Safari Queue

I am getting so much more out of my Safari account now that I can take my Queue with me on my iOS devices Regular updates have been awesome                 Great companion to a Safari subscription

I have lost all the videos that I have downloaded for 2 months very frustrating experience and very unhappy also app closes abruptly in mid of training     Very unstable app

I dont write app reviews often but This is an app I like and a service I love I can find almost all the titles I need add them to my list and on iOS access them offline Gone are those days when I used to buy expensive IT book just to watch them get outdated Also I dont think that one book or one author can give almost all the angles but when you read about one topic across many books written by many authors you really get it I love this service and I like the app                 A good App For An Excellent Service

Bravo five stars I dont bother to write reviews that often this might be my second one But the difference between the old Safari To Go and this is like night and day Its too bad Im only on a 30 day trial                 Huge upgrade from the old app

While its great to have the Safari queue so readily available the fact that I cant navigate between sections of a book without going to the table of contents really ruins the flow of reading It would be a lot better to have something like that           Queueing is good but the experience of reading isnt

is Safari books and this app Super easy to use great search facility and more books and videos than you can consume in a lifetime Im hooked for life                 Developer heaven

Still sends me to the App Store to download Safari To Go which I already have installed Might be great I have no idea     Still useless

As a subscriber who used the previous app I kept wondering why the old iOS app was not getting any love now I know its because they were working on this gem Queue hit it out of the park The books download into a beautiful color scroll view and videos can now be played and watched offline Great work iOS team                 Queue is how Safari is meant to be used

Let me understand thisso people with older accounts have to deal with bad UXUI while the new members can download the new app This is absolutely messed up     Legacy safari books

Love the feedback live chat feature and the design refresh Looking forward to seeing more the releases just keep coming Id love to be able to remove queued items                 Getting better with every release

Finally the horribly tiny download buttons have grown up into their adolescentadult selfs Already making the user experience better and I only downloaded the update a few minutes ago Great content and now the UI is catching up I guess next on my wish list would be more control over the Queue from the phone eg removing items from the queue and better control over downloads                 YES

I updated it and now it doesnt work at all     DO NOT UPDATE

Books never load correctly it does not matter if they are downloaded or not     Website is great The app is pretty much useless

I need to be able to search for books and add them to the queue from within the mobile app                 Need option to add to queue

I just discovered Safari books and I am smitten The library itself is amazing The app does a great job of accessing the library except for two annoyances that I expect to get fixed in a future update 1 App will freeze on a page This will happen when a book is downloading or if you change some setting Or when skipping around chapters from the table of contents I dont really know if there is a pattern it just happens to me a lot I fix this by restarting the app 2 Night reading mode is useless The only text that shows up are titles and citationfootnote markers More of a trifle I would like a sepia reading option Besides that reading on this is a pleasure and the sheer convenience of accessing your queue cannot be overstated This the kind of library services like scribd simply cannot afford to offer without changing their model              Exceptional Except for Two Bugs

There are some basic features that one would expect from a service as well established as Safari 1 Page navigation Why cant I navigate across chapters while on any page in a book 2 Why doesnt the app remember where I left off reading within each book in my queue 3 Why doesnt the app stream video training content to Apple TV It only streams the audio Come on guys copy Kindle reader if you have to Looking forward to the next version     Not there yet

Nice way to reward your faithful clients We are now considered legacy customers and punished with an old app riddled with bugs Cynical way of pushing your pioneer clients to get out or spend twice as much The way you treat your legacy customers is the way you treat all customers     Long term Safari custumer stuck with old app

Safari Queue is awesome I love that I can access my books and videos on all of my devices                 Use it all the time

The apps and website used to be so feature rich and really catered to their audience intelligent people Now its stripped bare and impossible to use as a reference It looks prettier BFD Theyve completely forgotten who their audience is a dumbed the Safari books experience down to almost being completely worthless Im glad my employer paid for my annual subscription because its such a waste of money I find myself avoiding the site as much as possible Ill definitely ask that my account not be renewed next year     Terrible

Hard to believe a book reader app in 2015 does not have the ability to search for text in the book Very disappointing app     No search in the book

I try to login and it just takes me to the App Store page for downloading their other app Safari to Go Does OReilly ever read their own howto books Sad     Broken on arrival

I hate the old app This is much better However It would be nice if this could support more poweruser features like highlighting note taking document searching              much better

Posting because Im sure others are trying to decide between the old Safari Books Online app and this new Queue app Here are my initial thoughts re Queue Pro Much better reading experience on iPad Seems more stable Con Cant read without downloading the entire book to my iPad I believe on the old app it only downloaded the pages you were reading Yes you had to have connectivity but overall took up much less space on the device So you cant even check out a book on the iPad you have to download it first But they have made it easy to delete a book if you dont need it           Trying to Decide

At first i dont understand how this app is different from Safari books online app But I thought ill try When i try to login to thisSafari Queue app It directly pops up my Safari books online So i dont know what is happening     I dont understand how to use this

As a developer my company once supplied us with Safari and I found it to be amazing When I was in a jam I could go to Safari and find aTechnical book the help me learn just what I needed to I now pay for it on my own because it is more than worth Now with this app I can take my books with me any where I go                 Great app

I see the dev are working hard at bringing update often and as a customer that make me feel like my money is been well spend I love all the new feature the only I miss from the old siteapp is the ability of create listfolder to organize the material Im reading by subject it would be a great plus if you guys could add that functionality to the siteapp                 Great improvement

Ive been a Safari subscriber for 7 years and recently upgraded to the New platform with Que I read almost every day Also love the feedback feature Russell responded personally versus some automated bot Great job Safari                 My favorite app by far

I really like the collection of content having just graduated from Safari but words have the nasty habit of being broken across two lines in the Queue app I find this VERY distracting I rarely write reviews but this issue merits a review since it annoys me so        Annoying line breaks

Im sure this app is great but unfortunately when I log in it simply switches to the App Store page for the main Safari app I downloaded the Safari app but this one still does the same thing I would love if the developers could tell me how to use this     Cant access the functionality

This app and its library is amazing Going to purchase for my entire team If I could make 2 changes it they would be Allow paging instead of scrolling like kindle The other is allow us more background and color choices              Should have for every professional team

With 14 it keeps getting better This app has become an even more effective way for me to learn through Safari while on my iPhone Being able to search for titles queue titles from within the app highlight key information and now provide feedback direct to Safari are all very valuable app features for this Safari fan                 A must add for Safari users

When compared to Safari To Go extremely poor user interface readability and navigation Worst is the performance seems just HANG Have to repeatedly kill the app and try again Hate it and feel ripped off Apparently Safari dont offer Safari To Go for new subscribers     Horrible

The app crashes about 9 times out of 10 that it is opened Love the app when it opens but I can hardly get it to open without crashing I just get a grey screen upon opening and it either hangs or closes itself        Crashes All the time
