I am vocalist who is trying to learn solfeggio I purchased Jim Flesers book The Chord Wheel published by Hal Leonard and this app LOVE them both I sing in a choir and have difficulty finding the lower harmony part as I sing alto My habit is to sing the melody or soprano part My whole reason for learning Solfège is to try to find and hit a lower harmonizing note The great thing about this app for me is that when I play the sequence of ascending notes in a scale each one a chord I can hit the root note of the key It is the fact that the scales ascend in chords that makes it easy for me to find my starting note That is why I use this app rather than a piano app when I am singing with a choir The book and app are great for trying to add solfeggio prompts to musical scores For example if I am in the key of D I set the dial to the key of D Then I can see at a glance that I Do D ii Re E iii Mi F sharp IV Fa G V So A vi La B vii Ti C sharp I also learned a lot about major scale diatonic 7ths Thanks for the app                 Wonderful app for vocalists and Solfège

Totally NOT worth the money I agree Less than 13rd of the entire wheel is shown Have to pinch to see entire wheel But then its too small to see And this only works on the iPhone It may have been useful if it were written for the iPad As it is now its pretty useless I wish I could get a refund     Totaly a WASTE of Money

Just what I wanted the original chord wheel It even plays the chords when you tap them which is nice It does not however show the chord Perhaps that should be the next upgrade I dont like switching between chord wheel and guitar chord apps with every chord I play Thia is a great app though Maybe its a little expensive           Great App

The apps audio quit working upon updating to iOS 8 An update to fix this issue would be great              Like the app Problems with iOS 8

I was expecting this to be like the book that it is based on but its even less useable The price is entirely too much for the limited functionality and it took me too long to figure out how to use it to begin with Not intuitive at all it would have been better to just take a picture of the book cover instead of spending so much on this     Big disappointment

The real deal This is the ORIGINAL Chord Wheel finally brought to the iPhone Ive been using the original printed version of The Chord Wheel published by Hal Leonard for over three years and this app version is even better The guitar and piano chord voicings make it even more useful for noodling out pleasing new chord progressions for new songs Im using it on my iPad2 with 2x scaling and it works great looks great As a guitarandvoice songwriter with absolutely no music theory background Id pretty much given up on myself ever learning music theory in this lifetime Amazingly The Chord Wheel is releasing me from the constraints of that limitation and making sense of it as I noodle around creatively experimenting with new chord progressions for new songs Unlike GarageBand where Im sometimes limited to a constrained subset of chords Chord Wheel offers the full range of chords they are all available but theres a mapping that shows me whats going to work well together and why Great app Helps you bust out of your old habits and discover new musical combinations and progressions HIGHLY RECOMMENDED A great creativity tool for any songwriter or musician                 Fantastic

This app is great Much more easier than just looking at the paper But i would love for you guya to update this app At least let it show you the minor scales of that scale and also to be able to show you the scales that you tap or double tap                 LOVE IT

Very useful for me as an intermediate player who has been selftaught I wonder why the VI V of ii 7 sus4 isnt also marked Seems like it would be appropriate but perhaps there is logic to its omission Theres some latency in the chord playing but overall quite helpful              Great app

I was looking for an app that could show me any chord progression in the major keys and this was exactly the app that I was looking for The play function is a little clunky on the app but generally it works well and satisfied my expectations                 What I was looking for

I just wrote my first Grammy hit with the help of this little wheel Its not meant to give you all the answers to song writing but helps with development of ear training and basic song writing skills Just the tool needed for writers block                 Just the smallest little helpful tool

Its due for a major update Export midi files                 Love it

This is a fantastic app however it is almost four years since a software update IOS is now version 8 There needs to be some more capabilities added to this app Full iPad support The progressions shown like on the paper wheel When is there going to be an update There is no contact information on the web site              In need of a major update

This is really a great app The only reason I gave it 3 stars is due to the fact that its incomplete since it doesnt include the same setup with minor keys being the tonic           Interesting app

This app is designed for intermediate and above level players If you do not know how to find C C7 Cmaj7 Cm and Cm7 chords already then I wouldnt bother with this app just yet This app is designed to help you find those breath of fresh air chords which will help you resolve your progressions This app will not tell you which notes are in a chord So if anything this app would be a hinderance to you Learn all your notes on a piano and or guitar Then learn the five previously mentioned chordstriads Once you get a basic understanding of where all the chords are and how to find them learn some basic progressions such as IIVV and IIIVIIIVI If you are not familiar with anything I just mentioned then this app really wont help you much since you will still have to know where to find the chords on piano or guitar With that being said this app has really helped me resolve a few progressions Ive been working on I have found this app very useful              Not bad

The app mentions more voicings and more instrument sounds When are we going to see those           Where are the promised updates
