>> This app requires iPad 4, iPad Mini2, iPhone 5S or higher << Ripplemaker: a West Coast Flavored Modular Synth The freedom and versatility of a modular synth in a stylish mobile package. In typical West Coast fashion ...
Awesome but please add Locrian and Mixolydian to scale modes and possibly even a custom scale option Locrian in particular would be great                 Scale modes dokoissho
Super responsive Awesome programming and sounds                     Phenomenal synths by this developer Vpich.....
This app is one of those rare Swiss Army instruments that I use for leads arp bass percussion drums soundscape I actually begin 75 of my projects with a pulse of 2 notes in RMaker This is one of those house music tools you can incorporate even into a DJ set as a neat way to spruce up well known and over played tracks Finally the developer is balls out serious into his business and a smart dude This is a MUST buy for anyone who does any kind electronic music Peace                     Special App is Special RUST(i)K
I own every product from this developer I am in support of developers embracing the AUv3 standard especially when it sounds this good Lots of consistency and simple but powerful control options Lots of constant updates with new features Highly recommended                     Active and Responsive Developer Great Sounds AUv3 what more could you want Mark Thomas Walker
Does a great job of recreating realistic modular sounds with lots of flexibility Other than the characteristic sound my favorite part is playing with the sequencer probability triggers                     Modular tones and fun to go BluesStatic
Almost every iOS synth falls into the East Coast subtractive synth architecture pioneered by Moog Ripplemaker stands alone as a West Coast synth more in line with a Buchla or Make Noise O Coast As a consequence the oscillator and filter are different in character and produce a unique sound The app sounds great has normals default signal routing if you choose not to patch it and provides an enormous amount of fun On top of that the developer is an active member of the iOS music community an enthusiastic user of his own and his competitors apps always looking to improve and very responsive to suggestions and feedback Highly recommended                     Unique among iOS synths and great fun to play John in MA
If you re just a preset surfer you might be happier with a different synth app But if you want to open your horizons to a whole new experience in modular synthesis and aren t adverse to learning or at least experimenting just get this Bram Bos is a total favorite developer Everything he does is golden update 7 18 2017 Bram Bos does it again He just released a patch to work around a bug in another developer s host app until they provide their own fix That s beyond the call of duty                     Fabulous if you like to tinker wareismike
Edit Recent update added banana jack style stacking outputs Thanks for such a quick addition Edit It s a good west coast inspired semi modular Similar to the MakeNoise 0 Coast I think Please implement a single row of jacks underneath the current knob jack UI for some simple attenuverters mixers It feels a bit too limited patching wise Also in that space consider adding some type of clock divide and multiply feature for gates clocks Or even if there were a way to attenuate and invert each patch cable on the way to its destination somehow A way to sync divide multiply the Sample Hold rate with a clock square wave input An input to the Sample and Hold Noise normaling is great by default but an override input to replace it with another module output would be ideal Also have noise as a separate output Please add a gate input jack for the cycle button on the slope generator to turn it on off I love this feature of Maths in eurorack and it would do well here Another great addition would be cv over the delay parameters Possibly add a second audio rate oscillator to complement the existing one would be nice to free up the slope generator for other duties when doing standard cross modulation west coast FM Patches I use a hardware eurorack format modular so the patching versatility is really important to me The more CV control the better Still a fun app to use as is And you can certainly make some cool tunes easily with this app Thanks for the synth Make it just a bit better if you can please                 Superb but needs a few improvements ThePro2112
beautiful sounds and a great manual for the modular challenged me the krell patch example and explanation alone is worth the price                     west coast love organofqwerty
I got this just as a curiosity I bought it on Monday and after playing with it for a couple of hours decided to make it a central part of my performance on Tuesday It worked great And now with banana style patching I can see this is going to be fun for a long time Cheers Bram Bos                     My favorite new app Eban_Crawford
All of the Bram Bos apps are worthy purchases This one sounds surprisingly good and is a very familiar interface for 0 coast owners I find myself making a generative patch and then just listening to it for way too long                     Sounds great Thermos79
I ve been wanting a modular app with more of a West Coast flavor and this fits perfectly Though I wouldn t mind a second slope generator to replace the ADSR which would lend itself a bit more to the West Coast style or a way to switch that module between the two But that s a minor request this app is exactly what I ve been looking for and overlaps with actual modular gear I have so I can use it as a sketchpad for real patches Great job Thanks                     Exactly what I ve been looking for xasey
This is not for the faint of heart or lazy person that just wants quick presets It s for sound exploration In order to get the most enjoyment out of this little guy you need to be an experienced synthesist or aspire to be one At least you don t have to blow 500 to find out if that s you                     how deep does the rabbit hole go Coolycoolll
If you don t know what a modular synthesizer is you probably shouldn t get this not unless you re willing to do a little bit of reading and experimenting The one reviewer rating this poorly makes a good point about this probably not being a great beginner app But his disappointment could have been avoided had he taken a cursory look at the ins and outs ha ha of modular synth patching etc If you are familiar at all with serious music making in iOS then you would probably notice right away that the keyboard screenshot displayed is clearly the keyboard in Cubasis It is un missable or at least it should be In addition I m pretty sure most if not all of Bram Bros apps are used as audio unit plug ins in your fave DAW Duh So what I m trying to say is please disregard that review If you have any familiarity with using modulars you will enjoy this app I personally like the anachronism of a software instrument that requires you to manually form patches It s quaint and while it isn t really an ideal modern workflow unless you are very familiar with how modular synths work it is a tried and true interface in which the journey by which you reach a particular patch is just as important as the final sound you create                     It s a modular synth B3AR5H1T
Guess that s it imbedded into something else Just a fidgety unintuitive sequencer with no instructions except on their website Sounds ok but this shouldn t be aimed at beginners or the inexperienced     Misleading pictures there s no keyboard Ellivenud
Elegant fluid musical I have been on the edge of my seat waiting for this app and I am not disappointed It embodies the kind of gracious organic potential in West Coast machines while retaining the capacity for all the raucous aggressive sounds that defy imagination It comes closer to the playable instrument for me in the same way the Animoog does and does so by resembling the machines that inspired it much more Can t say enough good things All the connectivity you could dream of enough to spur you into new territory Applause                     A new voice reviewsaremisleading
Great little synth with all the right feel Very creative and intuitive to get new sounds Easy connections to Ableton via Link inter app connection via AUv3 and AUdiobus 3                     A must have ctuller
Beautiful new app from Bram Bos All of this devs apps are awesome and well supported He is very active on the Audiobus forum Get all of his apps You will not be disappointed                     Just get it anickt
