The software allows for the ability to customize the speed of the text but there is no way to save this either globally or locally within the script You have to reset the speed every time Another issue that needs to be addressed if you have enough scripts you cannot see the title when you enter it for new scripts Seeing what you re typing is only a feature for the first six scripts If these two issues were addressed I would be much happier with this software Decent but needs improvement slayergeek

Importing scripts is a crappy process If you don t use the iOS mail client you can t use email to open them in the app they open as just text files If you import from Dropbox it gives the scripts different names not respecting the name that you have for the file if you have a lot of scripts that s a royal pain Crappy process to have one app then sell a different one to get mirroring in app purchase maybe Then once you get that it promotes yet another app that replaces this one that will start with your voice No thanks Disappointing Swamplander1

1 Import is very clunky you need to change to a text file before importing and some characters do not translate well if you re coming from a Mac like a lot of us are 2 Anytime you import multiple scripts and rename them erasing a script shuffles the names So your names and lyrics don t match anymore 3 Settings are not remembered If you set a song to scroll at speed 5 then open another song and go back to the first song the speed is reset to default Makes it unusable in a gig I d be willing to revise and change this review if these bugs were addressed Otherwise stay away not a pro product Not ready for prime time Patzag
Don t buy it It does not import from any of the apps that it s supposed to The only way to make it work is to copy and paste from a txt file Also the scrolling is not as variable as it should be The best speed I have discovered is 14 1 2 but you cannot choose 1 2 speed Waste of my money Bummer HJLemarr
Trying to get the pace of a script is impossible I need to be able to adjust rate so that script hits a particular time frame The sliding pace adjustment is a joke It allows you to set pace from 1 to 50 I tried my script at 13 and it was too slow 6 53 so I tried 14 also finished at 6 53 One more notch to 15 and it finished in 3 27 Got to be able to fine tune it better than that Not helpful Wwgolfer58
The teleprompter itself works fine However every time you exit out of the app it deletes the names of my scripts and leaves me guessing every time if open the app Works ok but deletes script names Coreywilson95
I have yet to have this sorry excuse of a app to do what I need it to do Maybe I just don t understand how to use it but when I import text from either email or Dropbox it comes up gibberish when I try to use scrip I wish I had not wasted my money si-fi-dude
This is the worst teleprompter I have ever used It doesn t connect consistently with my standard bluetooth keyboard made by Logitech even though the keyboard is connected with my iPad and has always worked So that renders the controls useless Adding scripts is cumbersome at best Dev says that voice is coming in mid summer of 2015 well that came and went and I can t find voice controls There is also very minor functionality to this thing Is this a joke Developers support page offers very little help In my opinion stay away from it Just threw 6 99 down the tubes Good thing it was only 6 99 I actually would like my money back Don t waste your money Paramedia

As far as a Teleprompter goes when it is in motion yes it works fine but importing your script is a pain It states that you can import your script from a text file that you email yourself Well I did just that Following their directions I selected the text file it gives you the option to open in Teleprompter When you do that your file opens in the Teleprompter but everything s black there s no text I tried messing with the settings but nothing worked When you create a new file and save it and you need to change the title way that s real fun To do that you have to go into another section and click the area where the title goes ant the top of the page to change it but doing so you don t see what you re writing which is weird I had to figure it out myself by messing with my fingers on the panel This product has bugs and I would not pay the price until you hear that the bugs are fixed This item is not all that Vlloyd

This app worked EXACTLY as you would like for it to I easily pasted my text made a few minor edits within the tool itself adjusted the font size so it could be readable from 8 ft or so and tweaked the scroll speed It was so easy Just as i wanted it to be Could not ask for more Perfect Pinheadnc
The program is good and it runs well I have two beefs It will only hold three scripts We had to combine several scripts into one file to accommodate our shooting schedule Secondly when editing in the program when you highlight or change color of text the program takes you to the beginning or end I forget of your script so you have to scroll through to find your place again A major annoyance Good Program couple of flaws Uncle Ross

Must not be a big market for creator because heshe wont fix the major problem with the app the import text file I have tried everything and it wont work it will You hold onto text file on in your mailbox it opens up the open with you select the app it creates a blank file If you dont mind writing your scripts twice once on your computer and once on this program you maybe able to make it work other than that save your Just trying to get your money or doesnt care to fix prob
Okay Im not getting where these 5 stars are coming from but looking at this software now is just annoying and I feel like I wasted my money Can I please get it back Seriously here is the problem Freezing is one I noticed Im not the only one Also does not just keep scrolling through It stops at the end script HELLO Some of us need to do two or 3 takes to get it right on recording I want to be able just to wait till it scrolls on through and then start over again without have to walk up and restart the dang program AND if it is supposed to kep scrolling it aint possibly because of problem number 1 FREEZING And 3rd something really easy was left out A DELAY I have this free buggy Teleprompter but I can set to 5 or 10 seconds get in place and then start reading Not on this program or at least I must be missing it That is such a amature mistake because then again there is problem number 2 where I have to restart the script each time Dont buy this teleprompter program Stick with the buggy free one And that one was only buggy after I updated so they may just not have gotten to fixing it yet This one had promise but failed Dude what is up

I have purchased and tested several Teleprompter apps to narrate my YouTube videos and spend less time editing them Unfortunately I purchased Prompter Pro first but hated the difficulty in scrolling up or down the screen What a mess I wish I purchased the Teleprompter pro upgrade first before spending the money on prompter pro but Im happy that I now have a Teleprompter app that works fantastic Best 10 bucks I ever spent Love it for making YouTube videos

No controls to start stop this thing no listing of scripts no way to get back and fourth Sales page says you can import directly from iMail or Safari but doesnt tell you how to do so there are no icons in those apps that would import anything The only way I found was to copy and paste but that does seem to work because this plays from the bottom up Meaning it plays your script BACKWARDS Bah Some how the slider went from left to right not even sure what i did because i was banging and mashing all over the screen BUT Playing backwards does no good Worthless app no instructions in the app no instructions on his website I am looking for a refund and SHAME ON YOU Apple for approving this pile of dung Horrible you should be ashamed of yourself

Unfortunately I was suckered in to buying the upgrade after the latest iOS botched my iPad It worked okay for a little while but then has gone steadily downhill ever since Its buggy it doesnt import anything as promised editing gets harder and harder to do and if you are not on a keyboard it has become almost impossible Not worth the money when you can get the same issues with the free version On a positive note the developer will email you back in a somewhat quick turn around Try the free one first
Really great and easy to use I only wish you could control the scrolling from a complimentary iPhone app Other than that it works fine and at a reasonable price point Great and simple Missing one thing
I hope the developers read these reviews Although it gives the option to use MS Word App the only way to add your scripts is to cut and paste them Its tricky It took a while The other problem is that scrolling is difficult meaning when I set it at 14 it was too slow and it didnt keep up with me so I set it up one to 15 and that ended up to fast Its difficult to get it just right Guys keep tweeking please Could be great
This is a great start to a easy to use Teleprompter app so cool to be able to construct lyrics for songs and call them up on the fly I now have my iPad mounted to my mic stand no more paper lyric sheets off on the side this setup is so compact and very unnoticeable to the audience Thank you Getting there with Patience

Right after I downloaded this program the price changed from 7 to 3 Buyer beware I tried out the light version first the scroll seemed to work fine Saw that I needed pro version to import text file Downloaded it and found the TXT import to be very clunky no Dropbox support but the bottom line is that the Pro version is completely unusable because the controls that you use to get the text to scroll do not appear in the Pro version Complete waste of time and money I should have believed the bad reviews Do not buy Teleprompter Pro A waste of your money and time Does not scroll
Very basic teleprompter No way to arrange scripts alphabetically or in groups As a musician I wanted to use this for song lyrics during live performances but listing 40 songs in random order makes it too time consuming to find the song you need Another issue is the fact that each time you open a file the speed defaults to 25 Different songs have different tempos so having a default speed that needs to be readjusted for each song each time you open it makes this app only useable as a rehearsal tool And finally as someone else mentioned once a file is created you cant delete it For a basic teleprompter its OK at best but needs a lot of development Needs improvement

Teleprompter Pro does exactly what I need it to do The only strange problem is when editing the color of the background or the font it will snap to the end of the screenplay after youve made your change Thats really the only reason I dont give it 5 stars Other than that its very easy to use and looks great Pretty Much Perfect
Ugh I wanted to like this app but unfortunately its completely unusable It freezes constantly Then when its working and prompting for some reason it will just jump and skip an entire paragraph for no reason Its so frustrating Please fix this app I just wasted my money The free version is more reliable but I had to get the paid because I need the mirror mode feature Its freezes jumps

Trying to get copy into the app is like pulling teeth I tried using the emailyourselfatext file way that is described but did not work I ended up having to cut and paste the text in Once that was done highlighting or coloring is beyond frustrating as it will randomly change the color of text not selected Yeah if you want an app does half of its intended function and that will frustrate you to no end this one is for you Avoid

We had an emergency and the pro works great to get you through Even for talent who are camera shy it helps them get through the job so you dont spend the rest of your life with multiple takes When you need a prompter its there

As a professional I use this App on a day to day basis This App was installed on my other Apple iPad device older generation and was great to use I just recently repurchased this same exact App on my Apple iPad Air 2 and wont even let me edit the text I copy and paste in This is unacceptable when you cant even use half of the Apps functionality and needs to be fixed soon If I could give it no stars I would please fix App and I will fix this review Unable to edit text

I just bought this for one actor videos so they can read the script The prompter itself is fine but you do NOT need to purchase the full version as it doesnt offer many extras or allow you to title your scripts Youll have a bunch of different scripts named untitled Also there is absolutely 0 support after purchase Good luck if you need help with anything Youre on your own after purchase
