I was a paid subscriber for one year downloading data for a large chunk of the contiguous US Initially the App worked well but then data downloads would terminate prematurely App Support responded promptly however the usual fixes hard reboot reinstall did not fix the problem After several iterations I gave up in disgust and changed to a different App     Will not update all charts and plates CheshireKatt48
I ve been unable to Download anything     Incomplete so Ho Be

As of September 2014 FlightPlates is far behind the functionality of the popular electronic flight bag applications It can do a Direct To from your current position It can find airports using just the name instead of an official ID Maybe that is all the trial version it is supposed to do But that does not inspire me to buy it         Not ready in 2014 N70MP
This app is great I use it as a backup or when flying a basic airplane without an electrical system I have an iPhone 4 and it works fine                 Simple gets the job done Blrmflight
