A 3D guide to the solar system for aspiring astronomers. Over 3 million downloads so far "2D Sky" shows sun, moon, constellations, planets "3D Sky" adds constellation names, horizon, ecliptic ...
This app has many ways of showing what s going on around us It was fun to use during the recent Solar eclipse and its really easy to use Great for everyone                     Love it cathyh
Great app if you need it you gonna love it Also easy to use                 Great app
When are you gonna update your app           Update needed
The quick go to app for all sky watchersIve had this app for a while and it is invaluable for QUICK reference points in the sky You will love this                 Planets
I love this app and its good for science and earth and moon projects The solar system can never stop                 Its one amazing app
This is a great app and they keep adding features I especially like how it tells me the times for todays sunsetsunrise and twilight beginend                 A must have
I love this app best after trying several others Its extremely easy to find what stars and planets you are looking at in the sky with its built in compass Other apps I get so turned around I dont know what Im looking at This one is definitely the easiest to use                 Easy Simple to use
Can we get an update still does not fit my iphone screen                 Need update
If you are new to stargazing or a seasoned pro this app is awesome It is so easy to find celestial objects in the sky by just pointing your iPad and never consulting a star chart Then point your telescope in that direction and enjoy Tremendous app The greatest Thanks Dana                 Astronomers Companion
This app use to work great The 3D sky map no longer works with iPhone 6 Anyone else having this problem 2D map works fine Hard to us 2D map in a 3D worldsky        3D map not working with iPhone 6
The 2D works great the 3D has the compass headings about 90 degrees out of whack please fix this and make it great again           Was great until iOS 8
Brilliant tool for amateur stargazers Intuative interface Accurate Dependable Beautiful Thank you                 Excellent
At last An app that actually does what it says does not crash and EXCEEDS expectations Fantastic If you like looking at stars and ever wondered which ones were which you will love this I encourage all parents to get this for their kids It will delight and educate at the same time                 FAVORITE APP
PLEASE make app compatible with iPhone 6 screen              Great but
Great app that I have used not only personally but with my students as well The moon phases need some editing as a waxing gibbous comes before the full moon and waning gibbous is after              Great app
However cardinal directions are backwards West is east north is south Dont know why this happens on mine                 Love this app cant get enough of stars
I love this app Its perfect for the astronomy enthusiast who has forgotten everything they learned in college                 Great App
I hate it soooo much     Bad
I love the app since way back I would like to have an update so that it will fit the whole screen              Update
I loved it Thank you for making it free I will be sure to tell all my classmates Well done                 Owllovergirl44
I have 2 astronomy apps and this is my goto app when I want to know instantly whats in the night sky Easy to use and interpret Great app                 I LOVE THIS APP
Hi I love ur app but there is 3 things that bother me 1 is Uranus spins up and down not side ways 2 is Neptune has rings Not the big ones like Saturn just small ones but theyre visible Last bug not least 3 is if the planets are live on my phone than why can I move them spinning wise Huh Those are mg problems but other than that the app is great Thanks Sincerely My iPhone              Planets
My favorite part of this app is the visibility page I love being able to quickly tell which planets are in the sky at a given time I only wish it were updated to support the new screen sizes                 Great even without updates
I love that app it really makes me more happy to think about the planets and stars                 Planets
Ive been using this app for years Its perfect really and absolutely essential in my opinion If you have any interest in the stars you owe it to yourself to download this                 Essential
It is simply wrong Places as simple and obvious objects as a Moon and Jupiter in completely wrong places using WiFi GPS Try it yourself to see how crappy this app is     Accuracy
Hey uhhhhhh how about a software update Havent had one in 2 years     Software Update
I occasionally use this app when trying to track the planets I always thought it was close to accurate until tonight I had to use another resource to confirm the location of Venus tonight The app shows Venus directly below the moon but it is currently located about 15 degrees to the right And upon further inspection all of the celestial bodies are slightly off Location services are on and working so that wont explain the inconsistency The app works to give a general idea but there are better apps           Not always accurate
A update to the app is urgently needed App is showing its age        Planets
They stopped supporting this So sad It was really awesome     Was great
I would give it 5 stars if it would show north in the correct orientation in 2D Its always 180 degrees off              Good app
Will you be adding Pluto to the app soon                 Pluto
Has everything I need for astronomy                 Amazing
The program is really awesome Lots of little things to find and just fun all around Thank you for this program I have turned off automatic location though because I dont like how it is always tracking me even when the app is not in use                 Great Program
So many over the top positive reviews And why are the only choices for access to your location never and always Why no only when app is in use like so many other apps offer        Somethings funny
The more and more I use this app the more Im in awe of the genius of this app Good Job                 Pure Genuis
This a great app a specially for its price                 Totally Worth It
love it                 Very satisfying
Now it continuously orients you to the direction you were facing when you turned on sky3d instead of reorienting itself after a few seconds Funny if you want to convince anyone under 30 that north is south which doesnt take much effort anymore           App was great until ios8
The Absolute Best thing to have when you are sitting on the toilet of an office building belonging to a soul crushing DuPont facility in the repugnantly malodorous Podunk outskirts of Nowhere One may come to realize by looking at the stars that this is just a moment in the smallest part of the inconceivably immense beauty of the cosmos                 The Most Important App
All it does is tell you when the planets are visible     Has no substance to it
No search that I can find Polaris is not even close to Polaris Why cant we have google sky on iOS Its ok to be my search engine Be nice        Gay
Great app using this one since 2012 Everything super but it really need update                 Absolutely fantastic but
Ive had this app for a few years and Ive loved it but ever since I switched from an iPod Touch to an iPad Mini the app keeps crashing It wont set the location and it wont stay open long enough to make it work I hope this is fixed soon           Great until it crashes
I would give it 5 stars But the city lights on the globe look like it was 100 years ago And the planets should have the daylightnighttime too Otherwise Ive had this app for 3 years Love it              Fantastic
Love finally being able to recognize the constellations and as an amateur it makes everything easy to use Watch the short videos to learn quickly how it works                 Perfect
Its just so awesome man                 Amazing app
I would like to say that this needs to be updated for the iPhone 6 and 6 plus format But otherwise this app is great Please make a little bit more of an adjustment              This app is Good But
Very cool and very impressive I wish it comes with different languages not just English              Planets
The earth globe has a glitch the sun rises in the east and sets in the west you have it backwards     Fix it
