major issue on the ipad version rules not accessible we hear people can t access the digital books they purchased this seriously should have been fixed before release congrats app team you are on track to become the next gw game designers In a world where playtesting is optional     no rules on ipad version

Bought the AoS book through the app It allowed me to view the war scrolls tied to the purchase but does not allow me to open the book Reached out to GW for support and have not heard back     Book purchase does not work

The app does not recognize that the enhanced versions of the Age of Sigmar book or painting guide have already been purchased As a result you cannot view them from within the app and several warscrolls are considered locked The latest version allows you to purchase each war scroll to unlock it overpriced at 199 but this should be totally unnecessary as I have already purchased the content and it should be available in the app The new Battle Packs are a good idea still too expensive but you get zero discount on the purchase if you have already purchased a war scroll Some of the battle packs have overlapping scrolls in them so you can end up effectively paying twothree times for the same warscroll There is no way to say download all undownloaded warscrolls You have to navigate to each one separately to download it The scrolling on the main screen is horrible To navigate to the bottom on the all screen to see new warscrolls is tedious To navigate back up to the top then also takes a lot of effort The method to update a warscroll is archaic There is no indication the warscroll has an update you have to know its been updated independently You then have to long press to delete the warscroll and redownload it Sometimes warscrolls are not rendered correctly and are unreadable This is cleared up sometimes by exiting the app killing it from the background and restarting it Until the app can correctly recognize already purchased content from the iTunes Store fairly the warscrolls are priced reasonably and the usability issues listed are resolved this app is a 1 star     Serious usability issues and book purchases not recognized

One of the major features of this app is to have all the warscrolls in one place I purchased the 125 Age of Sigmar boxed set and yet I cant have access to the warscrolls Its ridiculous They want me to buy a digital version of some book I dont need This whole app is a scam     More money gauging from GW

This is really handy to use and the My Battle feature is great I havent purchased the rule book so I havent run into that problem but dont worry guys theyll fix that soon                 Great App

The app still doesnt give an easy way to do pick up games such as point values or some other system I dont want to go to a store and hope my opponent has the exact models to re enact a certain battle or try to figure out power levels of the models ourselves Very lazy game design Disappointing that games workshop released an unfinished product     No points

Cant read the Age of Sigmar book I purchased Also sometimes the warscrolls wont open either Restarting sometimes fixes this for some but not for others The book purchased through app doesnt work and books purchased through black library or iBooksiTunes cant be uploaded into the app     Doesnt Work

App does not recognize purchases of enhance versions of the rulebooks and does not unlock content when you purchase enhanced versions Please fix                 Good base app

It works well on the iPhone side but its missing wars scrolls But of the Dark Elf warscrolls 8 are missing There are others Ive noticed missing but I have not checked other factions as throughly so I cant say how many others are really missing No really army building tool but you can group the scrolls you are using together I have not purchased any books so no idea how the integration works           Decent tool

This app allows you buy books within the app When you do so it unlocks app content you get within the book such as warscrolls and battalion scrolls However if you bought the IBook version Enchanced of a book the app doesnt sense this and does not unlock the scrolls within Right now you have to buy both books if you want the scrolls and the Enchanced version of a book in this app This needs to be fixed now 1 star till this is fixed     Does not work with ITunes Version of the Books

As of today if one has an iPad this app is only really useful for looking at Warscrolls It doesnt recognize that the user has an iTunes version of a book and theres likewise no means to get access to content if one bought a hardcopy And worst of all the actual rules DO NOT open on an iPad Not at all as good as it was hyped to be best avoided for the time being        Limited Utility on iPad

First I want to say kudos to Games Workshop for making the rules for this game free This is a big step for a company that claims its a miniatures first company and id like to see more down this route though AoS is a bit simplistic to my tastes Some suggestions for the app Search function for Warscrolls to mitigate the amount of scrolling one must do to find rules Add a collection tracker to the app to allow hobbyists to track the models in their collections and have this link to the minimum requirements of the warscrolls so the player knows what he can field the My Battle option is good but needs to be expanded maybe to allow the player to create lists of models for different armiesfactions more options to split warscrolls out by factions ie chaos powers empire dwarves etc rather than just Order destruction etc lastly adding a dice rolling simulator would really help to cut down on things needed for the battle Thanks and keep up the good work              Better than expected heres some suggestions

The app itself works great BUT there issues with wars scrolls Some lizard men like the old bloods have the wrong stats and some dark elf scrolls are missing But the app is still good and I enjoy using it to play but please fix those issues and then it would be a sure five star app        Some issues

Bought the Realmgate Wars in the App and wont open Also the rules wont open either        Disappointed

Bought Realm of Sigmar book via app advertised at 4999 Billed my credit card 5998 Book wont open in app although warscrolls unlocked Weird Trusting GW will fix issues Giving three stars for now because the app is great if it worked as it meant to Issues prevent higher rating           Houston we have a problem

Has all the info one needs to play with older models and the new ones Im impressed with the app to say the least My only gripe is them listing formations and requiring you to buy the 50 appbook to see it Just seems like a cruel tease I hope for future models they add them for free as that was part of their pitch for AoS Free rules and such                 Better than I expected

If you spend 4999 for the book it will not work Do not buy the books in this app     Do not purchase books in this app

I wish it was possible to read the book in iBooks so I could search bookmark use the table of contents or even just go to a specific page number and even have it remember what page I wAs on instead of opening from the beginning           Does it recognize book ownership

I purchased all the AoS content through iBooks and it doesnt recognize any of it leaving warscrolls locked Not worth it     Doesnt work

Game is great digital footprint means balancing could be addressed easily but the game is designed to be free form App is a good start Certainly makes referencing the several hundred model specific stats rules easy and keeps the flow of the game moving Great MVP keep going 3 games so far 45 min average I love it as a nonbasement dweller Problems Random crashes when selecting warscrolls you havent downloaded yet Wishlist My Battle feature is great let me save name my lists search by keyword wound save stats as 1st page in warscroll not the description My Battle wound counter tell me the wound sum of my list buff counters run etc on my warscrolls with a overview interface please Ill pay for this Haters are going to hate AoS is legit              dont let the butthurt 8thEd zealots get you down

I really like the app however when I try to read the Realmgate wars book it just crashes As of now I cannot get it to work If this wasnt a 50 buy I wouldnt be too bothered but it was Edit 1 week later Its been over a week and I still cannot access the book I bought through the app Bogus It cost way to much to not deliver Edit days later After deleting and reinstalling the application I finally coaxed the book into opening for me however I am extremely disappointed with the product The 50 does not format to the application well I have not found a way to save my placeturn to a specific page No interactive table of contents Feels like the type of product a person gives to their replacement at work after theyve been aid off its all there just not in a remotely useful manner I enjoy the app but dont spend the money     Does not deliver

Yeah i have the rules on the AoS primer but within this app i cant click on the button that says rules Well i can but nothing happens All the warscrolls are fine though        Great app but unable to access the rules

Right now the app forces you to by the books twice It will only recognize in app purchased book to unlock that content There is only one book available but a nice link to the Black Library so that you can stuff it wont interact with Not that there is anything else out yet to interact with the app And even after getting two copies of the same material the rules still dont open Sure you can get a free copy but isnt the point to have everything in one place Stay away for now try again in a couple of months to see if they bothered     Not good enough

This is not a perfect app It seems that I have to download warscrolls that I already downloaded It hangs occasionally to my frustration On the other hand its a solid apps with all the rules one needs to play a GW published war game Thats pretty amazing right there Throw on that GW admitted they made a mistake and had customers delete and reinstall the app well thats pretty amazing right there There might be people who argue that this should be a review of the app alone and I respect that opinion I do not however agree with it The app the hobby the game and the company are all judged together imho My four star rating takes that all into account              Decent app different attitude from GW

So far this is a great way to combine all the warscrolls for your armies into one place The scrolls are designed to be viewed on a mobile device My only problem is that my iBooks purchases are not linked so I cannot open the Battalion scrolls in the app              Great portable app

This app has a great armycollection tool and looks to be a solid platform for future expansion of this game HOWEVER I bought a book within the app and it doesnt open I have an iPhone 5S and it crashes the app every time I attempt to open the book Until this app works as listed itll be a one star for me     Amazing App but HUGE Problem

I like having easy access to the rules and the warscrolls on my phonehowever the lack of army building restrictions is making it very difficult to have enjoyable games with an opponent This game needs to have some form of army building rules        AoS needs a true army builder

The app does just what it says Allows you to view warscrolls and if you buy the books you can unlock content However I cant seem to find how to prove Ive bought the book say at a GW store or an independent retailer It seems you can only unlock if bought through this app Is that true Also there should be a download all button within each faction Instead of having to select each individual one Finally the rules menu doesnt work on the iPad version though the iPhone version works fine Games Workshop missed the boat in making an app that their customer really wanted One that provides some kind of structure to army selection They could have made a load of cash with an app that did that        Slick but not enough

The AoS app is a great tool for playing the game All the warscrolls are available and are laid out very well for the small screens The app has been constantly improved since its release and hopefully that continues This app saves a ton of space on my table since I dont have to have a million books and papers lying around The warscroll formations that can only be found in the expensive rule books can be purchased in the app separately for 099 each              A great starting point

Its functional love how it combines the useful features of an enhanced ebook with the utility of an app Cant wait for other GW games to be added or get their own app Great work with this one keep improving and innovating SJ              When do we get a version for 40k

Fine free app that does what it needs to do Unfortunately I will still be using paper instead of my iPad Heres why 1 Needs Landscape mode iPad users will want to use their covers to stand the iPad up during a battle 2 Be able to swipe between Warscrolls that Ive picked for My Battle Closing and reopening Warscrolls is a hassle 3 And of course being able to unlock Warscroll Battalions if I own the paper book would be nice One star lost for that alone Easy fixes please           A few iPad suggestions

Still very expensive with its in app purchases So for me its on par with games that charge you money for crystals and energy to keep upgrading your weapons and abilities And no I didnt buy anything through the app AOS is ok Not super stellar but an ok systemthis app misses the mark by miles Not sure whos requesting these features but Im pretty sure they arent hobbyists     Not much changed

Wow is this ever lame Free app sure but you get nothing for that You spend the 5000 for the book and guess what Its useless No bookmarks no annotations nothing to make it even remotely useful Free rules Not hardly My copy has not ever displayed the rules not once This is bad programming and moneygrubbing to the extreme Run do not walk away from this loser Spend your 50 on the real book     50 bucks worth of nothing

I really like this app I can pick and choose which war scrolls I need for the fight at hand The artwork is beautiful and a nice touch I love that GW made most of this free Its really a step in the right direction for them                 Great App

Finding the unit you want to use in your battle is hard from the big list of which includes all the stuff from the previous version Maybe they could break down the army more than just Order Chaos etc and let you select the actual army youre trying to choose a model from Other than that it is kinda weak how even though you buy the expensive book that comes with all this stuff but you want the digital reference you still have to purchase the info in the app Maybe they have a code inside books you can enter in the app to unlock what you already paid for Still three stars though Most of it is free inside the app and I prefer the digital versions because I dont like thumbing through my book every time I want to look something up and end up grubbing it up or destroying the pages Glad to have the app just wish it had a few more features see above           Squire

iPad mini Pushing the rules icon does nothing Everything else seems to work brilliantly If you could add multiples of the same unit it might even be an ok list maker        Awesome But I cant read the rules

Bought the book thru the app and it wont let me read italthough it did unlock a few war scrolls for 4999 As others have mentioned the rules button also doesnt work I did get the book to open a couple of times but it is buggy No table of contents No way to save last page read No way to move from page 70 to 156 etc without actually paging through each page     GW fails

I like the app but having the limited edition book and needing to pay 50 more to get the war scrolls in the app is not good I would rather lug the book around and spend the money on troops     I ned to pay another 50 to get the new war scrolls

Rules cant be accessed in the IPad version warscrolls are scattered about in the faction menus and why do I have to pay 5000 for the AOS book just to access two of the Warscrolls Battalions that are free in the back of the 96 pg fluff book GW needs to spend a little more time getting this app organized and running correctly and quit trying to squeeze every dollar out of us at every turn           Meh

This app is a great tool for our games at the table Need a warscroll for your unit there it is Really handy for that I dont own any digital content so I cannot speak to the performance there I do wish there was a way to unlock the warscrolls for the formations in the hardback book sitting on my table That would be awesome Still this is a handy tool for the table Definitely recommended              Delivers the warscrolls

This app is pretty good for looking at different warscrolls for your age of sigmar games My problem with it is the constant crashing When you load a new warscroll more often than not the app will crash It is also missing a keyword search It would be really great if you could search for wizard for example it would make navigating the cumbersome app a bit better        Handy but not great

I have read all the other reviews and Im not sure why people are giving it such a low rating The app does what it is supposed to do I have an iPhone 6 and have never had any issues with it This app lets you download all the wars scrolls you need to play your army it lets you sort them and create your own list of what your playing for ease of search For a free app it does what its supposed to do well and it will be good to see it evolve in the future The things I feel like it needs are a better search function and a better way to update the war scrolls Currently you have to know what has been updated and go in and delete the war scroll and redownload the new one What should change if you like the hard copy books they should come with a download code to get access to get the locked war scrolls for free Aside from that the locked war scroll battalions are 99 cents so if you want them just kick down a dollar to get it In a world of freemium games Im not mad about that I dont see this as GW trying to get more money from us as they just released all the army books and rule book for free saving me hundreds of dollarsif I need to pay a dollar for a battalion on a single army I playIm not losing any sleep over it and there no adds in this app Hope this helps              Its a good app
