I had been using the free version of ToDoist for 2 months and thought I would upgrade and try that out After three weeks of frustration with the extra features I decided to get my money back Well if you buy it through your app store ToDoist does not refund your money Guess I missed the fine print somewhere I really enjoy using ToDoist because it is the absolute best app for reoccurring tasks Frustrated
This app is fantastic Its simple user friendly and is a great way to keep tasks organized Great app
One of the main reasons that I chose todoist was its accessibility from many platforms which means that I can coordinate personal and work related tasks and projects I also intend to use it for goal setting Accessible from multiplatforms is real plus

Todoist is the best to do app for most uses It offers a robust free version and the pro version isnt necessary I subscribed to pro previously I do wish they would allow a description for each task rather than comments which break up the description into pieces and are intended more for descriptions They dont provide easy feedback mechanisms in the app so Im leaving it here And for the previous reviewer the new icon is dope and not blandly literal like the previous one It turns checkmarks into a military badge authoritative and it provides subtle visual cues Useful AND easy to use

This updated added two things a new icon and a splash screen While I have an opinion on the new icon I know as a designer that it doesnt matter However this splash screen to showcase it that comes up every time I switch to the app is too much It just wastes my time unlike the last version that would simply show my to do list right away If the update would of have added some new functionality to the app that would of been one thing But a splash screen to show off the new branding is a pointless update Come back with some useful features or some new iOS 9 search integration Wastes time
This feature is no longer working I try to select it and it does nothing This is disappointing because it was one of my favorite features Please fix On location reminder feature
Updated review first update in months just to push a new terrible icon that makes the app less useful in terms of badges For shame Give us a real update or the old icon back if you want your positive reviews back Old review Other task management appsproducts in the App Store typically are expensive single platform buying the iPhone version doesnt get you the iPad or OS X versions and either feature poor or obsessively featurerich This one doesnt have those problems The premium IAP gets you premium features on all other platforms as well The only thing keeping it from being perfect is the somewhat clunky interface for moving tasks between projects Not just an app a multiplatform tool
Update The new logo is fantastic I can read my badge icon number just fine There will always be haters I suppose Keep up the great work Update Love version 10 Especially the colorful bar across the top This app is truly spectacular Without having to pay a cent this app is as good as any other checklisttaskmanager out there Ive tried em all If you so desire to upgrade to premium 2mo it takes it to a whole new level even greater customizability and ability to filter by all sorts of criteria Im in law school and this is how I survive A great app switched from Wunderlist
As a designer myself I have to agree with a lot of other users in that the updated badge is not much of an update but a downgrade of design It is for this very reason that I will refuse to download the upgrade to this app Yes while such a judgement is harsh and the app itself is wonderful I dont believe in sugarcoated opinions Mediocre at best logo redesign

Honestly the date format is really getting annoying Everywhere in the app the dates are displayed the way I like them in MMDD format However in the Next 7 Days view the dates are displayed in DDMM format There is no way to change the date format there I dont know why its not consistent Additionally the Apple Watch app displays the time tasks are due in 24 hour format instead of 12 hour format These two problems are extremely annoying for me Annoying date format
Not only are you synced up everywhere Super easy and intuitive task adding The location reminders are the BEST Lets you Set up your own system of lists Mine is Master todo list All those items have no dates they just need to get done They all apply to a specific project with a specific due date Every single item in master list advances those projects Second list is waiting on although do to the multiple inboxes setting in gmail I might scratch this The title is self explanatory Third list somedaymaybe This is what lets me capture the storm of of random insights plans and ideas for later consideration Empty out into master lists or the trash This system helps you walk around confidently and with an empty and open aware brain thats able to shift to intense focus on cue cuz its not preoccupied and simultaneously lets you be receptive to those grand ideas and plans your unconscious brain constantly produces Remember if you dont actually DO anything with the unimaginable steam of original ideas that come to you everyday then your brain will know better than to waste your consciousness with any Excellent Task App and Amazing

Install this app to replace old to do list Free app does not allow you to prioritize welleasily repeat actions on a regular basis give alerts etc without buying premium at 429 dollars per year Also app takes a action that is placed on one day and moves it to another day without prompting Tasks are sometimes covered up on screen by banner for next day Really dont like this app Glitches

Upgraded to an IPhone 5 and Microsoft Outlook Tasks hardly works at all no search function a time reminder when opened goes to the top of the list of tasks not the task in question can only enter new tasks with Siri not keyboard I thought Todoist would give me better onphone access BUT We learn on their forums Todoist does not sync with Outlook tasks it only adds a window to Todoist within Outlook One cannot sync draganddrop or copy existing tasks into this software Too much time and effort to move all of my stuff into this Delete the app and move on Does not sync with Outlook

Seriously what on earth were they thinking I know everything nowadays are flat flat and flat but this is just beyond terrible Some may say this is just my knee jerk or whomovedmycheese reaction but no today or even 5 years from now this icon design will still be unacceptably bad no matter what the rational behind it really is I know some might also say Dude this is just an icon the app is still solid good and they are probably right but unfortunately for me I judge an app heavily even irrationally on its icon design other than just its features and functionality This icon seriously turns me off even before I launch it to use I reacted this way because I love this app Maybe they need to betatest icon design or something Sigh Worst Icon Redesign Ever

I was a fan of todoist and recommended it to many people But recently update broke the app App freezes and crashes frequently Widget became crap It doesnt even update with new items i add in todoist and i cant click anything on widget It is frozen Open todoist and add task buttons in widget dont work Click them does nothing Uninstalling App crashes and widget doesnt work after update
I dont even know where to start anymore God this is such an amazing app I would pay 100 monthly if only they had REAL startdefer dates See OmniFocus Ive seen THOUSANDS of request over the years for start dates and still nothing Come on guysI dont want to die without ever having start dates in todoist In the meantime Ill keep throwing my money towards the Omnigroups direction Amazing App
Like the update except for the updated logo The color of the logo is too close to the color of badges within the app making distinguishing the latter for the former difficult Besides the former logo was great and really needed no updating Its simplicity matched the apps ease of use Go Back

I have been using Todoist after using a host of other productivity apps and find this to be one of the best The apps simplicity keeps me motivated to use it its flexibility allows me to see my tasks any way I choose for the day by project by label and the email reminders have saved me on more than one occasion I can easily adopt the GTD management process or my own modified version if I choose and there is plenty of integration support with the email tools I use Plus the price of premium is affordable give how some alternative apps have gone overboard in charging for features that Id never use The free version of Todoist is loaded with a good amount of features so for some people the premium subscription may not be required Most importantly I have complete visibility into what I need to get done across multiple platforms mobile web and Todoist keeps it simple enough to motivate me to use it every day One of the Best
I have tried them all Things Clear Wunderlist 2do etc Todoist strikes a balance between simplicity and enormous power if you choose to use it Love the new design and logo One of the best
UPDATE I had to uninstall and reinstall for it to work on watch OS 2 Still doesnt work for complications on the watch Needs that for five stars UPDATE I LOVE ToDoist but it doesnt work with watch OS 2 I recently broke up with my long time task manager to use this I test out almost everyone I see Great features here Easy to use Solid on iOS Very easy to share projects and assign tasks UPDATE Ive been using his for quite a while now and I love it more than when I first started New iOS update is perfect Use it all day every day Does not work with Watch OS 2 complications
Ive been using Todoist to organize my life for almost a year now and it just keeps getting better I learn new tricks everyday to become more productive Todoist keeps me from forgetting important tasks and makes me feel accomplished every day Ive quit every to do app I tried before this one but think I will use Todoist for the foreseeable future Almost to a year of use
Beware the Premium subscription The software says it supports Outlook It does not specify that it only supports the Windows version The company has no intent on fixing the problem or fixing their advertising Really pretty frustrating Steer clear if you have Outlook for Windows until they deliver a solution Doesnt Do What They Advertise

After looking at the updated web Windows and Mac apps I was expecting the visual updates to also come to the iOS app I was completely wrong The app is still the old boring design with just an updated icon Nothing more Just an updated icon

I just deleted after knowing its 28 for premiumto just use features wunderlist offers for free I was looking for other options like better design etc but will never in my life pay that amount Ill just to back my good old app 28 dollars for premium
This is a great app very useful however it doesnt integrate at all with Apples default servicestell Siri to remind you and you dont get an update in Todoist I find it frustrating since I almost exclusively use Siri to handle reminders but I wanted a good list app so I could see my day and week laid out Thought this would work but it really isnt Good app but no integration with Apple services
