If I could rate this update with a zero I would The scrolling jumbled information etc Consider customer feedback before you update again I have downloaded the WPXI app instead The only positive of this update is the removal of comments It was fueled with bigotry and racism and Im glad to see that removed Fix the remaining features please If 0 stars was an option
This app lacks a usable interface for mobile devices Items take up too much screen space no quickly readable digest too much screen space on by lines and huge ads WPXIs app is FAR better
You need to go back to the old app it was much better The more you update the worse the app gets I was reading the other reviews and their not impressed by the new updates either I hope you consider going back to what was much better Not good
I didnt like the old format and had hopes that the new one would be better It is not For one thing I cant flip it on the iPad and I dont like that inconvenience The stories are repetitive and often a day or two old I dont understand why things that are 3 or more days old still are at the top of the list I dont find it easy to use and find things I want to read Not a fan of the update notifications but I can turn that off Disappointing since WTAE is my go to place for local news Disappointing
New app takes a little getting used to but I like the new look especially since more stories have video now The old app you had to look all around for them My suggestion to channel 4 is to add traffic cams for those of us with a bad commute After getting used to it its good

Too many repeats in the first section between top and local Is this really all of the stories that could be included between the 2 categories without repeating any This version is still very busy and cluttered The previous version was concise and easy to select items of interest This version requires lots more scrolling and selecting among 3 categories per area I dont even bother past the first two areas The previous version was very organized and perfect for smartphone use No longer my first choice for news and information Still Disappointing

I dont really like the way this updated app is set up Its hard to find and see all of the stories The maps rarely work only when there is no rain in the area I do like the slide show portion though Its just ok

Wow this is the most buggy never updated in a timely fashion news app out there Stories old ones are listed several times and it is updated so infrequently that ALL the news is old Sure makes me want to watch their news program to get old news live This is 2014

Im sorry WTAE but your improved new app for WTAE news is NOT an improvement over the previous For me the most disappointing feature is that in the iPad version it is simply a big iPhone version in Portrait view only Until you come out with a version that is also Landscape view I will use the old app as long as it lets me or forgo the WTEA app entirely No Landscape view

The same story was breaking news from Thursday to Monday It was never updated with new content Also other headline news on the weekend show was not put into app Very small area to read stories because of the large ad banners at top and bottom popping up Never updates on weekends
