What an amazing game Where to start The soundtrack obviously Its haunting and ethereal moving compelling Thats the word Its compelling It makes a good game great and in this case amazingly so The game is pretty graphics wise It is short and sweet Bittersweet It takes a couple of hours to complete The game like Bastion is filled with narrative type dialogue that adds to the overall atmosphere It really pulls the whole story together Although the story is not very in depth it is still well told and kept me interested till the end The ending was very unexpected The controls can be toggled between analog style stick or pointnclick The battle system takes some getting used to Ive been a gamer for mostly my entire life and at times I found this game difficult Once you get the hang of it however its pretty easy Worth the money hands down Hats off to supergiant games for another amazing story told Story Telling at its Finest

It said all iPad minis are compatible however after I paid 5 bucks the game tells me i need a iPad mini 2nd generation This is false advertisement and should be changed I want my five dollars back If the game isnt compatible with a device the store shouldnt let you buy it or it should at least warn you before the purchase Dont trust the game

I have not nor will I likely ever play this game on my iPad I cannot comment on how this port controls or if it is changed in any way What I can say is that Transistor is a game that deserves your money Its just that good I bought it for support

this game seems amazing sadly i cant save and it crashes every time i reach level 2 right after i beat the big robot who has a sort of a machine laser gun if not easy five stars the visuals rock and the music as well FYI i have 64 gig 6 with more than 10 gigs free i really dont know why it keeps crashing when i reach level 2 Supergiant games please help this was not a free game is it crashing for anybody else

I know theres a quality game in here but the IOS play control ruined it for me I just dont feel like I have control over Red and the strategic moves I want to make On an iPhone 5 my strategic taps dont land where I want them to go and often times points on the battleground are obscured by the interface It felt like I was fumbling through each battle whereas I wanted to make particular moves Its disappointing because the art and story seems so cool but the frustration caused me to remove the app from my phone Disappointed by the Potential

I loved Bastion and was excited to see this make the iPad too Great type of game for long air travel Took me a number of times to make it to the first save point without interruption but once there I was ready to settle in for a long session Unfortunately I keep having an issue where the screen goes blank in the middle of battles in the second area I can hear from the sound that the screen input is still active but theres no visual display at all This remains true even if I go to iOS home screen and return This is with iOS 9 on an iPad Air 2 Random display bug halting progress

Slightly slower pace than bastion The game attempts to add a level of technicality to the rpg aspect with allowing you to actually pair abilities together for some great customization Music and tone is great just like bastion Worth it at 5 Try not to think of Bastion too much

This is one of the best mobile games I have ever played It is beautifully illustrated and runs smoothly on my iPad Air 2 IOS 9 The story is engaging the gameplay is addicting and the upgrade system is great Im on my second pass through the game and the enemies are harder now Something I like The challenges arent easily won and require thought and sometimes many tries also a good thing for a game There are tons of unlockables and I could see myself replaying this game many times Great job Beautiful game amazing soundtrack

Beautiful visuals excellent soundtrack endearing narration moody sci fi story and fun game play Transistor has it all It takes some time and effort to figure the weapons and upgrades out but the effort is rewarded with many possible styles of play If you get over that initial learning hump the game will reward you I thought Bastion was good but this is better

From the absolutely gorgeous visuals and soundscape to its surprisingly deep combat system transistor is a musthave for anyone interested in a great storyfocused action rpg Absolutely beautiful

1st Transistor is an amazing game so give it a go if you can However the minimum required systems have been updated recently basically saying the game will work on all iOS devices when this isnt the case The App Store says its compatible with my iPad Mini but the I get a screen ingame telling me that I need at least a gen 2 ipad mini or an ipad air or an iphone 5 DOESNT WORK ON REQUIRED MINIMUM SYSTEMS CAUTION

If the functions were displayed on the left side of the screen and only worked while you were holding the function down and if you were not holding down a function then you would walk there then the UIgameplay ease would be perfect Instead both modes are VERY annoying in their own way Supergiant Games is amazing For now buy this game on the PC but buy Bastion for the iPad Bastion is actually even better on the iPad than on the PC Both are a couple of the most beautiful games available and the soundtrack in this one is incredible Stupid UIbutton placementfunction control

First heard about this app at work and thought I would try it out O my gosh so glad I did This game has amazing graphics for an iPhone game and loads incredibly fast The soundtrack is killer as well Please play this game with headphones you wont regret The soundtrack is also on apple music which I highly recommend downloading The story and concept of battling robots that are taking over the city with a sword they talks to you is pretty cool as well Whoever did the voice acting for transistor the swords name had a pretty cool voice Upgrade transistor in the game for more powerful combos and effects to destroy bots and bosses faster This game is currently 50 but its way worth buying it at full price You can also pick up where you left off on another iOS device because transistor saves all of your game data through the Cloud which is probably one of the best features of this game Soundtrack to story to my virtual and brutal assistant

Not sure why they havent thought of using a dpad as a way to move around You have to basically use skills on a sidebar while touching the screen where u want to walk too On top of that you have to touch every monster u want to attack and the skills go on cooldown so you have to change frequently It just doesnt make sense for any kind of game like this to not have a dpad functionality in it Would be so much easier tapping and having that godlike circle but no this company fails to get with the times Not worth the buy imo Bad controls ruin the game

I listened to this soundtrack proudly ten or so times before getting the game 10 seems steep I finally got it and its amazing and beautiful The playstyle is fun and engaging Red and the narrator keep the story flowing nicely and even her humming is a welcome break There are so many different ways to tackle this game and Im sure Ill play through a handful of times to enjoy different styles Thanks Supergiant Absolutely amazing

I was going to buy this game on pc as I did bastion but I bought on iOS steam take to much money from it as it is haha and this game worked well on my iPhone Great soundtrack like you would expect from supergiant games If you are thinking about picking it up I would I had no issues with the iOS port and its much cheeper then on steam Great game

This game was so incredible The atmosphere the art the story the soundtrack My only complaint is the controls Touch controls are in my opinion better but you have to select your function and then tap your target The advantage to that is precise aim the disadvantage is being fumbly and slower Classic is better for running while attacking but in Turn it lacks the precise aim of touch controls and sometimes I am forced to switch to touch controls to attack the right enemy which is pretty inconvenient I feel this would be perfectly solved if classic controls had the ability to tap which enemy you wanted while in Turn Sorry for the lengthy complaint the quality of the game was really amazing and I love it a lot Maybe I missed something in classic controls but I dont think so I hope to see this ability in a future update It would definitely make my recursion playthrough even better Absolutely Incredible

Transistor is by far one of my alltime favorite games I already played this game 3 times on my PlayStation 4 but decided to purchase the iPhones app just to support Supergiant games The art of the game and its soundtrack is a gorgeous piece of art I also recommend buying the soundtrack which is available on iTunes as well Gorgeous Piece of Art

Loved bastionthis game is lacking in all areas that made bastion great the story is boring the voice doesnt match the game at all and the fighting is so repetitive and boring I dread any fight because of how terrible it is I played for an hour or so but cant see myself ever playing through itits that bad Really disappointing

Transistor is an excellent game but not one you should buy if you have a 6th Gen iPod Touch It will NOT work It would have been helpful if this were mentioned in the description Caution doesnt work on iPod Touch 6G

Love the game but cant seem to get the iCloud sync to work I started on my iPhone and made some good progress but wanted to check it out on the bigger screen but cant seem to figure out how to get my game save to sync Also even on my iPhone 6 the game can get laggy at times Especially when going to and from the access point screen And annoyingly long load times which can get bad when you switch from the app for 5 seconds to check a text and then the game has to load as if it is starting up again Great game though Syncing issues
