This app is just what the doctor ordered for getting my sense of rhythm together with its ability to randomly mute or mute in patterns Brilliant Its super easy to use has presets and the choice of sounds is awesome too Another plus is that for prog music its the only metronome that I know of that can do complicated accent patterns An excellent tool for musicians of any type                 Halleluja

I am glad I purchased this just for the randomizer alone which is a great tool I dont however use it as my regular metronome because the interface is too complicated What were they thinking It is way too hard to figure out how to simply subdivide a beat while accenting the beat andor meter        Great randomizer but too complicated

The metronome and function to ghost beats is great The interface needs to be improved There are no good options for subdivisions Interface is generally clunky           Good app poor interface

Metronomes can be the bane of some musicians lives and the endless pursuit of trying to play perfectly with them does not necessarily ensure temporal competency As a result the resourceful musician has learned to use the simple metronome in more creative ways by assigning different beat values to the click ie the click is beats 1 and 3 The problem with this approach is that it often promotes faster rather than stricter tempo The Time Guru Metronome app solves that problem perfectly and really helps to solidify ones sense of time As a professional percussionist and music educator I use the app to really help focus mine and my students rhythmic abilities at any tempo and in any meter another significant difference over a typical metronome If you are a serious musician or a teacher looking for a better way to really work on a students temporal skills this app is well worth the paltry 300 investment I cannot recommend it enough                 An invaluable teaching and learning tool

Ive tried other metronome apps for the iPhone and have found them to be a bit inaccurate The space between the beats changes ever so slightly causing the time to rush and lag This is the ONLY metronome app Ive used that keeps PERFECT time For the more advanced user the programming capability of this app is second to none Programming different time signaturessubdivisions is a breeze This app is a serious practice tool for the musician who wants to play along to odd time signatures And the mute feature is a great way to improve your basic sense of time as well GET IT                 The only metronome app you need

I am a 44 type of person and needed something to enhance my confidence with different time meters while having a little door for exploration as well After finding this app I knew it will keep me busy for many years to come The possibilities of combining multiple time meters and their sub divisions is quite limitlessyou can also add rests and create different accents etc there are also many types of click sounds and even a counting voice I mean what else could you ask from a metronome This app is ridiculous and the price is right My quest is overthank you                 The quest for odd meters ends here

Tap tempo is very handy But of particular value is the muting to help check your ability to keep time Muting can be random or a specific pattern I sent a couple of questions and got useful answers back right away I highly recommend this app                 Time guru

This has really helped me keep a constant time especially through fills which I tend to rush I use it every practice              Really helps with time

This is a cool app have a suggestion tho instead of randomlygradually dropping out individual notes in mute mode it would be good to be able to choose to drop entire measures randomlygradually instead That would help tempo training greatly since when the muted interval finally unmutes you would get at least a full measure to sync back up This would be very useful in live band situations as well and could be used to assure songs start at the right tempo but then fades out to let the musicians take over              Good App Have Suggestion
