhone 5 detailed no lags Worth the 99c for sure Gripes panning works the opposite of what Im used to Has just a small fraction of all the planes the 2D Plane Finder has around the given airport              Better than I thought

This app wasnt able to find flight MH370 to Beijing How do you lose a 777     Plane Finder Doesnt live up to name

The idea is pretty good but the app keeps crashing Every time you touch a plane The app closes and youre back to the home screen At least on my set up but that looks like a common complaint Just a couple of suggestions 1 Update the app to show the type of aircraft being flown Currently all aircraft represent Boeing 777s 2 Update the app to reflect the current liveries on the Various types of aircraft Being flown If those updates are implemented and the app does not crash this would be an awesome app        Has potential

Like the 2D app this one is starting out rough It needs a few things to become a truly useful app 1 Choose anyplace to view planes You of course want to see the planes in your area 2 Better graphics If you are using a cockpit view on a landing plane the terrain is a pixelated mess The views should be as good as Apple or Google Maps Extra points for 3D buildings on the map 3 Bug fixes Not very stable at this point I bought this app in the hopes it becomes as good an app as the 2D version has The 2D app was very bad but has matured into a great app I hope this one does as well        A good beginning

Scam Dont buy Only shows a few airports and a few miles around them     Essentially a scam Website and info suggests it covers the US It doesnt

I love the plane finder original but I downloaded the 3D and it doesnt have Las Vegas as a location so it does me no good        Needs more locations

I think they are really on to something but seems buggy with very limited locations and planes        Cool but needs more work

This us my first review This app does not work period Crashes every time No pun intended     Total waste of money and time

Im astounded I really should write more reviews but havent in well over a year plus when in app begging started getting pervasive I just experienced sitting in a plane complete with pitch roll and yaw as it started its approach to JFK I was completely mesmerized and made it a point to stop and write this before I even got to land I may be fortunate to be in an area with coverage but even with coverage there are less planes than in regular planefinder However I truly dont believe you miss much by not experiencing being in a local plane with this app You are able to EXPERIENCE being in planes from all over the world IN REAL TIME and it is truly astounding Lack of coverage in the regular version of planefinder would severely impact my enjoyment of that application and you do lose out on the cool 3d view of the sky above you without local coverage The 3d sky overview is beautiful and kept me busy for a while However once I hopped on a flight I realized that the 3d view was just incredible window dressing and great UI for a much more profound new application idea Heres a hint to get the most out of the Fly Me functionality pick planes that are LANDING These planes are making more frequent flight adjustments and you can see the result against the ground as a reference Planes taking off are just looking at the sky with some clouds for reference so the experience is a bit diminished Just as in real life straight and level flight is boring so I dont suggest those for the best experience No wonder I rarely write reviews I end up writing novels but only for apps that deserve one And I forgot to mention no on app begging for reviews at least not yet Enjoy                 An AMAZING CONCEPT with really good execution 5 stars as I have faith the execution will be GREAT
