I ve been using this stat application for over 3 years now and I have other vball stat applications in my device as well but I always revert back in using this stat program even though I have to pay an annual subscription fee because of its ease of use One issue that I recently encountered is the constant pop up advertisements that I keep having to close which takes away actual time in doing stats I understand the use of pop up advertisements when the apps are used for free but for a paying customer like myself that addition is not a benefit to me and probably from other customers point of view as well Please fix your advertisement policy for already paying customers                 Great stat app but @CoachWil32

I agree with VBNE1 It truly makes stat taking much easier and quicker I wouldn t mind the 20 per year IF I could actually see the stats for the match I only used this once because when I was finished with the match I had to tally up the stats from each game to get the match stats to send into the newspaper It seems like it would be an easy fix but to this date still no match stats Please fix this I know that many other teams are using VBTAP but this program with one seemingly minor fix would easily surpass all their competition So close yet so far             Getting Close Erics313

SoloStat 1 2 3 Review SoloStat 1 2 3 gathers stats on the last contact of a rally only much like the Plus Minus stats that many coaches are already taking but is now nearly fully automated This reduces the number of stats one needs to take in a match considerably and allows you focuses only on the skill good or bad that ended the rally for or against your team the most important stat The app is easy to set up and easy to implement The stand alone provides some rudimentary stats such as points won lost per rotation net points for each player that played on your roster and a point log The app costs 19 99 per year a bit steep The fact that you have a subscription for the app is a real turnoff It means that you have to fork over 20 a year to use the same app year after year Yuk And at 20 a year you can t even share the data with your coaches There are no print or export features to your computer This is a real killer However for another 20 a year you get much enhanced stats online Data is now exported not to your computer but to an online facility However the big downside of this is that in a lot of gyms you rarely can get a cellphone iPad carrier signal Also many iPad only have WiFi and at all of the gyms I ve been in the wifi is not available to outsiders So here you have collected stats that are nearly inaccessible on the road where you need them most Then when you get home the additional fee makes it much less desirable to own especially for club or high school coaches who have to purchases these niceties with their own private funds The online data is available for downloading and printing though The bottom line is if you can afford 40 a year SoloStat 1 2 3 is a great app Personally I hate subscriptions leases as who knows when they ll raise the yearly fee especially after you get dependent upon it                 SoloStat 1 2 3 review VBNE1?

Collecting and reviewing statistics of your team and players have been stressed at every volleyball coaching clinic I have ever attended CAP I CAP II Gold Medal Squared Advanced Rick Butler Coaching Clinics USAV JVDA and AVCA webinars and I agree with those recommendations So in my previous seasons of coaching club I have utilized various assistant coaches parents and myself to tally mark on sheets of paper and then transfer those tallies to various spreadsheets I have received from others or built myself for further analysis and use It is often late at night or very early in the morning that I have spent consolidating the tally marks during a 3 day tournament I have been an early tester of this software and my experience with SoloStats 123 has been excellent Once I got some practice under my belt using the program I was able to simultaneously actively coach the game while recording the error or success detail of each rally point for or against by player and by skill I have found that working with Junior age groups most of the feedback needed during a match or tournament is how to adjust to reduce mistakes and increase success in a particular rotation or through adjusting who is on versus who is struggling Solostats 123 gives me important information by player by rotation by opponent and much more It also has allowed me to provide valuable feedback to various players throughout the tournament day and as the season has progressed It gives me facts to make adjustments between sets or from one match to another The associated online web reports I use after each tournament allows me to look even closer at the team and individual player performance to adjust my practice plan and perhaps tweak my lineups going forward I believe that this software gives me everything I need to know in a match or during a tourney serve aces and errors attack kills and errors points gained by rotation passing error by player etc Also the program allows me to see the running score and who should be serving next A very good thing when the inevitable parent shouting score s wrong is heard in the background and you discover the flipper or scorekeeper is tweeting on their phone I find this app to be a great value and an important tool for the busy coach of today I recommend it for all levels of coaching                     A great volleyball stat program for the rest of us Vaarastan
